“Time has stopped? That’s convenient,” Senju thought for a moment, then took out a bunch of things. “I did go to Hell just now, and these are some of its specialties.”

“Strange rocks,” Yuri poked at a few hellrock rocks, “Do these taste good?”

"No, you can't eat this. This will keep the fire burning."

"Tch, boring. Can this gray thing be eaten?" Yuri touched the soul sand next to her, then slowed down. "What is this?"

Seeing Yuri speaking haltingly, Senju quickly pulled her aside. "This is soul sand. It can slow down people's reactions, and it seems it can also grow some things."

"Ah, you've finally recovered. Senju, didn't you find anything to eat?" Yuri said, looking at Senju with a pout.

"Food, I found some mushrooms, do you dare to eat them?" Senju took out a gray mushroom, which Yuri bit into. After chewing a few times, she spat it out, "Disgusting."

Senju looked at Yuri speechlessly. This was too hasty. I haven't even said how to eat it yet. Chito next to her yawned. What was supposed to be a tense situation turned out to be completely fine. After relaxing, she felt a little tired.

"Why don't you two take a shower first, then you can go to sleep," Ishii suggested to the two people next to him.

“Okay,” Yuri said, pulling Qianhu aside.

After watching the two leave, Ishii asked Senju, "What's in Hell? Are there monsters?"

“There are no monsters, only endless rocks and lava, but now I can create some infinite energy,” Thousand Hands said with a slight boost of excitement, then took out a lever. “This is it. Once you put it on a machine, it can make it run indefinitely, no matter what kind of machine it is.”

Chapter Fifty-Nine: The Completion of the Aircraft

"Really? How do you use this?" Ishii examined the small object. It was clearly just a stone attached to a wooden root.

"Just stick this on the machine and pull it," Qian pointed to a transmitter next to her, gesturing for her to try it. Then, the separately placed engine inexplicably started moving. "Pull it again, and it will stop."

However, this thing can also detonate explosives, so be careful when using it.

“Oh, I see. I’ll see if I can install it on an airplane,” Ishii said, and then began to test its effects on other machines.

Seeing that she was studying it, Senju decided to go out and make some round stones. After going out through the entrance, Senju found that it was bright outside. It turned out that she had lit the torches. Senju then remembered that she seemed to have farmed before.

After checking, Senju found that the wheat was ripe, so he harvested it and replanted it. The spruce trees had also grown, but this time they were only of average height, so Senju didn't need to build tall ladders to cut them down. After planting the spruce saplings, Senju began his original purpose.

Fearing that the lava would damage the buildings below, Senju built a stone-making machine that was higher off the ground. It was a long, suspended water tank with lava at one end and water at the other. Where the water and lava touched, the lava turned into stone.

Senju stood nearby, carefully digging out the stones. After digging out a set of round stones, Senju collected the water source and lava. He then casually made a lever and used it to open the entrance.

Back at the base, Senju found that the lights in both container houses were off, and only the lights on the surrounding roads were still on. Senju decided not to disturb them and to take a shower first.

Arriving at the bathroom door, which was pitch black inside, Senju opened the door with the lever and went inside. Using the outside light, she took off her clothes and then pushed open the small inner door and turned on the light.

"It's you," came Ishii's voice from beside her. Senju then noticed that Ishii was lying in the bathtub, but after glancing at Senju, she lay back down. "Aren't you asleep yet?"

“Hmm,” Senju didn’t know how to answer. The other person was too calm. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were using it. I’ll go out now.”

"It's alright, you should hurry up and take a shower, otherwise the hot water will run out soon," Ishii sighed. "The hot water is already colder than yesterday's, it seems this base will have to stop operating soon."

"Really?" Senju hesitated for a moment, then took a shower nearby. "How are the plane preparations going?"

"It's almost finished. We can install all the parts tomorrow. With your lever, it can fly forever."

"Will anyone actually be at your destination? Why don't you leave with us?"

"Who knows? But flying is my dream, and I won't give up until I fly at least once."

"Is that so? I can only wish you good luck."

"No, Senju has already done enough, but now I want to keep a child. You may be the only man I've ever met."

"But you're leaving tomorrow." Senju's voice trembled slightly as she spoke.

“It’s okay. Mom used to say that as long as you’re with a boy like Dad, you’ll naturally find a child. Is there anything wrong with that?” Ishii asked, somewhat puzzled.

"There's nothing wrong with it, in fact, it makes some sense," Senju thought with a wry smile. He had been overthinking things, but isn't that how it is in games?

"Ah, I'm going to sleep now. You can soak in the tub for a while longer, and then tidy up the bathroom," Ishii said as he stepped out of the tub, dried himself off, and left.

Senju watched her leave, feeling both amused and terrified. It seemed that humanity was truly on the verge of extinction. After taking a shower, he tidied up the bathroom and then left.

He glanced at Ishii's hut and saw that she was still studying, so he decided not to disturb her. However, Ishii had already heard Senju's footsteps. "You should rest first. I need to continue my research for a while."

Looking at her calm face, Senju obediently lay down on the bed and slowly fell asleep after a while.

When Senju woke up in the morning, she found Ishii sleeping soundly next to her, but looking at the glasses on her face, she knew that nothing had happened.

With mixed feelings, Senju went out to prepare breakfast. However, after cooking some mushroom soup, she tasted it and found it delicious. Senju decided to collect more mushrooms for everyone to try later.

A little while later, all three of them got up, ate their food, and began their work for the day.

Thousand Hands watched the three of them work together. In one afternoon, the three of them finished the final construction of the airplane. Thousand Hands also took advantage of this time to go to Hell a few times. Without monsters, he leveled up to level 30 by collecting Hell Quartz. He also found a bunch of mushrooms. However, Thousand Hands dared not take out those red and white poisonous mushrooms to eat.

Although a long time had passed on Senju's side, when he returned, everything was still the same. However, after the plane was completed, Senju used a car to pull the plane to the platform at the plane's exit. From there, you could see an exit for the plane leading outside.

Once the plane was ready, Ishii decided to celebrate. She brought out a table, and the four of them sat around it.

“Well then, to celebrate the completion of the plane, cheers,” Ishii said, raising a glass to the three of them.

"Cheers!" the four shouted in unison, then clinked glasses and drank the water. Yuri asked, puzzled, "What does 'cheers' mean?"

"It's probably something we should do when celebrating something," Chito explained, then Ishii...

A full metal bucket was placed on the table.

"So there are two taro roots as well."

"Taro, taro!" Yuri cheered, grabbing two and eating them. "Delicious!"

"It's delicious, but is it really okay to take two?" Chito looked at Ishii with some concern.

"After all, we can't take them all on the plane," Ishii sighed.

After hearing this, Yuri immediately reached out her hand, "Hey, give me another one then."

"Yuri's skin is really thick," Ishii joked after the plane was completed.

In response, Qianhu could only apologize, saying, "I'm sorry for causing you trouble."

“However, there should still be some left in the production facilities on the west side,” Ishii said after thinking for a moment.

“Really? Let’s make that our destination!” Yuri was very excited after hearing this, and Chito agreed, “Yes.”

Chapter Sixty: I Can Fly a Plane Too

"I'll draw the map for you later," Ishii said with a smile as he looked at the three of them.

"Destination?" Chito asked with some doubt. "To be honest, we don't even know where Ishii's destination is. We only know that you're leaving the city."

“Of course I won’t fly around aimlessly,” Ishii said, glancing down at his cup with a somewhat somber expression.

"So where are you planning to go? Is it the highest floor?" Chito and Yuri asked at the same time, and Ishii took out a map from the side and put it on the table.

"What is this?"

“The flight path map found at the base shows that people used to travel between nearby cities by plane,” Ishii explained.

"A nearby city!" Chito and Yuri exclaimed simultaneously.

“I used the observation glasses and finally, on a clear day, I could vaguely see something on the other side,” Ishii said excitedly. “It should still be there now.”

"What are the nearby cities like?" Yuri asked, a mixture of longing and confusion.

"Well, you'll find out when you get there," Ishii said, then seemed a little dazed, his expression somewhat gloomy.

"Here, cheese," Chito said, and the camera captured a picture of Ishii and the airplane.

When the three of them went to draw a map together, Senju put away the plane, but after looking at the name, he felt a little scared: "A plane that will definitely break its wings."

He wanted to repair the plane, only to discover that its durability was already at its maximum, meaning there was a problem with the plane's design.

"Huh? Where's the plane?" Just as Senju was wondering what to do, Ishii's confused voice came from the side. Looking at her expression, she was completely bewildered, as if she had just woken up from a beautiful dream.

She stumbled to the airplane's support structure and started touching everything, crying, "Where's the airplane? Where's the airplane?"

After searching the entire support structure without finding a trace of the plane, he slumped down in frustration. "Heh, was all of this just an illusion? Are you all just my hallucinations?"

“No, we’re not hallucinating. Senju must have put the plane away. He’s done this before,” Chito ran over to comfort Ishii, which calmed her down. However, Ishii started staring intently at Senju.

“I took the plane, but I can’t give it to you,” Senju admitted directly, but he still couldn’t bear to watch Ishii head towards his demise.

However, his words made Ishii's face turn pale. "What should I do to get you to give me the plane?"

"Senju, hurry up and get the plane out. It would be too much to joke around like this," Chito and Yuri urged Senju.

Senju shook her head. "It's not that I want anything, but there's something wrong with this plane. If Ishii gets on it, it will definitely crash. Even so, are you still going to hand the plane over to her?"

"Really?" Yuri asked, somewhat doubtful. However, after hearing this, Ishii stood up and regained his normal expression. "It's okay. Although I had a feeling, I won't give up until I fly it once."

Even if the plane crashes, would you still choose to fly?

"Of course, this is the last flight in human history. I won't give up until I see the final result."

"Conversely, if you know the final outcome, you'll give up, right?"

“Of course, if someone tries so hard and still ends up failing, I have no choice but to give up,” Ishii sighed, but then immediately became serious. “But I won’t give up if I haven’t even tried.”

"Really? Can you fly other planes?" Senju suddenly asked a completely unrelated question.

“Of course, I’ve studied a lot of airplanes,” Ishii replied proudly.

"Can helicopters do that too?"

"Of course, but there are no such planes here. Give the plane back to me right now."

“I’m not returning it, and I have a helicopter right here,” Senju said, taking out an anvil and repairing a helicopter from the package. “Want to go out and try it out?”

“Okay,” Ishii said, a hint of guilt in his voice. The four of them went outside. Senju ignored the farmland next to them and found a wide open space. He started laying concrete blocks and some iron blocks in the middle to form a flat landing pad.

Senju then placed the repaired helicopter on it. Ishii's eyes lit up, completely forgetting what had just happened. He grabbed Senju's arm, "It's real!"

"Really? Is this true?"

“Of course it’s true, you can go and see for yourself,” Senju said with a hint of helplessness as she pulled Ishii closer to the helicopter. The two people next to them found it somewhat amusing.

"Ah, the feel of this, these materials, this is the perfect aircraft," Senju said. Although he didn't know how Ishii could tell, it didn't stop Ishii from recognizing the perfection of this helicopter.

Suddenly, Ishii turned around and said, "I'd give you everything I have if you just give me this plane."

"Senju, just give the plane to her," Chito also advised from the side, but Yuri had already run to the helicopter and started touching it, and then pulled open the cabin door a moment later.

"Look, look! It's so big inside!" Yuri cheered as she stood inside, which annoyed Chito.

“Let’s go take a look too,” Senju and Ishii went up as well, leaving only Chito still hesitating. But after a while, she ran up, crying out, “Don’t leave me behind!”

"Hehe, Chito is such a coward," Yuri said with a grin, looking at Chito with tears in her eyes. After being beaten up by Yuri, Chito started begging for mercy.
