Prejudice and discrimination stem from the contradiction between arrogance that does not belong to oneself and inferiority that belongs only to oneself. This is a disease that does nothing to help oneself and may even hinder overall development. From God's perspective, it is just a disease, or a defect that should be eliminated, something insignificant yet strangely left behind.
The capital city, Millennium, revels in this disease and takes pride in this defect.
“I said… maybe I should be banging on the door like crazy right now, but that feels incredibly stupid, so could we skip a few steps?” Li Yili turned to look at the door, spreading her arms to the sides. “If you think locking me up here will intimidate those guys, I suggest you save your breath.”
"One of them will openly laugh at you."
"One of them would be very polite, but would only be laughing at you in their heart."
"There's another one... to be honest, I don't know if she's just an empty shell or something else."
……
The silent moment made Li Yili unable to resist putting her hands on her hands.
He put his hands on his hips, lowered his head, and sighed deeply.
"Really? ...I'm not going to play this game with you guys..."
Before Li Yili could finish speaking, the tightly closed door creaked open, light seeped into the darkness, and a man with a refined smile, wearing a feather shawl, appeared in Li Yili's field of vision.
“Hello—Mr. Yellow Raincoat, my name is, by the way, you can call me Yuri, the executive officer in charge of the Millennium Security Force in the capital,” the man chuckled, chin in hand. “But for you, what we are called is a boring thing that you don’t need to remember.”
"Yuri? Heh heh... What's your relationship with Harry?"
Li Yili spread her arms to the sides, and in the darkness slightly penetrated by light, Penny and Grey silently appeared, with two lamps flickering with a faint glow.
"I quite like the gifts he gave me."
“Really? I’m glad you like it,” Yuri said, flicking his finger. Orange lights flashed one by one, completely dispelling the darkness. “Actually, I’ve always wanted to talk to you in person, but now it seems…”
“There seems to be absolutely no need for communication now,” Li Yili tilted her head, and Grey and Penny were silently swallowed by the viscous liquid.
“Of course, there’s absolutely no need for so much unnecessary and insecure behavior. The moment I saw you, I was certain that what Harry said was true, and that we’ve found the right direction,” Yuri shrugged, his tone incredibly relaxed and carefree, as if a weight had finally been lifted from his chest.
“That’s quite an interesting statement. Where did you get that idea from?” Li Yili spread her hands to her sides.
“The fact that you’re standing here calmly without taking any action is the best proof,” Yuri said, stepping aside with his hands behind his back.
"If we were going the wrong way, you wouldn't be all slacking off, and you wouldn't be paying any attention to those two security guards' pointless antics... right?"
Chapter 125 What color burlap sack do you like?
After leaving behind that meaningful remark, Yuri left without looking back, as if he had only come to open a door and let Li Yili out, who could have left on her own.
Li Yili's eyebrows twitched as she stood in the windowless room.
He was annoyed by Yuri's tone and even more annoyed by Yuri's piercing gaze. To put it simply, he was a little furious, but he couldn't just yell like a goblin and rush over to hit Yuri on the back of the head.
Li Yili sighed deeply, pinched her neck, and left the house that had imprisoned countless people. She found a relatively conspicuous spot not far from the gate, leaned against a gas lamp, crossed her arms, and waited for Rebecca and the others while gazing at the most prosperous city in the wasteland, known as the Millennium Capital.
The area is vibrant yet healthy, with a perfect blend of greenery and technology. You can directly experience the vibrancy while also enjoying the fresh air. Although the air in the Cretaceous Circle, which is closer to nature, is also fresh, some areas still have a distinctive animal odor due to the proximity. However, Millennium Park does not have this smell.
Perhaps it was Yuri's words, "But for you, what we are called is just a boring thing that you don't need to remember," that left a crack in a certain membrane in his heart, and what was hidden inside was revealed. The residents of the Millennium or the merchants from the Cretaceous Circle walking among them were not within Li Yili's observation range, just like background boards that did not need to be cared about.
"Mr. Yellow Raincoat, are you alright?"
Ashley's concerned voice drew Li Yili's attention back to her.
“Ah, thankfully, just like they said, it was just a simple check, a quick search of the pockets and that was it,” Li Yili said, putting one hand on her hip and smiling at Ashley. “So I came out first.”
"Really? They really just went through your pockets?" Ashley covered her mouth, looking surprised. "I've been hearing some not-so-good rumors."
After thinking for a moment, Li Yili raised a finger, closed her left eye, and smiled mysteriously.
"I am Mr. Yellow Raincoat."
Ashley blinked and then suddenly realized, interlocking her fingers in front of her, her beautiful eyes sparkling as if little stars were dancing in them.
"Wow, wow, wow—that's amazing! You actually did it! Oh, right! It's a secret, right? Hmm, I won't ask any more questions!"
Looking at the innocent Ashley in front of her, Li Yili grinned.
The oppressive Ashley he had imagined was just his delusion.
"Hey...you're completely unharmed? I thought you'd get a sack over your head by those two guards and get a beating," Rebecca said, glancing up and down at Li Yili with her hands behind her head.
“That’s true. Be careful tonight,” Li Yili said with a bright smile, patting Rebecca’s shoulder and pulling her close. Her smile grew even brighter. “Don’t say I’m not giving you human rights. Go pick out a burlap sack you like later.”
"Ugh—well, I don't like sacks," Rebecca said, her hands slowly falling to her sides as she gave an awkward laugh.
“Okay, let’s skip the sack thing then,” Li Yili said, gripping Rebecca’s shoulders tightly and turning to look at Annie and Ashley. “Speaking of which, it’s already the millennium. Do you have any specific plans? You’re not planning on going shopping or anything like that, are you?”
Anne just pinched her chin and didn't say anything, while Ashley put her hands on her hips, leaned forward, and bulged out.
"Mr. Yellow Raincoat, do you have a problem with shopping?"
"Hmm? I don't have any objections, I just feel..." Li Yili raised her head and smiled brightly, "It's a bit of a waste of time. Or is it that Miss Ashley is lacking something right now?"
“Well… shopping isn’t just about buying things; it’s mainly about building relationships and friendships,” Ashley said, gesturing awkwardly, not expecting Li Yili to be so straightforward.
"Hmm? Miss Ashley, is our friendship so thin that it needs to be cultivated?"
"Of course not!"
“Then why bother with deliberate training?” Li Yili emphasized the word “deliberately”.
“Of course it wasn’t intentional cultivation, it was just to slightly elevate our pure friendship,” Ashley began to ramble under Li Yili’s relentless barrage.
“But Miss Ashley likes Dante, doesn’t she? And I don’t want to commit a crime…” The profit chain grinned and moved closer to Miss Ashley, but his face gradually darkened, and Ashley’s expression became more and more guilty.
Feeling guilty, Ashley looked around before her gaze finally settled on Rebecca, and her eyes lit up. "Then why don't you and Miss Rebecca take your relationship to the next level?"
"Eh……"
Li Yili and Rebecca leaned back in perfect unison, revealing the same expression of disgust.
"There can only be physical desire between us."
"The thought of so-called love between us makes me feel nauseous."
Li Yili and Rebecca took turns attacking Ashley, forcing her to retreat steadily. Ashley wanted to refute them, but didn't know where to begin. Finally, she looked to Annie for help.
Annie crossed her arms and shook her head helplessly. "Their skill level is too high."
"Goo-"
Ashley hung her head in utter frustration.
"That's the gist of it. You guys go shopping by yourselves. I'll wander around... And you, don't let your guard down. I didn't bring you here to have fun."
After saying that, Li Yili raised her knee and bumped Rebecca's butt, then turned around, waved, and disappeared into the crowd.
"What's wrong with you? Can't you be a little gentler?" Rebecca rubbed her bottom and stuck out her tongue in the direction where Li Yili disappeared.
"Um... Miss Rebecca, would you like to... go shopping?" Ashley looked at Rebecca with a pitiful expression, her fingers intertwined.
“Me? I just need to fill my stomach,” Rebecca rubbed her stomach and sniffed around. “I have a feeling… there’s a lot of good food here.”
Ashley blinked, then cheered and grabbed Rebecca's arm. "Of course!"
Anne's eye twitched.
Hopefully, the delicious food Rebecca is referring to isn't people.

Headquarters of the Millennium Steam and Steel God Cult in the Capital.
Yuri, holding his shawl and smiling at Rhea, slowly walked into the cathedral. The cathedral, which used to be packed with people, now only had a few executives left.
"how is the situation?"
“It’s better than expected. Just like they said, the King in Yellow hasn’t made any move,” Yuri adjusted his glasses. “Although we shouldn’t speculate on their thoughts, I don’t want to miss the truth.”
“The truth is right before us, and we are about to build the right ideal,” Yuri said, opening his arms toward the [Prophecy Algorithm], which was playing a symphony of civilization like a piano.
"It's about time to begin."
Chapter 126 The Desolate Gap
Puss pulled up his cowboy hat, looked around to make sure there were no homeless people nearby, and then breathed a sigh of relief. He relaxed his movements and, as if he needed to urinate urgently, naturally wandered into the alley.
Pus glanced down at his watch, took a deep breath, and carefully made his way forward, holding onto the wall for support. He stopped near the alley's exit and slowly looked up. The towering, cloud-piercing city wall, which was like a backdrop to the residents of the Triple Circle, now had an incredibly glaring gap. Although a wooden frame had been erected, it still couldn't block out the outside world.
Not a single weed could be seen, only an endless expanse of desolate cement road.
Even after seeing the outside world, Puss felt no longing whatsoever; in fact, he felt a sense of fear. How would he survive on this desolate concrete road, where not a drop of water or a blade of grass could be found? Nebelungen and Eden were merely legendary places of habitation for the inhabitants of the Triassic Circle. Where they were, how long it would take to get there, and how they would survive were all unknowns.
Puss let out a long breath, his eyes wide as he scanned the boxes piled around the gap, trying hard to remember their patterns and locations.
There's still some time before sunset, and dangerous items like weapons certainly wouldn't be placed in such an obvious place so early. It's most likely a very high-stakes transaction. Just thinking about leading his men to search through the boxes one by one like thieves makes Puss feel incredibly stupid. What if he takes the wrong box because he's nervous? And when the construction team comes and opens the box the next day, the scene is too beautiful for Puss to imagine.
Puss stared for a while, then lowered his head, took out a notebook from his pocket, and marked the location of all the boxes in the direction of the gap. Although the boxes were drawn crookedly, he wrote down the keywords for each one.

After finishing, Pus checked the direction of the gap again to make sure he could spot any other boxes at a glance before closing the notebook and making his way back along the alley.
But on his way back to Diagon Alley, Puss ran into Ryan and his crew.
Puss narrowed his eyes, his right hand fingers slightly extended, aiming at the revolver holstered on his thigh.
"May I ask what brings you here?"
He remembered that even before this damned homeless revolution began, Ryan had never hung around Diagon Alley.
“Hey, hey, hey—Mr. Justice, isn’t this the neighborhood? Why can’t we come here?” Ryan grinned. “Every inch of this land belongs to the Wasteland Royal Family, and they promised freedom and equality.”
"Really? Do you think Earl Wilson and his nephew would stand up for you?" Puss drew his revolver and pointed it at Ryan, tilting his head slightly. "I don't care, but take my advice: what you want, what you're enjoying right now, you have to be alive to enjoy, right?"
Ryan put his hands on his hips, shook his head helplessly, and looked up at her with a sarcastic tone, "Righteous sheriff, right sheriff! You should take a look in the mirror and see what you look like now. You have absolutely nothing to do with freedom and equality."
“A bastard’s insults are one of the best compliments for justice,” Puss shrugged.
He didn't intend to waste any more words with Ryan; he just wanted to get rid of Ryan as soon as possible with the gun in his hand.
Whatever Ryan wants to do in Diagon Alley, it's definitely not something good.
"Alright, you bastard Ryan, you can—"
Puss held his breath, his eyes widening slightly, his pupils reflecting the shotgun in Ryan's hand.
“Hmm? Sir, your expression seems a little off,” Ryan pretended to look around in confusion before looking down at the shotgun in his hand. He suddenly realized and his smile turned extremely wicked. “Oh—that’s what it is. Don’t feel inferior. Sir, in front of big guys, little guys are often scared off.”
Puss's eye twitched violently.
“Oh, right, righteous sheriff, where were we? Ah, right, whatever you want, whatever you enjoy, the prerequisite is to live, right? I think that makes a lot of sense, but there’s one thing that’s different,” Ryan smirked, slowly swinging the shotgun in his hand, “If you shoot me here, it’s a crime, but if I shoot you, well, it’s just desperate self-defense, you know, homeless people are outnumbered…”
