To offer blocks for the end times. Author: Digging a hole to bury myself.

Summary:

With the MC system, Senju wandered helplessly in this world of steel ruins. He thought he was all alone until he met his companions and found a purpose for survival. He traveled with them and walked with them. Even if going up was the end, he would find a way to break through the dead end and survive.

After overcoming his desperate situation, Senju realized that the world really has many pitfalls. In order to live a leisurely life, Senju began to search for his ideal home.

I'm recommending my new book, "Ultimately, I Will Slay the Gods," a story about a princess of a fallen kingdom versus the last god.

Volume 1: The Final Girls' Trip: The Human World

Is it really okay for the first chapter to start with a city?

Senju has been wandering around this city for a long time, but still hasn't found what he needs most.

He wasn't originally called Thousand Hands; he had a nice name before. But since he'd transmigrated, that name was meaningless now. All he regretted was playing survival mode and transmigrating right at the start.

When he time-traveled, he was playing Minecraft. After getting tired of the creative mode, he started trying the survival mode. Then, he was captured by some expert and put into a real-life survival game.

When he came to his senses, he found himself with a cheat system. Looking at the familiar interface in front of him, he immediately thought of the saying "If you want to get rich, start by chopping down trees." Then he began to imagine how he would dominate the world, punching Enders and kicking Enders, with all kinds of monsters bowing down to him.

Thinking of this, he couldn't help but laugh out loud. Then, following his plan, he began the first step of his great undertaking. However, to his astonishment, the surroundings were made entirely of steel and snowflakes, and he couldn't find the wood he needed most.

Feeling a chill, he was unwilling to give up and began searching the entire city. Sure enough, he found many items and changed into a thick set of clothes. He also found a steel helmet as his initial equipment. However, he thought the best items were a pile of iron ingots, a few iron barrels, and some food.

He was now eagerly anticipating the arrival of monsters, but unfortunately, not a single zombie appeared overnight, leaving him extremely disappointed. A convenient path to obtaining items was blocked. He now only regretted not knowing Wood Release; otherwise, he would have already demolished this steel city. To commemorate the wood he desired most, he decided to change his name to Thousand Hands.

Senju sorted out his gains over the past few days, putting away the explosives and shells, processing the iron ingots into scissors and heavy pressure plates, and filling the iron bucket with the water source he had finally found. The food would last for a few more days, which was what Senju was most satisfied with. He only needed to eat a little each day to keep himself from getting hungry.

Waving his rifle, Thousand Hands gave himself a pep talk, "Oh~ I'll definitely find the wood today." His voice carried far, echoing through the empty city, but unfortunately, not a single living creature appeared.

Senju was heading into the city again today. Although he had already explored most of the city's layout, many places were still dark. Senju used the pressure plate he made to turn on many long-dormant machines and lights. As long as there was a door, he could get what was inside. Even if there was no door, he had explosives to clear the way. However, he was still somewhat disappointed with the results of his repetitive labor over the past few days.

Although the number of items increases every day, the things I need most—trees, soil, and seeds—are still nowhere to be found. Now I can only try my luck in the city again.

Stepping onto the little vehicle he had built, Senju set off. Although it was called a vehicle, it was actually just a haphazardly assembled scooter. However, the appearance of this vehicle was a major step for Senju in combining his system with reality.

At the time, Senju only found a few skateboards, but he didn't know how to play with them at all. He just put a pressure board on it and sat on it for a while. Then he found himself being carried around. After discovering this loophole, Senju started making his own mount.

Two skateboards are fixed together with iron sheets and screws, a twisted steel bar is fixed on top as a handlebar, a pressure plate is placed on top, and a spotlight is attached to the front, and a brand new automatic scooter is born.

With one foot on it and the other for balance, Qian Shou was able to drive leisurely thanks to the slow speed of the vehicle.

He traversed countless obstacles, sometimes riding a bicycle and sometimes riding a bicycle. Thousand Hands no longer picked up any of the debris along the way, because he had already identified these items as useless junk in his bag.

Having traversed countless ruins made of steel and weapons, Thousand Hands collected many more weapons, shells, and explosives, making his collection work much easier. Although the detonation method was primitive and would destroy many things, it was the best way for Thousand Hands to collect blocks now.

After collecting some more blocks with explosives, Thousand Hands still couldn't find what he was looking for. Looking around at the abandoned tanks and airplanes, Thousand Hands decided to head towards the central tower.

Some might ask why not use these tools and instead build a broken-down car himself? Senju did try, and it could start, but the dilapidated roads of the city were not suitable for such vehicles. As for the airplane, Senju didn't want to end his life so soon; he wanted to continue struggling.

After spending a long time collecting items by blowing up buildings along the way, Senju finally arrived at the tower. Upon closer inspection, he truly realized the tower's immense size. The steel tower resembled a legendary pillar supporting the sky, firmly holding up another layer that was faintly visible above.

After circling the tower for a while, they finally found an entrance. Senju carefully went inside and discovered that it was a hollow structure with spiral staircases connecting the top and bottom.

These stairs have many broken sections, and Senju is now very happy that he has collected so many blocks that he can fill in the gaps in the path.

Repair it.

After repairing the gap in the road, Senju decided to go down to look for items. Although he didn't want to admit it, Senju felt more at ease going down. As long as he kept going down, he would definitely touch the soil and find the trees, minerals and stones that had been buried before.

Thinking this, Senju descended the spiral staircase. Senju was now grateful for having a system that could store many things, and felt relaxed as she spun around in the seemingly endless spiral.

After an unknown amount of time, light shone from a window on one side of the giant tower. When Senju approached, he realized that he had left the upper level. Looking out the window, he could see the city below, which was also covered in snow, but there was nothing moving about. The only sounds were the loud noises of buildings collapsing.

Looking at these similar buildings, Senju began to worry about whether there was anything she needed. However, having come to this floor, she also needed to search for supplies.

Continuing downwards, Senju repaired all the gaps along the way, creating small paths. Following these constructed paths, Senju finally reached the ground level. By this time, he had almost exhausted all the various random blocks he had collected.

Riding the small cart, Senju entered this level of the city and began his journey of collecting and surviving.

Chapter Two: The Dried-up Garden

After leaving the giant tower, Senju finally reached a new level. This level was still filled with snow and wind, and the city was covered in snow, but there was no trace of human activity.

Senju began his search nearby and soon found an abandoned research facility-like building. Senju had to search such buildings carefully, regardless of size, and put all the strange items he saw into his backpack. Once the backpack was full, he would put it down somewhere and repeat the process. After doing this for an unknown amount of time, the lights in the facility suddenly came on.

Senju looked outside and saw that the sun had already disappeared and the streetlights were gradually coming on. Back in the house where the items were piled up, Senju looked at his haul and began to examine them one by one. To call it an examination was just a matter of putting the large pile of items he had found into his backpack one by one, and then the backpack would display the names of the items. Senju was able to identify whether the items were what he needed by relying on this function.

To save time, he would put all the items together first and then examine them one by one. However, there were many items of different sizes in this pile. He first picked out the ones he recognized. Although he didn't recognize many of the items, he still found a few books, a few machines that looked like cell phones, and some steel tools.

The remaining items usually don't contain any surprises, but this time was different. There were several strange cubes about the size of briefcases that were identified as 'energy-depleted robots'.

Senju was somewhat surprised by the assessment. Although she wanted to find traces of human activity, it wasn't these abandoned robots. After thinking for a long time, Senju decided to awaken one of the robots, but this time the awakening wouldn't be done in this room.

After selecting a robot that was noticeably smaller, Thousand Hands found an empty room in the facility and began setting it up. The setup was very simple; he simply arranged some blocks to form a small pool, placed a pressure plate inside, and put the robot next to it.

Then Qian Shou placed a steel pipe on it. After a while, some of the lights on the little robot started to move. After a while, it seemed to be full of energy and stretched out four legs that looked like iron rods. These limbs looked too simple and thin, as if they would fall over if touched. Then a small square extended from it, which looked like a head. Overall, it looked like a strange dog.

"Hello," the robot spoke after a while, its voice sounding like that of a lonely, empty man. Thousand Hands was stunned upon hearing this voice, unsure how to respond, and could only mechanically reply, "Hello."

After a long while, the robot spoke again, "I am the autonomous robot here. May I ask what your needs are, sir?"

"Ah, I want soil, trees, and seeds." Thousand Hands said dryly, stating what he needed, but the robot immediately replied, "Soil? There's a small garden here; there might be some soil in there."

"Really? Can you take me there?" Thousand Hands asked with a pleading expression, knocking a hole in the surrounding blocks.

"With pleasure, please follow me." With that, it led the way, and Senju followed behind, not knowing what to say, so he could only follow silently.

After a while, Senju arrived at an empty facility. It was vaguely recognizable as a garden, but there were no flowers left, only some withered branches stuck in the ground. The ground was covered with dry weeds, and even the most resilient weeds had died.

Senju was somewhat disappointed by this scene. He stepped forward and started knocking on the weeds. While knocking them down, he obtained a few wheat seeds. In the end, he only collected a pile of soil and a few sticks. There wasn't a single sapling in the pile.

The robot watched silently as Thousand Hands dug in the soil. It still didn't quite understand this human. According to its stored memories, humans were interested in technology, power, and money. Had things completely changed now?

Looking at the soil in the package, Senju carefully placed it on a flat surface, leaving a space in the middle and placing a bucket of water inside. A simple arrangement.

Once a bucket of water is placed on it, it becomes a short stream, flowing continuously between two rows of mud, but it doesn't flow out.

Senju tried to turn the soil over with steel bars, but it didn't turn into farmland at all. Senju was a little disappointed. As expected, having a system meant you had to follow its rules. But right now, he didn't have a workbench to use.

Seeing the human become frustrated after creating the strange sight, the robot felt it necessary to understand his troubles. "Isn't this great? We have soil, trees, and seeds."

"Yes, now we're just missing the tools," Senju replied listlessly. The search had failed again; they would have to continue.

"Tools? I can make simple tools too," the robot replied softly. However, after hearing this, Thousand Hands also wanted to give it a try. Although the system didn't recognize anything he made by hand as a whole, he wondered how good the robot's handiwork was.

Then, the robot described the shapes of the hoe, pickaxe, and axe to it, and took out a pile of steel items. After searching through them, the robot took out a few items, and then a bright flash of fire shot out from its head and began to process them.

"It's done. Are these okay?" The robot showed off its creations. Senju looked at them and realized they were the items she had mentioned.

With a nervous heart, Senju put away the tools, and then saw that there were steel hoes, steel picks and steel axes inside. He was overjoyed and carefully used the steel hoe to work the soil. The soil immediately turned into the color of cultivated land. Senju then planted a few seeds.

Looking at the surrounding lights, Senju felt somewhat dissatisfied, so he set up a few pillars next to him, placed the streetlights he had collected on them, put pressure plates behind them, and then placed heavy objects on them, and all the lights turned on.

After finishing these tasks, Senju returned to the storage room to continue sorting through the items, and the robot followed him away.

"Thank you very much." Senju now regards this robot as a partner; its ability is exactly what she lacks.

"You're welcome. Helping humans is my job." After saying that, it retracted its outstretched limbs and head, turning into a flat box as if it were in standby mode.

Seeing this, Thousand Hands sighed. It seemed to have consumed too much energy. He decided to use the pressure plate to recharge it.

Chapter Three: Harvest and Maps

After glancing at the remaining items around her, Senju placed the iron pressure plate next to the robot, pressing down on a piece of scrap steel, and on the other side, she placed an electric furnace.

"Thank you," the robot suddenly poked its head out and spoke, but its body remained in the shape of a box and its legs did not extend. "This is standby mode."

"Oh, really? Standby mode?"

"Yes, standby mode is the best state to save energy and prevent damage to the body."

"Oh, how long have you been here?"

"It's been 50 years since I was manufactured, and many models produced around the same time as me have already stopped working."

"Really? You're so lucky. Should I wake up these other ones too?"

"There's no need. The facilities are completely abandoned now. Even if we try to wake them up, we won't get any instructions. We can only continue to wait."

"Really? What kind of facility is this?"

"Yes, this is a center for weapons development. It seems that humanity no longer needs weapons."

"Yes, we don't need to."

Then there was a moment of silence. Thousand Hands silently sorted through piles of junk, finding items that could be used by the system. All kinds of damaged items were identified as junk, regularly shaped steel objects were identified as iron ingots, and some still-usable machines were identified by their names.

After the miscellaneous items are inspected, Senju will smash them one by one to look for usable items inside. Many of these items will burst open and reveal small objects.

In the end, the thousand hands' harvest consisted of several iron ingots, some explosives and gunpowder, a box of military compressed rations, two engines, several cameras, a small amount of feathers, dyes and thread, three bones, and a piece of leather.

Looking at the bone in his hand, Senju was a little dazed. He had gotten it from breaking a gray, unidentified object, which also gave him a piece of leather. Now that he thought about it, it must have been a specimen.

Senju carefully processed the bones into bone powder and put them away. These were important items; with this, he wouldn't have to worry about food. After thinking about this for a while, he felt completely relaxed, and then a wave of drowsiness washed over him. He curled up next to the electric heater, covered himself with a blanket, and fell asleep.

When he woke up again, the lights in the facility were off, and light was coming from outside. Senju stretched and sat up. Looking at the sun and snow outside, Senju decided to go and check on the wheat he had planted the night before.

As if seeing Senju wake up, the robot next to him also stood up and greeted him, "Good morning."

"Good morning," Senju replied, then built a two-square pool on the side. He put a water source in one square and water flowed in the other. Senju filled his water bottle and put it on the electric stove to boil water.

While boiling water, Senju began asking the robot for information about the surrounding buildings and terrain. Although it was a bit strange, Senju treated the robot as if it were a person.

Are you full of energy?

"Yes, it's a truly amazing device. It can actually convert gravity into energy. The current amount of electricity can power this machine for three months, and it can stay in standby mode for more than two years."

"Really? That's great. The pressure plate is still here. I was wondering if you know what facilities are nearby?"

"Thank you very much. As for the surrounding facilities, the central computer stores a map of the entire city, showing the functions of each location."

"Great! Can you take me there?"

"Of course, please follow me." After saying that, the robot walked outside, and Senju quickly followed. After a while, they arrived in front of a smooth wall.

The robot seemed to send some kind of signal, and a door immediately opened on the wall. Only then did Senju realize that he seemed to have missed a lot of things before.

Following it inside, there was a large screen on the wall and many keyboard-like objects on the side. All of these machines had stopped due to low power. The robot extended its forelimb and inserted it into a small hole, and the surrounding machines gradually lit up.

"My battery can only power the facility for thirty minutes, but that's enough to give you a general overview of the building," the robot said calmly, while a map of the city appeared on its screen.

At this moment, Senju took out a camera. "No problem, we just need to take pictures of these maps."
