Each dragon learns its own knowledge and skills from a dragon priest, but their different races and customs lead to vastly different experiences. Just as Christo is racking his brains to complete as much work as possible in a limited time, the white dragon Poldris is floating on the sea, basking in the sun.

Poldris, now a sea dragon, had grown to thirty meters long. Several mermaids were cleaning his scales, and barnacles and starfish had become stowaways on his massive body. Poldris could manipulate the tides and purify the water, which made marine life always eager to inhabit his vicinity. Some symbiotic monsters were evolving under the stimulation of the dragon's aura. A single sea dragon was enough to cause the ocean to rise, and Poldris once again realized the meaning behind the White Dragon Priestess's words.

“Soon, you will become the largest deep-sea current, giving birth to your own school of fish. Poldris, tuna and sailfish, which do you prefer? I'll find some fry for you to raise.” Principes sat on his back, looking at the huge stone slab in Poldris's hand.

[Why not choose a school of predator fish like ghost sharks or narwhals? That would be so cool!] From the seadragon's cradlings, a mermaid holding a clean seaweed ball emerges from underwater, her bright eyes gazing at her leader.

[That would make the seawater murky and bloody, and those volatile creatures wouldn't be united.] Another mermaid leaped out of the water; her eyes were purplish-pink, and her teeth were serrated. She was currently crushing the barnacle shells and continuing to eat.

[And it doesn't taste good.] The bubbles rising from underwater have brought a new perspective.

“Most importantly, those sea beasts are too weak. We mermaids are the strongest race that follows the sea dragon. For Bohr, the power of the fish is negligible, but their meat is not. It’s good to carry snacks with you. Do you want this gluttonous giant to eat half of the mermaid race’s catch and then starve for half a month?” Priscilla turned her head to the side, and the sweeping cold wind condensed into frost on the water’s surface.

The mermaid who surfaced in the water shook her head frantically, then dived back down to continue working.

[The Queen is indeed terrifying.]

My mother is scary too, but the Queen is far more terrifying. No wonder she's the Queen, even though she's older than my mother!

"I heard it!!!" The Ice Queen's roar echoed in the sea.

Princess stared fiercely at the water's surface, and after twenty seconds, she spat out a string of snowflakes into the air.

“They weren’t this lively before…I’m not complaining!”

Poldris smiled gently, and a warm, damp breeze blew down his body onto the white dragon priest. He looked at the stone slab and spoke to his childlike mentor.

"Should we bring Lyle to Moshui? My blessing allows a mortal to access the deep sea unharmed. That's probably what Father meant when he gave us the Immelt tablets. We can ask Lyle for help."

"Need help from Lyle? What's wrong with you? Why didn't you tell me?!"

“It’s not my problem, it’s Vina’s.” Poldris raised his left wing, the water droplets he kicked up drawing a rainbow in the air. “We can create trouble for ourselves and give Vina a chance to get close to Lyle. I think that would be much more interesting than me taking her to race the flying fish.”

"Let me think about it some more, little Paul."

"Ah."

“You are a gentle big kid, Boldris.”

“I am Moshu’s guardian, it is my duty.”

Princess sighed.

"What are your thoughts on the [Red Dragon Queen] mentioned in the text, Guardian?"

"Hmm... Shall we take in some water elemental refugees? They must be having a tough time right now."

"Your brothers and sisters are ruling like kings, and you're here doing charity work?!"

“But I am a sea dragon, Priscilla. I prefer to stay in the water. My brothers and I don’t need to fight.”

"Then let the ocean engulf the land, and let all land cities become Atlantis!!!"

“…Should I inform Mr. Morokoy or Mr. Omhead to keep an eye on you? Your idea is a bit dangerous, Principes…”

"It's all because of your unambitious, nice-natured personality!! It's driving me crazy!"

Dragon priests and dragons have many disagreements, but not all of them are.

On the desert, a craggy stone slab blocks the wind and sand.

The small, thin figure looked up at the stone slab, where the soil, rocks, and yellow sand were fixed in place, or more accurately, pressed into the ground by a violent force.

“Arcalon, Immelt, the Red Dragon Queen…”

Black, sharp dragon claws gripped the top of the stone slab, and the dragon's eldest son's soaring aura unleashed a fierce sandstorm. Alcalon laughed.

“Imelt, this really excites me, another opponent…”

Omhead looked up at his student with satisfaction, his tone carrying a hint of deliberate sarcasm.

"The Red Dragon now has a fanatical army of dwarves and a fire elemental legion that nearly flattened the elemental plane. Aren't you worried?"

“Worry…no,” a resounding dragon roar descended from the sky, shattering the sandstorm, “I am the firstborn son, I was born to be king. I am confident that I can surpass my brothers and sisters, and I am confident that my people can surpass them.”

"I have high expectations for the power of those primordial humans who wielded ancient powers."

"Omhead, what did you call them again?"

"The Trampler? The Berserker?"

"Oh, and dragon slayers too."

Chapter 644 Okangas

Evolution is an essential ability for the survival of normal life. The world is ever-changing, and the Creator grants even the smallest creatures the ability to glimpse greatness. The strong prey on the weak, and only the fittest survive. But the strength referred to here is not strength in a narrow, literal sense, but rather a powerful ability to adapt to change and new environments.

The powerful consumers at the top of the food chain are usually fewer in number than the producers at the bottom. This is an inevitable result of energy transfer and nutrient storage, a rule governing the normal functioning of the world. A single realm can only have one ruler, because the world can only provide the power to support one ruler. This rule also applies to the mystical realm. The dragons of the past were powerful and robust, and it is difficult for modern humans to recreate that ancient, savage glory. In fact, without the divine light descending from the heavens, the power system of this era would still be like that of the dragon age, with only a small portion at the top of the pyramid wielding the power.

Great power requires material support.

The wise saw the truth behind the maintenance of power, and they grasped a new way of life. The magic network connected every individual, preserving them as a whole—this was the collective power that spellcasters believed in.

Some foolish old fogies are stuck in the past, adhering to outdated beliefs, and they actually do it.

Saharzaen, the Node of the Earth. A birthing ground for monsters, a cradle of life, the breast of the Earth Mother. This mystical land, crafted by the black dragon priest Ormhead, is like an arrogant and unrestrained black dragon, greedily plundering all the energy and nourishment around it. This mysterious land draws life force from the surrounding areas, creating a vast, boundless desert, while the concentrated energy resides in every blade of grass and every drop of dew in Saharzaen.

Without regard to energy loss, all life in Saharzaen evolves towards the ultimate power. Giant beasts and demons unleash their savage, primal power in this land of life, and bloody hunts unfold on every inch of Saharzaen's soil. In this primeval jungle shrouded in blood, the sun's radiance bears witness to every display of power.

At the apex of this bountiful land, at the top of the complex food chain, once stood a true monster.

The Black Dragon Familia, ancient humans, were a powerful race capable of unleashing their ultimate strength, standing at the top of the food chain. However, even the long development of this race had its end. At that time, the ancient tribe led by Ormhead had reached the pinnacle of Sahazam, with no way forward. The development of the ancient race had reached the limit of Sahazam, and the once invincible Black Dragon Familia entered a period of stagnation in power.

Omhead had planned this all along, but his plans were thwarted by the other dragon priests. During the development of the Dragon Priest Council, each clan had its own development plan, and their dragon-like arrogance clearly meant they hadn't considered the others.

Ormhead once proposed a plan for an ultimate place, which would allow the Earth Nodes to directly extract the life force of this planet, turning all areas except Sahazane into dead lands, concentrating all the essence of life in one place, and using the power of the world to nourish his powerful kin.

It sounds quite ruthless, but in reality, the dragon priests at the time had all made similar plans. Atlantis, which Princess mentioned, was not a joke. Freheimer also had a plan to have the elemental planes invade the world, and even Irason... at least before Irason went mad, he also had a plan to put the planet to slumber.

The former leaders of their time, the Dragon Priests, were no pushovers. Yet, the scholar became their leader, and the Magic Web Project became the only major project to be recognized and successfully implemented. Even now, the plan is a watered-down version; the Blue Dragon Priests' initial plan was to strip away the flesh and blood of all races, transforming the power of life into pure magic to form an eternal magic web, turning the entire planet into a mass of magical power. Then the Holy Light appeared, shattering their proud backbone.

"My people are bathed in dragon blood. The black dragon Omheid is the only dragon we have ever slain. The title 'dragon slayer' is inaccurate. The true dragon slayer is only the one who nearly prevented your birth." Omheid corrected Alcalon's statement. He had his own honor, but he never considered killing his mentor for the continuation of his race as an honor. After the fall of their dragon father, the ancient humans fought a battle with the black dragon, inflicting the death of a warrior upon their dragon.

Alcaron sneered, revealing sharp teeth in a sinister grin. "I crave worthy opponents, and if my kin are powerful enough to kill me, that would be even better."

Omhead was very satisfied with Alcalon's fearless, battle-crazed personality.

"I murdered my teacher, but I don't intend to annihilate my students. They won't disappoint you, as long as you cooperate with me. Those cowards abandoned by the times and by me need some thrilling excitement."

……

The cowhide curtain, billowing in the wind and sand, pattered against the tent, its drumming sound drowning out the sound of breathing within the solemn tent. The tribal leader squatted on a fur rug, the pungent smell of the fur, heated by the hearth fire, filling the tent with an uneasy atmosphere. Ma En sat in the corner of the leader's tent, clutching a pottery jar, watching the tribal elders and leader discuss matters.

Maen wouldn't normally have had the chance to participate in the meeting of adult hunters, but now that he's the tribe's wargear master, the topic of conversation happens to be related to him.

“We are going to our deaths, Okangas. Three warriors have already been seriously wounded during the hunt.”

"Did you see that monster's fangs? Those teeth are sharper than the best spears we have!"

"And this is before we even set foot in that deathly green! If we go any deeper, we'll suffer heavy casualties!"

This savage tribe, guided by the mysterious shaman Omro, is advancing towards Sahazane. The increasingly terrifying beasts and enemies keep all the warriors on edge, their bodies adorned with battle markings, filled with apprehension. They have indeed gained more, but also face greater dangers. After three warriors were severely wounded in their joint hunt for the Sickle-toothed Giant Wolf, their pent-up resentment and fear led them to confront their leader.

The tribal leader wore a giant deer skull mask that obscured his face. Beneath the animal hide, granite-like muscles supported his towering frame. He was the strongest and most composed of them all. The chieftain of the savage tribe was also its most powerful hunter; it was his bone spear that delivered the fatal blow to the monster. Okangas held immense prestige within the tribe, and he also possessed a wisdom rarely seen in barbarians.

"But we've also become stronger. Two months ago, we couldn't have hunted such powerful prey. The shaman gave us the strength to survive, and you have all received his blessings."

“Then let him guide us to a better path, instead of sending us to our deaths. Sahazam, that’s the land of death passed down from our ancestors. What is that mad shaman thinking?”

The heated argument was almost one-sided, with several of the hunters opposing further approach to Sahazain, a minority remaining silent, and the tribal leader sharing the same opinion as Ma'en.

The two held high expectations for the mysterious Omro.

"Enough!" Okangas' fist slammed into the ground, creating a crater, and the arguing fell silent under the leader's anger. Everyone remained calm, waiting for what was to come.

"Ma En, where did you put the wolf meat we hunted earlier?"

“At Granny Tomo’s place, they are dismembering and processing the wolf carcass.”

Okangas scanned everyone.

“I delivered the fatal blow to that beast, and according to the rules, I have the right to deal with my prey.” He stood up and gestured for everyone to follow. “You are the strongest warriors of the tribe, you are the foundation of this tribe’s survival. I need your strength, and I need your support for my decision.”

"Those who are afraid of death can leave the hunting party, but the brave warriors can come with me."

"That shaman is the tribe's hope, even if that hope is slim, or even if it could lead to our destruction."

"The blood of my ancestors flowing through my veins tells me that nothing can stop me from embarking on the path to power."

"Whether it's cowardice or death."

Chapter 645 Ancient Humans

The sandstorm from the northwest had just ended, and this place was already on the edge of Sahazane. Along a certain invisible boundary line, the sand and dust in the air seemed to encounter a barrier, obediently piling up on the other side. This ancient land expressed its mystery to all, and to the barbarian tribes of Okangas, this mystery was more like the roar of a dangerous beast asserting its status. Beneath the green of Sahazane lay blood and death, lurking there, watching these exiles with a hungry gaze.

The air was filled with an exciting, sweet, and pungent smell, a constant reminder of the horror of this place. It was undoubtedly the right choice for their ancestors to flee from this land of death, and now they were taking foolish actions.

Marne occupied a peculiar position in the group. Okangas walked ahead, carrying a massive wolf carcass on his back. The prey's limbs, bones, and tendons had been severed, and its previously dissected abdominal cavity had been sewn back together with straw rope, turning it into a large food pouch. A fist-sized hole pierced the back of the wolf's skull, said to be the mark of the leader's spear piercing its brain, a fatal blow. The stench of blood mixed with herbs emanated from that hole, causing Marne to swallow hard.

The prey was enough for ten warriors to share, a rare treasure for the impoverished tribe. "The leader is indeed a leader." This thought crossed the young man's mind. Maen strongly supported Okangas's idea, but like the others, he felt it was unnecessary.

Behind Ma'en followed about twenty strong tribal warriors, the entire fighting force of the tribe. Not one of them withdrew; no one in the tribe wanted to be called a coward, but most of them didn't look optimistic.

The tribe has already entered the edge of Sahazaen, and the tribe has officially stepped into the food chain of killing and survival. At this point, fleeing to that desert would only lead to a slow death, and the road ahead faces unimaginable and terrifying survival trials.

This was a more agonizing predicament than enduring hardship in the wilderness, but at some point, this fleeing and dodging tribe began to undergo some subtle psychological changes.

Faced with a hopeless, life-or-death situation, anger was squeezed from their hearts, from their blood, as if drums of war were beating. This tribe had endured decades of wild, arduous wandering, and they had had enough.

This irrational anger drove the tribesmen to follow their leader and offer precious food to the mysterious shaman who might bring disaster to the tribe.

They then realized that the mysterious shaman and this ancient land had many things in common, and wondered whether he brought salvation or destruction. This thought silenced everyone; the chaotic procession, though disorganized, possessed a certain pilgrimage-like quality.

The frail "priest" sat atop a small mound, his hunched figure struggling even to lift his head. His tattered black robes, like natural stains, stood out starkly against the vibrant lawn of Sahazane. Omro sat there silently, seemingly lost in thought for a long time, his numb gaze unfocused, as if he had become one with the land.

boom!

The sound of Okangas slamming the wolf's carcass to the ground brought the old shaman back to his senses. Omro glanced casually at the wolf's corpse beside him, then at Okangas and the warriors behind him.

"food?"
