Tian Xiaoban's hands froze as she ate. She cursed inwardly: I hate smart people.

The silence at that moment was deafening.

Seeing the awkward silence, Alfred said with an embarrassed laugh, "Sorry, you don't have to answer. Just keep eating."

Chapter 16: The Little Broken Watch is Powerful Again

When Batman returned, it didn't look like he was coming home at all.

(This is actually Alfred's fault. When he sent the voice message to Batman, he didn't include any notes or anything...)
