"And have you considered one possibility..."

Ips's deep gaze sent a chill down Austin's spine.

"Bishop Azawi chose to collaborate with Levi Ist. Richard for their experiments?"

------

Li Yili stood whistling in front of the city gate of Thorn City. The path they had cleared to enter was now covered and filled with crisscrossing thorns. The thorn inhabitants, moving with strange movements, were slowly approaching them along the thorns.

Li Yili did not immediately approach the Thorn City gate, which was filled with thorns. Instead, she turned to face Vera the Spider, who had been following them from a distance, and held Nakya in her arms in a very proper princess-like manner.

“Princess Nakya, if you don’t mind, could you please remove these two thorns first? As you can see, I’m just an ordinary person. To be honest, my legs are already weak. Even if I wanted to break the contract, I don’t have the strength to run out.”

To show her sincerity, Li Yili bent down and placed Nakya's body on the ground, raising her hands above her head with incredibly slow movements.

“Princess Nakya, if you’re still worried… you can let this guy out first,” Li Yili said with a smile, pointing to Abel, who was holding a golden spindle.

All the inhabitants of the Thorns turned to look at Abel at the same time.

Without a doubt, the most threatening figure here is this youngest candidate of the Crusade.

Abel's eye twitched violently, but he didn't make any move.

“What, are you reluctant to let me go? The future is already decided, sir. Although it’s a bit late, I’m still happy for the friendship we have,” Li Yili shrugged at Abel. “But as you can see, your departure is key to me gaining Princess Nakya’s trust. Of course, don’t go too far away, I’m afraid.”

Abel took a deep breath and turned to walk toward the city gate covered in thorns.

The thick thorns began to loosen, but the residents of Thorn City, who were clinging to the thorns, quickly crawled forward a long way, clearly on guard against Abel.

Li Yili, with her arms folded behind her head, leisurely squatted down in Nakya.

One side of the body.

Chapter Ninety-Four: Can you feel my overflowing sincerity?

Because Li Yili was very cooperative and sincere, she cleared a fairly wide path through the thorns blocking the city gate for Abel to pass through. However, Abel did not leave the city of thorns, but stopped halfway through, with his arms crossed.

Li Yili was somewhat surprised. Her gaze lingered on the golden spindle in Abel's right hand for a moment before she turned to look at Vera, the spider who was guarding not far away, still holding up her forelimbs and web.

"Princess Nakya, can you feel my overflowing sincerity?"

The pristine white spiderweb trembled slightly, and a new line of text appeared on it.

Wait a minute.

Li Yili glanced out of the corner of her eye and noticed that several residents of the Thorn Forest who had already come over had turned back.

There's only one possibility for this: the Thorn Princess sensed his sincerity and felt that the ancient divine legacy she had chosen was somewhat inadequate, so she decided to choose something else.

Rather than being naive, it's more accurate to say that the lack of complex emotions makes them seem somewhat straightforward.

Soon, several residents of Thorn City returned, and a white object crashed down in front of Li Yili.

This thing has a smooth surface and several holes in its cross-section, much like a lotus root, but overall it gives him a soft, fleshy feeling, and its size and length make it look like someone's umbilical cord.

Li Yili felt a little nauseous, but Abel's eyes widened as if he had seen something utterly unbelievable, and he subconsciously murmured, "It was actually hidden here..."

Li Yili quickly turned her head to look at Abel.

That expression...it's a good thing!

Li Yili quickly bent down, picked up the lotus root umbilical cord, and stuffed it into her pocket. She stood up and gave an awkward bow. "Princess Nakya, your generosity is beyond my imagination. I wonder if there is anything I can do to help you, such as helping you take revenge on the people of Aipo."

Abel was starting to lose his composure.

To say something like helping Nakya take revenge on Aipo in front of him, a candidate for the executive officer of the Cross Expedition, was somewhat disrespectful to him. Even if Li Yili was just saying some polite words to flatter Nakya, if Nakya, the princess of Eden, agreed, the matter would change from the minister of the Black Goat's cubs wanting to attack the capital of Eden to a power struggle within the Eden royal family.

There's no need for that.

Li Yili exclaimed, bowed slightly to the Vera Spider in front of her, raised her hands above her head, and slowly backed away, saying, "This was an unforgettable encounter, but it's a pity that it has to end so hastily."

Because Li Yili and Nakya had distanced themselves from each other, the residents of Thorn City who were lying on the thorns slowly withdrew and surrounded Nakya, who was lying peacefully asleep on the ground. Vera Spider shook her forelegs and tore off her web, thus ending the conversation.

Li Yili, who had already retreated to Abel's side, seemed oblivious to Nakya's indifference. Like a passionate and persistent poet, she reached out her left hand towards Nakya's body, her thumb, adorned with a black thumb ring, slightly bent.

“Oh—my beautiful Princess Nakya, I am captivated by your beauty, but alas, I cannot remain in this Thorn City—”

Perhaps feeling nauseous at Li Yili's sweet talk, Vera, who was about to move Nakya, raised her forelegs and began to weave a new web. But before she could start weaving words on the web, Nakya, who was sleeping peacefully, suddenly sat up, her silver-white hair dancing in the starlight.

All the residents of Thorn City froze in place, staring blankly at Nakya as she rose under the starlight.

"Snapped--"

Vera's spiderwebs snapped one by one between her forelegs, while Nakya, clutching her tattered veil, turned and strode toward the exit of Thorn City. At first glance, it seemed as if the princess, whose heart had been imprisoned, had finally been moved by Li Yili's passionate call and decided to abandon everything to wander the world with the romantic people.

But in reality, Nakya was still fast asleep with her eyes closed, only her body began to move under the drive of a force.

Realizing what was happening, Vera the Spider let out a shrill scream. The skin of all the Thorn Dwellers around her quickly dried up, and giant spiders tore through the skin of the Thorn Dwellers and charged toward Nakia. Nakia raised her seemingly soft arm and waved it upwards. The spider that was blocking Nakia's [elopement] path was instantly spun and flew backwards, colliding with the thorns that were swept down.

Abel's eyes widened, while Li Yili clapped her hands with a smile, "Amazing! No wonder it's the perfect body in the eyes of the Thorn King, no wonder it took so long!"

Nakya's seemingly frail and petite body suddenly burst forth with astonishing speed as she lunged into Li Yili's arms, hoisted Li Yili onto her shoulder, and dodged the rubble crushed by the thorns as she rushed toward the exit.

"The future is set, sir, you can run! My dear friend, if you get caught, I will risk my life to save you!"

Li Yili immediately raised her hand and waved to Abel, who was still standing there in a daze.

Abel's lips twitched violently; he could clearly feel the gaze of the enormous creature above him fixed on him.

After he is arrested, will Li Yili risk her life to save him?

You know nothing!

Abel turned around abruptly, swept away all the falling pebbles, and chased straight towards the exit.

"Oh, oh, oh—the future is already decided, sir. Your determination not to be a burden to me is truly touching. If you were to…"

Li Yili, who was being carried by Nakya, raised her hand to pat her, but before she could finish speaking, she felt a sharp pain in her head. Nakya, who was carrying her, suddenly went limp and fell forward. The two of them fell directly out of the Thorn City gate. Unfortunately, Li Yili became a human cushion, but luckily, Nakya was not very heavy.

Before Li Yili could figure out what was going on, she heard a soft voice.

"Son of a bitch--"

The princess, who had been sleeping soundly on his chest, opened her silvery-white eyes. All she could think of to express her anger was the word "bastard."

Good morning, Princess Nakya.

Nakya twisted her body with difficulty, her slender fingers digging into the ground like sharp blades, struggling to drag herself toward the Thorn Gate.

"We must... hurry... go back..."

Li Yili blinked, realized what was happening, and immediately stood up, letting out a sinister laugh. Nakya felt a chill run down her spine and, without even turning her head, sped up her crawling. However, she had not completely returned to her own body, nor had she completely severed the control from Li Yili's ring. Therefore, in Li Yili's eyes, her crawling speed was as slow as a snail's pace.

Li Yili smiled, shook her head, bent down, and grabbed Nakya's slender ankle.

"Princess Nakya, now that you're out of this door, don't even think about—Holy crap—that's some strength—the future is already decided, sir! Do me a favor!"

Li Yili, her face flushed, gripped Nakya's ankle tightly, her feet digging directly into the ground.

The withered King of Thorns, standing before the gates of Thorn City, extended his right hand toward Nakya. Just as the father and daughter were about to grasp each other's hands, Abel stepped out from the side and stomped on the King of Thorns' neck, snapping his withered head to the side.

"boom--"

The Thorn Gate collapsed, burying all the giant spiders.

Nakya's silvery-white eyes began to close uncontrollably. At the last moment before her vision was cut off, Nakya turned her head to look at Li Yili, who was clinging tightly to her leg.

"You give me—remember this—"

Chapter Ninety-Five: Her Body is Contaminated

Li Yili raised his hand to wipe the sweat from his forehead. Nakya looked so frail, but she climbed up just a couple of times with more strength than an ox. His hands were still sore.

"You'd better remember this? This isn't something a proper princess should say!"

Li Yili glanced at Nakya, who was sleeping peacefully on the ground, sneered, and then lifted Nakya's buttocks up with both hands, before slapping her.

"Trying to scare me? Do you think I'm easily frightened?!"

Feeling much better, Li Yili gave Abel a thumbs up.

"The future is set, sir. I have a newfound respect for you. I never imagined you would kick your king in the head for my sake. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about this."

Abel's eye twitched. "I really don't understand, are you genuinely thanking me or threatening me?"

“I guess so. After all, there are some things I hope you can keep secret,” Li Yili said, reaching out to wrap her arms around Nakya’s slender waist and lifting her up.

"Hey—in this atmosphere, the Sole Ruler wouldn't be planning to take Princess Eden away right in front of me, the executive officer of the Crusade, would he?"

“It’s Nakya’s body. Don’t worry, Nakya isn’t inside.” Li Yili’s hand, which was wrapped around Nakya’s waist, slid up and circled Nakya’s chest. Her right hand pinched Nakya’s dirty face and shook it from side to side.

Li Yili's reckless behavior made Abel feel terrible, and he subconsciously reached out to pull Nakya away from Li Yili's arms.

"Hey—don't you think this is making things worse? Hurry up and release it—"

"Snapped--"

A crisp sound rang out between Abel and Li Yili. Abel glanced at his right hand, then turned his head and looked at Nakya, who was holding up her arm in Li Yili's arms, with an incredulous expression.

"Look, she refused."

Li Yili blinked, her eyes clear, while Nakya, whom Li Yili was holding, raised her slender arms and hugged Li Yili's neck.

"You see, she likes me a lot."

If Nakya hadn't closed her eyes, Abel probably would have truly believed it.

"Her eyes were even closed!"

As soon as Abel finished speaking, Nakya opened her eyes, her silvery-white eyes reflecting Abel's stiff face.

Abel took a deep breath and lowered his right hand. "How did you do that?"

"The future has already been decided, sir. Can you keep it a secret?"

“This…” Abel’s eyes flickered for a moment before his expression turned serious. “Although I don’t know what methods you used to control Princess Nakya’s body, do you think you can beat me with Princess Nakya’s body? Tell me the truth, and I’ll consider it based on what you say.”

Li Yili's eyes twitched violently, and she and Nakia struck a classic Giorno and Gold Experience pose. "Not bad, Mr. Future Determined. You've become much smarter than before. I think we can call you Mr. Promising Future" again.

“Speak, Mr. Sovereign,” Abel said, his right hand on his hip and his left hand hidden behind his back.

Rear.

"Alright, alright—Mr. Promising Future, do you know what the Thorn King is doing?" Li Yili shook her head helplessly, made Nakya stand on the ground, and then bent down slightly to gently wipe the dust off Nakya's face.

Li Yili's gentle and thoughtful actions prompted Abel to remark, "I never expected you to be so considerate."

"Of course, she's mine now. Even though she's all dirty, I prefer her dignified look. Ah, I'll definitely wash her clean properly after I get her dirty, don't worry."
