No one knows where it is or how it came to be. Everyone knows the Way of Heaven, but not its true name.

It created nothingness, and in the process of creating something, nothingness created the Way of Heaven. The Way of Heaven evolved within it, producing Yin and Yang, and creating countless worlds.

Each of those worlds evolved independently, with the Heavenly Dao residing above and encompassing them all. However, there is only one world where one can find the door to touch the true origin of the Heavenly Dao.

Someone raised a question: Why can cultivators at the True Immortal realm use the traces of the Great Dao, while cultivators at a higher realm are instead united with the Heavenly Dao? Logically speaking, since True Immortals have already come into contact with the Great Dao, shouldn't their cultivation path follow the origin?

The answer to this question is: "The Way of Heaven is formless yet not empty, empty yet not nameless. The Great Way is extremely mysterious. In the gate of all wonders, it has no name and can only be barely described as the Great Way. When it is simple, even a child can use it. When it is complex, even a god cannot understand its essence. Before nothingness and existence, it is the mother of everything."

This is why the pinnacle of the path to immortality is to unite with the Dao of Heaven (this Dao is the Dao of Heaven, not the Great Dao). When a person is born, spiritual energy gathers, and the five internal organs are all received from Heaven. For a person, although the Dao is nearby, what can be directly felt is the Dao of Heaven.

Of course, some have proposed a hypothesis: the Dao created nothingness, and nothingness, in the process of creating existence, created the Heavenly Dao. Therefore, the origin of the Heavenly Dao might very well be related to nothingness. If we obtain that origin and trace it further back, we might find the Dao itself.

These questions and hypotheses were compiled into a book titled "Questions and Answers." Luo Benmo had read the Record of Cultivation of the Heavenly Dao and also the Record of Questions and Answers. But what she understood and realized from it, she never shared with anyone.

Even lone wolves are no exception.

All Lone Wolf knew was that on that day, Luo Benmo suddenly called him over and told him about the Blood Soul Separation Technique.

Then, after the battle in Lingquan City, the Bloodthirsty One was suppressed, and the soul of Luo Benmo, which resided in the Blood Spirit Root within him, was activated and gave him a few instructions.

First, collect the corpses of all the Earthly Fiends and Heavenly Generals.

Second, go to the secret cave she had prepared in advance, where many books on the Heavenly Dao and killing moves of the Blood Dao are hidden.

Third, find the three items: Taixu Soil, Wuhe Flower, and Tongchen Light.

The first two were in the Secret Realm of Heaven and Earth, which Lone Wolf obtained with great effort. As for the Dust-Shattering Light, it was used by the Immortal Sword Sect to replace the Sword Soul Heart and placed in the Soul-Embodling Array, so Lone Wolf didn't have that opportunity.

However, just now, the Immortal Sword Sect was massacred, and Lone Wolf finally had the opportunity to find it in the Immortal Sword Sect's treasure pavilion.

In its seventieth year, the Immortal Sword Sect no longer needed the Soul-Imbuing Array, and this thing was relegated to the top floor of the attic. Perhaps, just as its name suggests, it blended in with the world, and no one discovered its true function.

At this moment, all four items were in Luo Benmo's hands. She didn't want to dominate this world at all, but rather to open a passage to the world where the [Gate] was located.

The world's will of course would not allow it, but before it could unleash a few more lightning tribulations, Luo Benmo condensed a blood hand and reached towards the place where its origin was.

I'm afraid of getting it wiped.

In a single instant, the world's will was crushed to pieces and completely absorbed into Luo Benmo's spiritual sea.

"It's just a bigger ball of light."

She sneered, and shouted with her spiritual energy high in the sky:

"The false world is a prison for mortals; we will ascend to a higher stage."

The righteous cultivators who were watching near the Immortal Sword Sect were horrified to discover that the sky, which had been shrouded in dark clouds, was rapidly turning red, and a nebula-like passage was slowly opening.

In the square, for some reason, the clever monkey suddenly shouted excitedly, "Our leader is guiding us forward. We will surely achieve great things and be remembered in history!"

Lone Wolf followed closely, raising his fist and shouting just like in the old days: "Tear the enemy apart and show our might!"

"Tear the enemy apart and display our mighty power!"

The 108 Blood Path cultivators of the Earthly Fiends and Heavenly Gangs shouted loudly.

They were all old men, elite soldiers selected from the Lingquan City era. A hundred years of conflict, a hundred years of escape, they had withstood the test of time and the test of life and death, and now, they were completely devoted to their emperor.

The world's will has been shattered; that's fucking satisfying.

Let all the loves and hates, all the unresolved karmic ties, be left behind. They are about to embark on a wider stage, a bigger world. Would an adult care about children playing house?

A crimson hand swept out, grabbing the mysterious man. Luo Benmo looked at him coldly: "Tell me, where is Yang Pingsheng?"

"He is in that world, the world where the door is located. I'll give you his coordinates!"

The mysterious man promptly backed down and hurriedly transmitted the coordinates to Luo Benmo.

Luo Benmo did not put him down, but flew towards the blood-red gate, shouting: "Those with ambition, follow me!"

Blood splattered into the sky, and the Spirit Monkey, Iron Ox, Lone Wolf, and the Earthly Fiends and Heavenly Generals all followed her into the doorway.

Amidst thunderous roars, the passage dissipated after everyone entered, gradually being swallowed by dark clouds.

In the void, the passage guided everyone forward; in the pitch-black place, only the crimson path at the very front opened up the way.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, the mysterious man recited an incantation and instantly broke free from the blood-red palm.

Something is falling away from Lobenmo's soul.

She instinctively sensed something was wrong and wanted to unleash a killing move, but the mysterious man gave her the middle finger, turned around, and vanished into nothingness.

Before she could give chase, the scene changed in the blink of an eye, and they were already standing on thick mud.

Ten Thousand Mountains.

The moon was bright and the stars were few; a cold night wind blew, making everyone feel a slight chill.

"Could this be...?"

The monkey was quite excited; they had actually managed to travel between worlds.

"It's a pity that Blood Pigeon didn't come."

Lone Wolf shook his head and sighed. After the battle of Spirit Spring City, Blood Pigeon disappeared. He had searched for it, but to no avail.

Blood Pigeon wasn't a bloodthirsty person after all, and Luo Benmo couldn't sense her location. So, she simply snorted coldly at Lone Wolf's words: "Just a vixen."

She doesn't deserve to be her friend.

After the battle of Lingquan City, Luo Benmo entrusted her to keep an eye on Yang Pingsheng, but unfortunately, she broke her promise.

Luo Benmo hates people who don't keep their promises.

But right now, she didn't care about that anymore. The marker was guiding her, and the person she was longing for was just a few dozen kilometers away.

Yes, he was right there.

Her younger brother, Yang Pingsheng.

Chapter Thirty-Seven: We Will Eventually Meet Again in a Time That Has Stand Still

Yang Pingsheng opened his eyes.

My whole body felt sore and numb, and I had no strength at all.

Still inside the cave, not far away, the systematically created black cat lay on the ground, its eyes rolled back and its tongue lolling out. It was unclear whether it had been drugged or knocked unconscious, but it was definitely unconscious.

Her wet hair clung to her face, and it was damp to the touch. Her limbs were weak and powerless, and even her mind was foggy, unable to concentrate.

"Brother."

He inhaled the damp, cold air and, in a daze, heard Wen Shihan's voice coming from in front of him.

"Brother, wake up."

Before him, a tiny figure, no bigger than a palm, pushed against his cheek and cried out with all its might, "Brother, it's me!"

The blur gradually faded, revealing the small figure before him—Wen Shihan. He moved his lips and said, "Little Han..."

"I'm here, brother. That woman drugged you, and I'm helping you expel the drug's effects now."

As the young Wen Shihan spoke, he mobilized his spiritual energy to draw out the medicinal power from Yang Pingsheng's body.

From the nostrils.

This was just the first one. Then came the second, the third, the fourth, and countless smaller Wen Shihans emerged from the shadows, crawled under Yang Pingsheng's body, and forcefully lifted him up.

"Xiao Han... what are you going to do?"

"My main body has already entangled that woman. She's a madwoman. Brother, let's get out of here quickly."

"I……"

"Brother, that woman is far beyond my strength. I can't hold out for long."

Lifted up by the group of scoundrels, the leader, Xiao Wen Shihan, shouted, "Let's go!"

The Yin energy enveloped Yang Pingsheng, shrunk him, and sent him away.

At the summit of the Ten Thousand Mountains, Wen Shihan, covered in blood from the beating, flashed a light in his eyes, immediately unleashed a large cloud of black mist, and turned to leave.

Luo Benmo's True Immortal realm wasn't reached through the proper path, but rather through fusion with her Blood Spirit Root; she hadn't yet had time to condense her true essence. Furthermore, the Dao Mark she had just condensed was entirely used to break Wen Shihan's formation, so for the time being, she truly had no way to kill Wen Shihan.

Wen Shihan had been a True Immortal before, and he still held the remaining traces of the Great Dao that he had previously condensed. The killing moves he made were greatly enhanced by those traces of the Great Dao, and Luo Benmo was also badly beaten.

Seeing that Wen Shihan was trying to escape, she sneered and summoned thousands of blood lightning bolts to block his retreat.

It doesn't matter if you're shrouded in black mist. I don't need to figure out where you are. I'll just use a large area-of-effect attack.

Immortal Killing Move - Blood Light Thunder that Takes Ten Thousand Heavenly Tribulations.

With countless bolts of blood-red lightning blocking her path, Wen Shihan had nowhere to escape, so she decided to give up. She turned around, gripped her ring-pommel sword, and slashed at Luo Benmo.

Luo Benmo no longer held back, summoned his thunder whip, and began fighting with Wen Shihan.

The more she fought, the more frustrated Luo Benmo became. Admittedly, Wen Shihan was a level below her, but that bastard had far too many underhanded tricks up his sleeve. One moment he would send his avatar to ambush her from behind her shadow, the next he would use black mist to blind her, and then he would provoke her emotions. The variety of underhanded tricks was countless.

"You're quite the know-it-all."

She could no longer tolerate it and used her killing move again, but this time, it was a destructive one.

Immortal Path Killing Move - Nine Heavens Thunder Dragon Dance Formation Kill.

The Nine Heavens Thunder Dragon Dance Array Killing Technique, though not enhanced by the Great Dao Mark, is still a destructive immortal technique. Mountains crumbled and the earth trembled as nine thunder dragons roared in, wantonly destroying everything around them.

Wen Shihan was in unbearable pain; after fighting for so long, she had almost no spiritual energy left.

Luo Benmo seemed to have an inexhaustible supply of spiritual energy, unleashing deadly immortal techniques at the drop of a hat. For cultivators, controlling spiritual energy is a crucial aspect of combat, but Luo Benmo seemed unconcerned about such matters, unleashing whatever killing moves he had at hand, completely disregarding the issue of spiritual energy and focusing solely on destructiveness.

Nine thunder dragons coiled around Wen Shihan and came at her. She was caught off guard and was immediately hit.

A hissing sound, like lightning striking the skin, filled the air with a burnt aroma. After the violent explosion, Wen Shihan collapsed, covered in blood.

"Go to hell!"

Luo Benmo roared and struck Wen Shihan with a palm.

Kaka-

The sound of gears turning.

Everything stopped.

The shattered rocks, the billowing dust, the vomiting blood of Wen Shihan—everything came to a stop.
