"Hmm?" Yuri's head was filled with countless question marks. Chito stepped out from the side. "It's probably not what you think. We also suddenly appeared here. We have no idea where this place is."

"I see. Well, let's leave the rest to Nigolan," the girl thought for a moment and found a solution. Then she looked at the group's soaked clothes and said, "Let's take a shower and change our clothes first."

"Okay, hurry up," William next to her sneezed a series of sneezes, and the others moved far away. Although Senju and the others didn't know what was going on, they should be able to find out where they were by following her.

After walking for a while, streetlights began to appear by the roadside. With the help of the lights, they could see many plants around them. Senju and the others looked around curiously. Soon, a two-story Western-style building appeared on the slope ahead.

“This is where you two take a bath,” the girl said, pointing to a room and addressing Senju and William. Then she looked at Yuri and the others. “Come with me to take a bath here.”

"Hey, can't we just shower together?" Yuri exclaimed from the side, while the girl next to her blushed. "No, H is wrong."

"What's H?" Yuri asked curiously, only to be angrily pushed aside by the girl. "Anyway, no way. You guys take a bath here."

After watching Yuri and the others leave, Senju and William exchanged a glance, feeling somewhat awkward. However, feeling their clothes were soaked, they went inside.

Inside, it was clearly a bathroom, with a huge bathtub against the wall, several potted plants around it, a non-slip carpet on the wooden floor, a dressing table, and, best of all, some spare clothes.

"Phew, this feels like a real bathroom," Senju said, looking at the row of toiletries laid out beside her, then glancing at William, who was shivering beside her. "You go take a shower first, I'll wait here for a while."

"Achoo!" William took off his clothes and started taking a shower. When he washed off the mud, Senju realized that he also had black hair and black eyes. "By the way, William, do you know where this is? A few of us suddenly fell from a very high place and then we ended up here."

“Ah, this is a secret military warehouse. I don’t know how you got here, but you can’t leave for now,” William said helplessly. Senju sighed after hearing this, “Yes, I didn’t expect it to be a secret military warehouse. It’s not easy to leave.”

“No, you misunderstood me. This is Floating Island No. 68. It’s very difficult for airships to come here,” William explained from the side. Then, Senju recalled the scene he had seen in the sky. “Is this really an island floating in the sky? I never imagined it was a world of magic.”

Chapter 209 The Beautiful Man-Eating Demon

“Hmm, it’s hard to believe, but we are definitely in the sky,” William said, turning his head curiously. He then saw Thousand Hands standing next to a pillar, with water constantly gushing out of it. Thousand Hands was washing the mud off his body from below.

"How many floating islands are there here? What's the principle behind them floating?" Senju asked curiously from the side. William decided to ignore the scene he had just witnessed. "I'm not quite sure either. I only know that there are many floating islands."

"Oh, these floating islands must be supported by some strange force, and people live on them," Senju imagined. "They feel like islands in the sky and sea. I never thought such a world of islands really existed!"

“Yes, this is a floating continental cluster,” William said.

He explained, then stared at the Senju for a moment, "Could you be from outside?"

"Outsiders? Could it be that there have been people from other worlds here before?" Senju fell into deep thought. Just as he was about to ask another question, he heard a knock at the door.

"They're coming right away," William called out, and the two quickened their pace, changing into the military uniforms beside them.

William pushed open the door and looked outside. Senju then noticed a mature older woman standing there, the epitome of a perfect wife. She was even taller than William, with light red hair, yellow-green eyes, and a white apron dress over a grass-green shirt. She stood in the doorway, looking at William expectantly.

William was taken aback when he saw her, and then tried to close the door, but the red-haired older sister stepped forward, grabbed his hand, and pulled him out. "Wow, long time no see, William. Welcome to the secret weapons depot."

The older sister looked at William, who was leaning against her, with great excitement. After looking him up and down for a while, she realized why she felt something was off. "Huh? Has he grown taller?"

"Why are you here, Nigolan?" William looked at the older sister who was only centimeters away from him with a displeased expression. Thousand Hands followed behind her. "William, is she someone you know?"

The red-haired older sister was excitedly explaining to William why she was there, "Why? It's obvious, isn't it? I work here. When I heard it from Greg, I was shocked. I never expected that you would be the one who was filmed."

"Could it be that the acquaintance that guy was talking about is you?!" William seemed quite angry as he watched the older sister excitedly twirling and dancing on the side, clenching his fist. "You actually tricked me, Greg."

Then he introduced her to the Thousand Hands next to him, "Nigolan, she's someone I used to know. Although she looks normal, she's a cannibal."

"A cannibal? William, you're not kidding, are you?" Thousand Hands chuckled dryly, then looked at the red-haired older sister clinging to William's back, acting all cute.

“Oh, I’m not as dangerous as you say,” Nigolan sniffed William for a while, then looked at Thousand Hands. “You’re the one Chtholly was talking about, huh? Niffler.”

She suddenly approached Senju and began asking about his scent, then looked at him with a puzzled expression, "What race are you? Why do you smell like a human?"

"What are you talking about?" Senju looked at her, took a few steps back in fear, and then looked at her. "Are you really a cannibal?"

“Of course,” Nigolan said, as if she had seen a similar expression many times before. She took a few steps back and started pestering William again. “Well, it’s probably William’s scent. But William, you’re getting more and more delicious.”

Seeing her excited expression, Thousand Hands whispered behind William, "William, could she be your...?"

"No way, I don't want to be put on the dinner table." William took a few steps back expressionlessly, then remembered the reason why he had ended up in this situation. "Grank, you just wait."

“You two are still on such good terms,” Nigolan teased William. “Oh, congratulations on your promotion, William Kermashu, Second Class Spellcraft Technician. You were promoted on the very day you received your military service. Your speed in rising to prominence is truly unprecedented.”

"Don't be ridiculous, this is just a title without substance. I'm a manager of a military facility, so I need to have a decent position," William said irritably. However, he decided that he would give Greg a good beating the next time he saw him.

Nigolan then looked at the Thousand Hands, "This young man, whose race I don't know, why don't you come over too? I have a few questions to ask you."

"Hmm," Senju said, becoming slightly wary. He wanted to figure out what was going on, so he followed the two into the small building next door.

Although Senju could tell from their conversation that this was a military facility, it had no military style at all. There were old wooden corridors, bright lights hanging on gray walls, and rooms with identical layouts. There were also some forms and notices with unclear meanings posted on the walls.

Walking down the corridor, their footsteps made a dull thud. After a while, the three of them arrived at a room with a small table and two sofas, as well as bookshelves, beds, and other miscellaneous items.

"Keep your voices down inside, everyone's asleep," Nigolan whispered to the two. William looked puzzled. "Everyone?"

“Hmm,” Nigolan seemed reluctant to elaborate, and after gesturing for the two to sit down, she began fiddling with the tea set. “But William, how much do you know about this warehouse?”

“Well, according to that guy Greg, this is a secret military weapons depot, and they need someone of non-characteristic race to manage it,” William simply stated what he knew.

“That’s true, just like Greg said. However, this warehouse is jointly operated by the Winged Army and the Orlando Chamber of Commerce,” Nigolan explained to William. “So even on the surface, it requires managers from both sides.”

“I’m from the Chamber of Commerce, and you’re the military’s manager,” Nigolan’s words didn’t surprise William in the slightest. “I already knew all that, so what are the specifics…”

“Wow, the uniform fits me perfectly,” Nigolan said, fiddling with the tea set, her eyes sparkling.

She stared at William with sparkling eyes, her mind seemingly wandering elsewhere. However, William was unmoved by the compliment, saying, "I actually find it too tight; I can hardly breathe."

“Oh dear, don’t say such hurtful things,” Nigolan said, noticing William’s apparent drooling. “The ingredients will greatly enhance the flavor of the dish.”

"!!" The Thousand Hands behind them looked at the two of them, not knowing whether they were flirting or not, but Nigoran's next words horrified him, "You look 20% tastier than before."

Chapter 210 Humanity is Still Destructive

“In other words, the danger to my life has increased by 20%,” William said expressionlessly to Nigolan, who looked hurt. “Oh dear, don’t you believe me? Didn’t I say before that even if I were a cannibal, you would be a rare delicacy? I won’t eat you now.”

Senju looked at Nigolan in disbelief upon hearing her words. "Are you really a cannibal? A man-eating monster?"

"Oh my, you really don't know anything? So cute," Nigoran seemed to want to hug Senju, who subconsciously stood up, then revealed her armor, took out an enchanted bow and aimed it at her. "That's really nice. I wonder what you'll drop?"

Seeing the changes in Senju, Nigoran was startled and stopped to look at Senju. "Wow, I didn't know you could use magic. Which warehouse are you from?"

“Although I don’t know what you’re talking about, I am a real human being,” Senju revealed his identity directly, then looked at Nigolan, “Therefore, everything that threatens humanity must be eliminated.”

“Alright, let’s not get into a fight,” William said, sitting on the sofa and watching the two of them. “Anyway, humanity is already extinct, so we don’t need heroes anymore.”

"What? Humans in this world have also gone extinct? Then what are you? You look like humans," Senju said warily, ready to attack at any moment.

“I am human, but you mentioned ‘also’?” William noticed the hint in Thousand Hands’ words. “Have humans in your world also become extinct?”

"Let's trust you for now. You don't seem to have any ill intentions," Senju put down his bow and sat down on the sofa on the other side. "In our world, not only humans, but almost all life has become extinct. Whether it's plants, animals, or microorganisms, everything has perished."

“So it’s pretty much the same as the ground world,” William thought to himself. “Has no one ever escaped the ground, like a floating island?”

"Well, nobody knows for sure. Maybe someone escaped in a spaceship," Senju said after thinking for a while. "But once they left Earth, it would be hard for them to survive for long."

“This is truly a disaster,” Nigolan said, seemingly filtering tea leaves, then looking curiously at Senju. “Did they encounter some kind of monster attack, like the ‘beasts’ on the ground?”

"Beasts? You must be talking about monsters," Senju thought for a moment and shook his head. "No, it's just that humans were too powerful, so internal wars destroyed everything."

“What a boring world, that humanity is destroying itself,” William said, lying on the sofa and looking at the lamp on the side. “In that case, we might as well let Nigolando see it.”

“Oh, William is so mean,” Nigolan said, after whining to William for a while. Seeing his expressionless face, she went to the side, took out a jar, and started pouring something into a cup. “But don’t worry, even if I’m a cannibal, I’m only interested in William right now.”

“I can’t either,” William quickly added. Nigolan clasped her hands together, tilted her head slightly, and looked at William with a cute expression. “Don’t worry, you’re the last human being left in this world. I’m not stupid enough to waste my life because of my appetite.”

Although her actions were cute, both Senju and William felt a chill run down their spines. Who would think to be on guard against such an adorable cannibal?

“However, if it’s his own wish, I’ll still think about it,” Nigolan said, bringing over a cup of freshly brewed tea and pouring two cups for the two of them. Then, panting, she approached William and asked, “Can we eat this?”

“No chance.” William pushed her face away, and Nigolan looked at him pleadingly. “Really? You won’t change your mind?”

“At least an arm,” Nigolan gasped as she leaned in, then looked at William with her finger in her mouth. “No, just a finger.”

Seeing the two's behavior, Senju was puzzled. However, William later told her everything about cannibals. They were handsome men and beautiful women who lived alone in houses far from the village. They would treat every traveler with kindness and then eat them all up at night. However, by then Senju was already very familiar with Nigoran and did not believe William's words at all.

“Alright,” William said, forcefully pushing away the excited Nigolan. “Let’s talk about work.”

"Is this really a cannibal?" Senju's eyes twitched as he watched from the side, then he asked William, "Isn't this clearly a nymphomaniac woman who's infatuated with you?"

“No, no, no, that’s not how it is,” William waved his hands repeatedly, then looked at Nigolan sitting next to him. “So, what should I do here?”

“Do nothing,” Nigolan said, picking up her teacup and adopting a ladylike demeanor.

William, who was standing next to him with a notebook, looked puzzled. "Huh?"

"So, are you planning to stay on this island?" Nigolan asked calmly, looking at William, who replied with a puzzled expression, "Of course! How can the administrator go somewhere else, especially wearing an ill-fitting military uniform?"

“But my ex and my ex-ex both only showed up once before leaving,” Nigolan replied with a hint of disappointment, then looked at William, “What are you planning to do?”

"Hey, is this really going to work?" William asked incredulously, while Senju chimed in, wishing all jobs could be done this easily.

Nigolan smiled and said, "If you're serious and say something like 'who could possibly stay in a place like this?' I can find you a place to stay outside the island, that would be no problem at all."

William, sweating profusely, stared at the human-shaped pastry in Nigolan's hand. "So, the worst that can happen is that she'll stab me with a knife when I turn around?"

"Ugh, that's so mean! What do you take me for?" Nigolan complained from the side, then happily swallowed the human-shaped dessert. William looked at her and felt a dark feeling in his heart. "Of course, you're a man-eating demon."

“Well, but it’s not my style to just do the work casually from now on,” William picked up his teacup and glanced at Nigolan. “I plan to stay here.”

“Ah, I knew you would make this decision. I miss taking care of you so much,” Nigolan excitedly leaned against William, looking at him intently. “I’m so happy.”

Senju, standing nearby, could sense that the atmosphere between the two had become ambiguous. However, William turned his head, saw Senju's expression, and shouted, "Don't misunderstand, this isn't the kind between young men and women. This guy just wants to fatten up the delicious lamb."

“I didn’t say anything,” Senju said, shrugging. Nigolan looked at William with a shy expression. “Oh, is that what William was thinking? Men and women, ah, so embarrassing.”

Chapter 211 Lolis Run Rampant Here

“Oh, right, I’ve already asked someone to prepare rooms for you all. But you two haven’t had dinner yet, right? Hopefully there’s something left in the restaurant. I’ll cook a delicious meal tomorrow, so please look forward to it,” Nigolan said, standing up.

“No need for that. I have some food here,” Senju said, taking out a plate and placing bread and roasted meat on it. “This will be fine for dinner.”

"Wow, this is amazing! I must learn how to make it," Nigolan said, her eyes sparkling as she looked at the food that had suddenly appeared. Senju, however, pretended not to hear her and mumbled an answer while biting into a piece of beef, "Mmm."

“Hehe, but I haven’t taken care of your daily life for a year, William, and I feel so happy,” Nigolan looked at William with affection, making him stop holding the roast meat.

"Just to confirm, you really don't have any intention of eating me?" William's expression was somewhat gloomy. Although it was hard for a young man to resist the kindness of a young woman, and his heart was pounding under the beautiful older woman's advances, he couldn't help but think that she was a cannibal, and the reason she was being so nice to him was to 'grow him up with love' and then 'eat him' in this cycle.

Thinking of this, William regained his rationality and tried to calm his racing heart. "Let me confirm one more time, you're not planning to eat me, right?"

"No, I really just wanted to take care of you." Nigolan looked hurt, then stood to the side with her hands clasped in a sacred manner. "We cannibals have a natural desire to take care of our guests, and I can't ask you to go all the way. In exchange, could you help me unleash another instinct?"

“Please let me take care of you,” Nigolan pleaded with William, but William showed no sign of being moved and went back to eating his roast meat and bread. “Alright, back to the point, the weapons depot I’m going to manage, is this the depot?”

“William is really mean,” Nigolan complained, then looked at William, who was looking very serious. “Well, that’s how it is.”
