Disappointment, disappointment in myself. To be honest, I'm quite dissatisfied with this book.

Let me vent a little.

Let me first explain why this book came about.

Those who know me well should know that I am Chu Hua Chu.

I've been following the Mother Hen Card series, from initial anticipation to eventual numbness.

Actually, from this point on, I felt there was no problem; it was just that the prepared outline needed to be revised.

I can even accept that the Hatsuka I like isn't actually Hatsuka.

But when the original audio dog crawled out, I was devastated.

At the time, I even used voice messages in the group to curse at Mother Chicken...

That's why I don't want to write the book I was originally planning to write anymore.

So I thought I might as well create an original story, and then I wrote tens of thousands of words about magical girls.

However, the internal submission was rejected by the editor.

This does not conform to the style of this website.

To be honest, I'm a little disappointed, even though I really liked it.

Then a friend said to me, "You should definitely write about girl bands."

So I wrote this book.

I hadn't watched the anime, so I watched it on the spot; the same goes for the manga.

The first three chapters were written with a "whatever, it doesn't matter" attitude.

There was no outline; I just wrote whatever came to mind. At least the previous book had a main character and a backstory that ran throughout the entire story, but this one doesn't even have that.

I dislike the protagonist Nekoyashiki Haru because he wasn't the protagonist I initially envisioned.

People often ask, "What is the purpose of the four corners?"

The answer is, the set residue.

The original setting for Haru Nekoyashiki was that of a genius painter who went blind. His originally colorful eyes turned into an oily color, which made him extremely self-conscious. After a period of time, he deceived himself by saying that he could hear colors through music, but in reality, it was just self-deception.

Four Corners (of course, it wasn't originally called Four Corners) was inseparable from its original cat as a guide dog.

Cats are inherently creatures that treat others as tools. They don't care what others do, as long as they can hear your colors [music during an emotional outburst].

The protagonist was designed purely for the "Mother Chicken Card" group.

I'm all set to let Hatsune Miku sneak naked into the cat's house, lock up the guide dog, and take advantage of the cat's vulnerability when it loses the dog!

But the hen that was stuck with Hatsune Miku crawled around shattered all of that.

It's not that I can't write, it's just that I feel disappointed and don't want to write anymore.

The hen card overwhelmed me.

If the main characters are all the author's children...

So the cats of today are something I pieced together from the corpse of a child, just to fit the lonely rock and roll.

I don't like conventional main characters; to me, cats are too conventional.

That's why I don't like cats.

Let's talk about the problems with the work itself.

The logic is flawed, the research is insufficient, the romance is haphazard, the realization is too rapid, and the plot is rushed.

This resulted in an incomplete work.

However, it's all over now.

I'm the kind of person who craves praise but is also afraid of negative feedback; I have a fragile heart.

So in the later stages, all I could do was try my best not to read the comments.

I occasionally check it, but I do so cautiously, rubbing the screen little by little with my finger to see if there are any new comments, and if any of them say that my writing is bad. If so, I will immediately open the background and close Hedgehog Cat.

Fortunately, everyone is kind, so there were basically no incidents.

I apologize for presenting you with this work.

I remember some reviews, some from fans of my previous book, but some of which were dismissive or even offensive towards this one.

I'm sorry I've disappointed quite a few people.

Actually, towards the end, I didn't dislike Nekoyashiki Haru that much anymore.

Maybe he'll eventually be my child or something... That sounds a bit melodramatic...

However, it's not as annoying as it used to be.

Perhaps it's because I've seen through him.

If I were to write it, it would probably be original, but I doubt it would be the kind of thing that people would like.

But if I don't write a book that is entirely my own... it's as if I'm not qualified to be called a "novelist" at all.
