As Chu Mingkong looked up in front of the courtyard, a colossal statue of a thousand-armed Bodhisattva appeared in the distance, its majestic form concealed by drifting white clouds.

Although she was far away, she was so big that she gave Chu Mingkong a sense of oppression, as if she could slap him.

It was as if I had been drawn into the world of the "Mysterious Woman Scripture" that day, looking up at the Great Mysterious Woman.

Chu Mingkong walked in. The place was bustling with activity, with many guests, clinking glasses, and spilling wine.

But these were all just background illusions. When Chu Mingkong looked closely, he couldn't make out the figures anymore.

He went straight into the inner room, where the goddess was. She looked just like the courtesan he remembered, bright and beautiful, intelligent and graceful, and possessed a calm temperament even in the dusty world.

"Is it really necessary to go to such lengths? We already know who you are, so why bother creating this little courtyard?"

This is actually making me a little angry. You might as well just start fighting right away. Just use your Heaven and Earth Dharma, or directly guide me with the Thousand-Handed Bodhisattva, or forcibly convert me by pressing me to the ground. Why do all this unnecessary stuff?

I won't treat you like Liu Qingmei. Don't call me "Your Highness," just call me "Benefactor" as before.

The goddess Bodhisattva stood up and gave Chu Mingkong a bright smile. Without Zuo Qiuchi beside her for comparison, the courtesan's temperament was quite good.

"Your Highness is joking. I am who I am. Whether I am the most beautiful courtesan in the capital or a goddess or bodhisattva in Buddhism, I am still me."

Does a person become a completely different person as they grow from the past to the present? Does a child growing into adulthood mean they've been replaced?

Chu Mingkong secretly felt a headache coming on. He really didn't like arguing; he only liked kissing. Even Mi'er's lips, which were as hard as hers, felt soft to kiss.

Besides, it's pointless to expect him to reason with a mere Bodhisattva; it's better to just restrain him.

Chu Mingkong remained fearless. Since the other party was determined to convert him and wouldn't let go of someone who could easily enter and leave the Abyss, it wouldn't threaten his life. At most, it would only tarnish his purity.

Chu Mingkong has a strong heart and can withstand this kind of trauma.

But as luck would have it, he had seen the very question the goddess had asked him before!

"This isn't just a substitution; it's a fallacy of changing the subject."

A new piece of flesh grew on the wound, and the little Kunba grew into a big penis. The person was still the same, with no change, but now your soul has been completely replaced.

The one speaking to me now is the Bodhisattva of Boundless Love and Compassion, not the talented courtesan I met that day.

Liu Qingmei, standing before him, remained unmoved. She gracefully walked up to Chu Mingkong, her shapely breasts pressing against his chest...

There was still a tiny bit of erection rubbing against him.

In that instant, even her demeanor and temperament seemed to have returned to the time in the capital, with the admiration and respect she felt after learning his identity, as well as the coy restraint and alluring shyness that she hadn't shown that day.

"Your Highness, you are really attached to appearances. Many people around you are saying that Your Highness's thinking is too impulsive and reckless, right? You can't think clearly about the illusions in front of you. Perhaps even the crystallization of Your Highness's birth is fake."

You said Qingmei, my soul has changed, but has it really changed? I have only awakened to wisdom after experiencing a mental tribulation. Does a person become possessed by knowledge after acquiring new knowledge and understanding new wisdom?

I still remember the story Your Highness told me, your father, and your teacher that day. According to Your Highness, is it possible that I possessed the wisdom of the goddess/bodhisattva?

hiss--

Chu Mingkong inwardly sighed. He really couldn't win the argument; he had been too confident!

However, the goddess said that the crystallization he created was an illusion, meaning that his daughter who could grow bigger and smaller was also an illusion.

Bullshit!

Unable to reason with him or argue with him, Chu Mingkong simply chose to give up thinking and ignore the other party's verbal assault.

The goddess bodhisattva didn't seem to care about Chu Mingkong's decision to abandon thought; she simply smiled slightly.

"Your Highness, you must have been feeling uneasy that day because your father and teacher were present. What we couldn't finish then, we should continue today."

This even has a themed element, that's pretty good!

Chu Mingkong scoffed: "If you bring out Liu Qingmei, I might be able to take it seriously. But right now, I can't muster any strength to be a goddess like you."

This was a little trap he had been planning these past few days. If the goddess and bodhisattva could really summon Liu Qingmei, it would further confirm the matter of possession.

But his plans seemed unable to escape the notice of the goddess, who asked in bewilderment:

"Your Highness, I am Qingmei. I have been in front of you the whole time. And...Does Your Highness really have no interest at all?"

The goddess slowly lifted the hem of her white dress, revealing a serene space of boundless charm to Chu Mingkong. She stretched out her delicate, jade-like hand and touched Chu Mingkong's wisdom.

"It seems Your Highness truly has the inclination to turn towards Buddhism; it has already pointed the way, and I can't stop it no matter what I try."

If you're so capable, then let me move! You won't even let me back up!

The Asura King, with her dark skin and white hair, appeared in the Realm of No Thoughts. Even before she reached the small courtyard, her voice preceded her arrival. She said:

"Long time no see, Bodhisattva Boundless Intent."

Along with her voice came a powerful punch.

Chapter 405 Killing Without Killing

......

The powerful bloodline of the Asura race is concentrated in several branches of the main lineage. In the ancient past, these branches belonged to several powerful families within the Asura race, but after being converted to Buddhism, they cooperated into one lineage.

Perhaps to avoid unnecessary internal strife and not want the Asura clan to experience internal conflict and division after converting to Buddhism, the main lineage no longer splits up.

Children born in the main lineage are largely unaware of their fathers or mothers, and are raised and cared for by the clan's priests. Consequently, there is no conflict between legitimate and illegitimate children, and they remain united as one.

Rather, this form was the norm in much older times, and the concept of a family only arose after a family split due to disagreements.

The Asura King remembered asking the priest, who was both his teacher and his mother, when he was young:

“Priest, why can’t we attack the Buddhists? There are fewer and fewer worthy opponents to learn from. People outside the Pure Land are not worth attacking, and even those within the Pure Land are too restrained in their exchanges. I find ourselves to be like aliens.”

"That's right. You show no mercy to the losers either, just as our ancestors did. However, our ancestors were the losers and later converted to Buddhism, which led to the many limitations we face today."

"How did he lose? To whom did he lose? I have walked through every corner of the Pure Land, but I have not found the strongest one. I have flipped through those dusty books and only seen general terms for 'Buddha', but I have not seen the person himself."

"This is not a question I can answer for you, Asura, for it was once my question as well, and I can understand the defeat of my ancestors."

Without strong individuals, there is no meaning in fighting and strife. Since there are strong individuals, what our ancestors sought was a defeat, and at worst, we could fight again in the future.

Looking at the Buddhist Pure Land today, I don't know who is worth fighting with outside, and there are many restrictions inside. There are even very few people in the Buddhist community who can defeat me. Why do people still listen to this Dharma?

Only when Buddhism produces another powerful figure who can surpass our race will there be a place to listen to and follow the Buddha's teachings.

However, I've heard of a secret organization within Buddhism that gathers powerful individuals both inside and outside the sect, but I've never seen it before.

This is the simplest principle: if you want to prove that your scriptures are worthy of belief, then first demonstrate how powerful your scriptures can make you.

The priest in the Asura King's memory had told her about this confusion, and she had also developed a desire to break the precepts and no longer follow the Three Refuges and Five Precepts.

The result came very easily; where the Asura priests fought, only scorched earth and ruined temples remained.

Even the Buddha and Bodhisattva once suddenly manifested in Xingqi Temple, and a woman suddenly gained powerful magic in a short time, but she was also killed by the Asura priest.

But just as the Asura priest was preparing to leave with her people, she suddenly developed a headache and couldn't get up for several days. Her struggles and pain echoed throughout the Buddhist Pure Land for days.

When that hoarse voice faded into the Buddhist sanctuary, leaving only an echo, it was truly over.

The Asura priest manifested as a Bodhisattva.

The Asura clan, who had one foot out of the Buddhist Pure Land, had no choice but to stay under the guidance of this suddenly enlightened sage within their clan.

......

The ripples of one's mood are like the sand on a beach; even a tiny fish or crab can leave a noticeable mark as it crawls across.

Memories often come flooding back like a tide, arriving quickly and departing just as fast.

When the memories in the Asura King's eyes faded, what remained was a calm indifference on her face.

The powerful punch that was just used as a greeting gift shattered the small courtyard into a distorted light and shadow, except for the area where the goddess and bodhisattva were located, which remained intact.

Amidst the distorted ruins of light and shadow, the courtesan makeup on the goddess Bodhisattva vanished, and the radiant aura of the Dharma ring behind her shone brightly, her white dress highlighting her dignified yet alluring aura.

The residual power of the punch dissipated in her palms, and her delicate hands formed the Brahma Box Mudra. The goddess bodhisattva, equally composed, gazed at the Asura King and said:

"Asuruo, why are you here, and why did you attack me?"

The black-skinned, white-haired Asura King slowly walked over, lightning suddenly appearing around her. Behind her, eighteen kinds of Asura divine weapons swirled, weaving into a corner of the Asura light image. The light patterns were interlocked, but there was a slight gap, yet it did not hinder the display of her overwhelming power and aura that could blot out the sun and moon.

"Let's see what this new generation of goddesses and bodhisattvas are busy with. They used to take my priest's body, but now they've changed their appearance."

But do you still remember your past? You once said you were a Bodhisattva, and a Bodhisattva is a priest of my Asura clan. What will you say now?

The goddess bodhisattva did not answer the Asura King's question about the past, but only said:

"The causes, conditions, effects, and names of all phenomena are endless. Sentient beings are endless, and the suffering of sentient beings is also endless. I wish to liberate sentient beings from the endless sea of suffering. This intention is endless, and my concept of sentient beings is endless."

The Asura priest, and indeed all of us Asuras, were consumed by delusion, a thirst for power, and jealousy throughout our lives. But the Asura priest realized the endless suffering within and transformed himself into my body.

Now, this former courtesan, a woman of the night, has also come to understand the Dharma.

When they are confused, that is me before I realize it; when they are clear-headed, that is me before I realize it.

Chu Mingkong breathed a sigh of relief; before he could even cry for help, a powerful figure had already arrived.

However, the conversation was too abstract, so it was better not to listen. He hated such ambiguous words.

"I can't say anything else, but to be able to come up with such a grand theory to justify your possession is truly a disservice. You could have just directly taken someone else's body. You really have the heart of a bodhisattva!"

Chu Mingkong remembered his previous plan: if he couldn't punish this goddess bodhisattva, then he would take action against her Wuxiangtian!

Now that the Asura King is present, that's perfect; let the Asura King deal with her.

His heart gushed forth black blood, half of which transformed into his armor and the other half into a giant python just thick enough for him to embrace.

The extremely yin aura spread with his appearance. Although it spread relatively slowly, the Wuxiang Heaven had already developed some unhealable wounds, like a small ant hole being gnawed into a solid and thick dam.

Chu Mingkong felt a little solemn:

"It was quite difficult to transform into the Extreme Abyss just now, and the Extreme Yin Power spread very slowly. There is clearly not much Extreme Yang Power here. How did you manage to do that?"

Liu Qingmei herself does not possess extreme Yang power, and although her "awakening" can bring her powerful strength out of thin air, it does not include extreme Yang power, which is good news for Chu Mingkong.

But his hopes were dashed rather quickly.

The clouds in the sky dispersed, revealing the true face of the towering Bodhisattva statue whose face had been hidden. A branch appeared in its hand.

The dew on the branches trembled, and droplets of extreme yang energy dripped into the Wuxiang Heaven, fighting against the hole created by Chu Mingkong, seemingly showing signs of patching up the leak.

"Looks like we'll have to get rid of those trees." Chu Mingkong's gaze fell on the extremely yang aura.

The goddess bodhisattva had not completely ignored Chu Mingkong's side, but she was too busy to deal with his nonsense. Her bodhisattva eyes were fixed on the Asura King.
