The improved female villains regained their memories.

She paused, as if trying to convince herself.

Waiting. The word suddenly came to mind clearly. Fox people firmly believed in waiting, thinking that being willing to stop and spend time for someone was the most direct proof of love.

Jiang Mochang undoubtedly loved Yang Pingsheng deeply; otherwise, why would he have repeatedly entered the cycle of reincarnation in Taixu and endured countless tribulations for him? But Li Chumo's love was no less profound. Without her unwavering waiting and assistance, transcending life and death, Jiang Mochang's plan would have been impossible.

Turning around, she saw a pair of scarlet eyes that seemed to be burning with hellfire, staring at her silently, almost face to face.

Su Murong: "!!!"

The next second, a small, cold but incredibly strong hand suddenly grabbed her entire face and slammed her against the wall behind her!

The immense impact made her vision go black and her back ache.

"Shh!" Luo Benmo put the index finger of her other hand to her pale lips, her red eyes surging with undisguised killing intent and mockery. She whispered in Su Murong's ear, "Su Murong, look what you've done."

"Hehehe." Su Murong trembled, but still pretended to be silly and smiled: "Big sister, are you alright?"

“Tonight, I’ll be generous and give it to Li Chumo.” Luo Benmo’s voice was very low, but it carried a chilling calmness. “I can avoid being the tactless bad guy who bothers them.”

Her fingers, gripping Su Murong's cheek, tightened suddenly, with such force that they almost crushed his bones.

"But only you, Su Murong, only you, I will absolutely, absolutely never forgive!" Her voice suddenly turned sharp and ferocious, a bloodthirsty killing intent surging forth, "I wish I could tear you to pieces right now, and let your filthy blood flow through every alley of the capital!"

"This is terrifying, meow! Please let me go, big sister!"

"Even if you mimic Qi Feng's speech, I won't let you off the hook, Su Murong, you fucking deserve to die!"

"Ouch, ouch, ouch! I'm going to die, meow! I'm really going to die, meow!!"

"Let's go, let's find another place to have a proper talk."

"Help, Pingsheng, help... Waaaaaah!!!"

Su Murong's last cry for help was brutally choked in his throat, leaving only a desperate sob.

Luo Benmo dragged her along without any mercy, and they instantly disappeared into the deeper shadows of the corridor.

Almost simultaneously!

Boom!

Outside the window, a pale bolt of lightning tore through the night, followed by rolling thunder that made the windows vibrate.

Inside the side room, Yang Pingsheng, who was telling a story, looked up as if something had happened and gazed at the window that had suddenly been illuminated: "Hmm? It seems like it's going to rain again tonight?"

But before he could think it through, his sleeve was grabbed forcefully.

"Don't worry about what's going on outside!"

Li Chumo grumbled in dissatisfaction, her fluffy tail thrashing eagerly from side to side, tightly wrapping around his arm and drawing all his attention back to herself.

"You promised to tell all the stories to me alone!"

Tonight, the little fox is going to have her storyteller all to herself, and no one is allowed to disturb her.
