"Should we go see Heath?" Officer Jenny knew her friend's personality well, but she had also felt a bit strange lately, especially during the arrest of a criminal gang. The usually quiet Officer Jenny had unusually used excessive force, almost wanting to kill them all on the spot. This puzzled her. Although the things the criminal gang had done angered her, she had seen far worse things and shouldn't have been so agitated. But for some reason, she couldn't control her emotions when facing those guys; she was just extremely angry and wanted to kill them all on the spot. This even led Officer Jenny to visit a psychologist afterwards.
"Hmm? We still don't know where that kid is." Jun Shafeng curled her lips. That brat only contacted her once before, and then he disappeared without a trace. Jun Shafeng even suspected that Heath had forgotten about her. However, after hearing Ling's words, she couldn't help but take out her phone and check. She opened Heath's Moments and saw a photo of Heath with a girl. The two of them were smiling happily, and the location was Changqing City. Jun Shafeng was stunned. She knew that girl. She was her younger brother's girlfriend, Miss Zhu Lan.
"This kid... he's forgotten about his sister now that he has a girlfriend. But Changqing City, huh?" Jun Shafeng pondered, resting her chin on her hand. Changqing City... it had been a long time since she'd been back. She had to admit that while Kuye City was indeed very busy and not exactly a retirement city, after spending so much time there, Jun Shafeng had actually started to miss it. After all, it was where she'd worked for so long. She even remembered every tree by the training field, and what the problem was with that particular rock on the field. After leaving Changqing City, Jun Shafeng realized she actually missed those days. Although life there was a bit monotonous, she could train happily with Ling and the others every day. Here, she was constantly busy, with hardly any time to chat. She'd almost forgotten when she last chatted with Jun Shaling for more than ten minutes—it seemed like it was still in Changqing City, right?
Thinking of this, Officer Jenny's expression became somewhat strange. She was currently considering whether to make a trip to Viridian City later. After all, Viridian City was a nice place to rest, and she could also see some old friends. Of course, the main reason was that brat was currently in Viridian City. As Hiss's elder, she naturally needed to meet the Sinnoh champion. Although her younger brother was handsome and a good cook, it was still hard for Officer Jenny to believe that a champion would fall for her brother. Moreover, taking this opportunity to see Hiss was a good choice. With that in mind, Officer Jenny had already decided to book a flight to Viridian City later. That way, it would be faster. Although it wasn't impossible to take a car, it wouldn't be as quick.
"Are you going to see Heath?" Officer Jenny suddenly asked. Officer Jenny nodded immediately. What could be wrong with her going to see her younger brother? That brat hadn't contacted her in ages. She was definitely going to give him a good talking-to this time, so he wouldn't cause any more trouble.
“Then I’ll rest too.” Officer Jenny smiled. Officer Jenny was taken aback for a moment, but looking at her friend, she nodded. Officer Jenny and Heath had a good relationship, or rather, when Heath was in Evergreen City, he had a good relationship with the Officers there. He was the recognized little brother figure, and everyone liked Heath and often patronized his business. If Heath hadn’t left, she wouldn’t have made the decision to come to Fallen Leaf City.
Chapter 1133 The Officers of Evergreen
“Evergreen City…” Heath gazed at the city before him, lost in thought. It had been a very long time since he had returned to Evergreen City. After all, he was very busy these days, and although his trip to the Kanto region was over, he still had his trip to the Sinnoh region to go on. However, this time, Heath had also come to see his old friends. Returning to this familiar city, Heath felt a sense of familiarity. The city streets and streetlights all felt very familiar to him. Heath looked around. He knew that the Officer Jenny in Evergreen City had changed, but he wasn't sure who it was. However, he had heard that it was an elderly Officer Jenny who had come here to retire. In fact, this situation was not uncommon. After all, Officer Jennys also grow old and frail, so they usually choose safe positions for them to retire. This was a custom of the Officer Jenny family. However, he was curious as to why Maple had been assigned to this place, but since Maple hadn't said anything, Heath didn't say anything and could only pretend not to know.
Heath drove his food truck to his usual spot. Just as he was about to get off, he suddenly slapped his forehead. Having spent so much time in Evergreen City, he'd almost forgotten about this whole thing. Heath quickly drove his truck to the Officer J.A.R. building in Evergreen City. Looking at the familiar building, Heath felt a pang of nostalgia. This place truly held many of his memories. He found the civil affairs department with practiced ease and, with the warm welcome of Officer J.A.R., registered for his assigned spot. Looking at her, Heath smiled. Although he hadn't been back for a long time, it was clear everyone still remembered him. His spot had been reserved and hadn't been rented out, which made Heath feel even better. After all, Heath didn't have any grand ambitions; he simply wanted to be a quiet chef.
"Heath, how long do you plan to stay in Viridian City?" Officer Jenny asked, resting her chin on her hand. She had already received a message from Maple, so she quickly inquired. Although the current Officer Jenny was very kind, her age created a generation gap, making communication less smooth than before. Officer Jenny really hoped that Heath could stay, since he could enjoy good food there. Heath hesitated for a moment after hearing this. To be honest, he didn't know how long he would stay in Viridian City, but it certainly wouldn't be long. After all, Cynthia, as the Sinnoh Champion, was extremely busy every day, and it wasn't easy for her to take a few days off. If she stayed any longer, it could easily cause other problems.
"It shouldn't be too long, after all, I'm planning to go to the Sinnoh region with... Cynthia to see Cynthia's grandmother." Heath smiled and then explained that he knew most of the Officers here, but he only realized now that some of the Officers had changed. He didn't know why this was the case. Heath thought it might be because most of the Officers here were retired, so the League had transferred some of the younger and stronger Officers to other cities. After all, the security level in Viridian City was very high, with almost no cases occurring in a year, so the Officers here were usually older seniors.
"Zhu Lan's grandmother? Ah, you've already progressed to the point of meeting each other's parents?" Officer Jenny looked shocked, and Heath was somewhat amused and exasperated. Was it true that elders in any world always liked to inquire about the lives of their juniors? However, Heath didn't feel any resistance to Officer Jenny's question. After all, he knew the Officer Jenny in front of him. Officer Jenny was a warm and kind-hearted person with a particularly gentle personality. So much so that everyone felt she wasn't suited to be an Officer Jenny, and therefore arranged for her to work in the civil affairs department. After all, working there didn't require her to go out and arrest criminals, which suited her perfectly. It was precisely because Heath knew the Officer Jenny in front of him that he wasn't affected by her question. If it were someone he didn't know, Heath would have already lost his temper, but with Officer Jenny, it naturally didn't matter.
Seeing this, Heath knew that it would be difficult to satisfy the other party without saying something, so he simply said a few things he could. After he finished speaking, Heath said goodbye to Officer Jenny. He needed to go back to his stall. Moreover, he hadn't seen Arbok and the others for so long, and he didn't know if they were still doing well. He also didn't know if Mr. Codd and the others were still around. Thinking of this, Heath's mood improved a lot. After all, they were his old friends of four or five years. Heath was very happy to be able to reunite with his friends after such a long time. He just wondered what his old friends were doing now.
Just as Hiss was about to leave, he saw a familiar boy walk in. Hiss remembered this boy, after all, Charmander was rescued from him. Perhaps "rescued" wasn't the most appropriate word, since Charmander hadn't suffered any real harm except for some psychological trauma. Hiss remembered that the boy had probably found a Sweetie to be his Pokémon, and he wondered how the boy was doing now.
"Sister Flower, please, you must allow me to marry the Queen!" Just as Heath was about to leave, he heard a statement that shattered his worldview. Turning around, he saw Officer Jenny covering her face in anguish, while the other Officer Jennys went about their business as if nothing was amiss. As for the boy with the unusual hobby, he was hunched over the table, speaking earnestly. Heath gasped. Good heavens, the League has already banned marriage between humans and Pokémon, and you actually want to be the first?! That's outrageous!
"Sigh, didn't I already say..." Heath didn't listen any further. He felt that if he continued listening, something bad might happen. Of course, Heath himself didn't care, but all of Heath's Pokémon were there, all on his waist. If any of the Pokémon heard him and decided to learn from him, it would be very troublesome, really troublesome. So Heath didn't plan to do that. He planned to leave this place of trouble as soon as possible.
Chapter 1134 Middle-aged weight gain is always hard to avoid
"Eh? Is that Heath?" A familiar customer walked over. Heath was taken aback when he saw the man. Of course, he remembered this customer; it was the very first customer who had patronized his business. Heath remembered that he had once suspected that the man might have some special relationship with a user of Aura Power, since the man's name was Yaning, a very familiar name. Of course, Heath later discovered that the man wasn't a hero with Aura Power; he was just an ordinary person, albeit one who worked for the League. Heath remembered the man's identity, and his name left a deep impression on him, so he still had a strong impression of Mr. Yaning. But looking at Mr. Yaning in front of him now, Heath felt a sense of loss, as the man seemed to have gained weight. Compared to the Mr. Yaning of the past, the man now looked rounder, and his belly was protruding. He no longer had the lean and capable appearance he once had. If it weren't for the fact that the man's facial features hadn't changed much, Heath would have almost not recognized him.
"Mr. Yaning? You look quite different lately." Heath looked at Mr. Yaning in surprise. If Mr. Yaning used to be a handsome man, then Mr. Yaning now was a greasy middle-aged man. However, Heath didn't mean to look down on him. After all, Heath knew very well that people tend to gain weight in middle age. When Heath was in elementary school, his physical education teacher was known as the school's heartthrob. He was young and handsome, and many girls loved his class. He was also popular with many female teachers at the school. But when Heath returned to his elementary school to visit his teacher after graduating from university, he saw a slightly balding middle-aged man with a beer belly. When he smiled, he had no chin. But the man looked strangely familiar. Later, he learned that it was his former physical education teacher. After getting married, he maintained a good figure and went to work for a sporting goods company. Then his belly grew bigger, and he was no longer as handsome as before.
Mr. Yaning now actually has this in mind, which makes Hiss realize that perhaps immortality is not a particularly good thing. After all, he has to watch the people he knows and is familiar with leave him one by one. This makes Hiss feel a bit complicated. Mr. Yaning has changed a lot now, and it is really hard to imagine what Mr. Yaning will be like after he has traveled to all the regions of the Alliance.
"It really is Heath... Haha, didn't you let me off the hook after your wife had a baby? Your food truck has changed a lot, do you still have jianbing guozi and egg fried rice?" Mr. Yaning looked at Heath's food truck. Although he had seen information about Heath's food truck online before, it still seemed a bit strange. After all, Heath's food truck looked very big, and the decoration was also very nice. Yaning now knew a bit about interior design. He couldn't help but know a bit, since he had bought a house and had spent a long time researching interior design information to give his wife a satisfactory home.
Heath smiled and nodded after hearing Mr. Yaning's words. He certainly had jianbing guozi (Chinese crepes) and egg fried rice at his stall. After all, in the past, these were the only things Heath could sell at his stall every day. There wasn't much else to offer, so customers didn't have many food options. Of course, now Heath could make much more. But looking at Mr. Yaning's expression, Heath felt that perhaps Mr. Yaning still wanted to eat the jianbing guozi and egg fried rice he used to eat. This could be considered a kind of nostalgia factor. After all, people are always nostalgic these days. Some veteran singers have made a comeback, and people will want to continue eating the things they've gotten used to in the future.
"Then give me a plate of egg fried rice and a braised chicken leg, and oh yeah, a plate of pickled scallions too. I heard your pickled scallions are really delicious." Mr. Yaning laughed heartily. Heath nodded in agreement. It had been a while since he'd had these things made, and Heath really missed them. He looked out the window at the small, familiar city, feeling a mix of amusement and inexplicable sadness. After all, having left Changqing City, he didn't know when he'd be able to return. However, Heath felt it was quite possible he'd come back soon, since he had the Anywhere Door and wasn't too worried about the journey.
Heath made very ordinary egg fried rice. Although egg fried rice can be made very expensive if one wants to go for a higher price, Heath knew of a chef whose egg fried rice sold for tens of thousands of dollars a bowl. The reason was the ingredients used. Although it looked like only eggs and rice, it was backed by a lot of expensive ingredients, including edible gold leaf. Although Heath was curious about whether people could digest gold leaf and whether they would go to the toilet in gold, he was not so disgusted as to watch other people go to the toilet.
The only thing Heath did was use lard to fry the egg fried rice, which was one of the few things Heath insisted on. Putting aside the question of whether lard is healthy or not, it's true that egg fried rice fried with lard tastes delicious, even exceptionally so. Heath personally felt that the difference between egg fried rice fried with vegetable oil and lard was so obvious that you could taste it after just one bite. As for the braised chicken legs, it was very simple; Heath just had to put the chicken legs in, which wasn't difficult at all. Heath also had some scallions, so he quickly served the braised chicken legs, egg fried rice, and scallions. This time, he planned to greet the guests himself, since they were all old acquaintances of his.
Just as Heath brought it out, he saw an Alakazam sitting on a chair, smiling and greeting him. Heath recognized the Alakazam as soon as he saw its face. Who else could it be but Mr. Kod?
“Oh my old buddy, I swear if you don’t come back to Evergreen to do business, I’ll kick your ass with my leather shoes!” Mr. Codd greeted Heath with a smile.
"Oh my old Cod, I swear on Aunt Sam's clothes, stop speaking with that 'translationese' tone!"
Chapter 1135 Old Friends
"Are you planning to open a shop in Evergreen City, Heath?" Mr. Codd asked Heath with a smile. Mr. Yaning, standing beside him, also looked at Heath curiously. After all, Mr. Yaning was very curious about this question. Heath was a boy who came from Evergreen City, and every old customer of Evergreen City cared about this young chef. They wished he could stay in Evergreen City. Although there were people running pancake and fried rice shops in Evergreen City after Heath left, they just couldn't taste the same flavor as Heath's. Therefore, every old customer of Evergreen City missed Heath, especially after hearing that Heath's cooking skills were becoming more and more amazing. Regular customers were even more eager for Heath to open a shop in Viridian City, but after hearing Mr. Codd's question, Heath shook his head. Of course, he couldn't stay in Viridian City forever. Not to mention that he had triggered travel to every region of the League and needed to go to the Sinnoh region, even without a mission, Heath wanted to see Cynthia's grandmother first. Last night, Cynthia shyly told him that she could only have children after getting married. Heath was so excited after hearing that he almost couldn't sleep all night, and only slowly fell asleep later. But now Heath was also eager to see his grandmother and quickly set a wedding date.
“Without you in Evergreen, it feels like there’s no point in staying here,” Mr. Codd sighed. Yaning, however, didn’t think it was that exaggerated. After all, even without Heath, Yaning was busy with work every day. It was just that not being able to eat Heath’s cooking was a sad thing. Yaning actually missed Heath’s food quite a bit, but it had been a long time since he’d had it. Even his wife had been asking him about Heath. Thinking of this, Yaning ordered another identical set meal to take home. He planned to bring it back for his wife and enjoy it while Heath was here. He now realized that Heath’s cooking skills had indeed improved a lot. A simple bowl of fried rice had been transformed by Heath into something he couldn’t afford. Yaning felt that even the food at the five-star hotel where his wife’s brother got married wasn’t as good as Heath’s.
Heath couldn't do anything about it, since he really couldn't stay in Evergreen City. However, he could come back occasionally. After all, he had the Anywhere Door, so coming to Evergreen City was like a trip, which would be a pretty good thing.
"Speaking of which, when did Mr. Giovanni and Ms. Sabrina get together?" Heath asked curiously, trying to change the subject. Heath felt that continuing the discussion would undermine his hard-won resolve. Hearing Heath's question, Kod immediately launched into a long explanation. Heath looked at Kod with a strange expression, as Kod's words made it seem as if he had personally witnessed how Giovanni and Sabrina got together. Seeing Heath's confused look, Kod explained that he actually lived across from Giovanni's house, so he had indeed witnessed Giovanni and Sabrina's situation that day. This made Heath's expression somewhat odd. He really hadn't expected Giovanni to live near Kod. After all, if a Psychic Pokémon accidentally discovered Giovanni's secret, wouldn't Giovanni be at a huge disadvantage? However, Heath realized he was overthinking it; the League prohibited such situations.
Firstly, the houses are made of insulating materials, which can prevent Psychic Pokémon from seeing through things or anything like that. Moreover, Giovanni is very strong, so if a Psychic Pokémon were to peek, Giovanni would definitely be able to detect it. And don't forget that Giovanni also has a Beedrill, which is a Bug-type Pokémon and quite adept at dealing with Psychic Pokémon. So, Kod wouldn't be idly spying on Giovanni. It can only be said that Sabrina was indeed standing at Giovanni's doorstep that day, which is why Kod saw her. If it weren't for that, Kod probably wouldn't have known so clearly. This makes one wonder what to say.
After entertaining Mr. Codd and Yaning, many more guests entered Heath's food truck, keeping him very busy. He didn't have time to be sentimental or think about anything else; his priority was to entertain the guests. However, Heath underestimated his standing in the hearts of the people of Evergreen City. It wasn't until evening that Heath finally got some rest. He wearily closed the door, sat down in a chair, and let out a long sigh. There were so many guests today, but why hadn't the reward for entertaining guests appeared yet? It couldn't be that the guests hadn't all arrived, could it? But he had already put up a "Closed for Business" sign.
"Heath?" A familiar voice. Heath was startled. He had already closed the door, so how could he hear someone else's voice? But when he turned his head, Heath knew why. He saw a girl peeking in. Her body was still outside, but her head was inside. This scene was undeniably a little creepy, but Heath wasn't surprised. After all, he knew who this girl was. She was also a Officer Jenny, and a bound spirit who could only move within Evergreen City. Heath remembered that her name was Officer Jenny.
"Sister Qian? What are you doing here?" Heath asked curiously, but then slapped his forehead. He felt he must have made a stupid mistake. After all, Officer Qian was a landbound spirit from Evergreen City, so it wasn't surprising that she would see him. It was like seeing an air conditioner repairman and asking him what he did for a living. What kind of job could she possibly have? That was such a stupid question, and Officer Qian's expression turned strange.
"Ahem, don't worry about the details, they're all pretty much the same anyway. Sister Qian, would you like something to eat?" Heath asked with a smile. After hearing Heath's question, Qian looked at him with a strange expression before crawling inside. Once inside, Qian looked around curiously. Heath's food cart had expanded considerably, which she found quite novel. However, after Heath asked again, Qian hesitated for a moment before telling him what she wanted to eat. What she wanted was very simple: jianbing guozi (Chinese crepe) and bubble tea. Heath nodded and went to cook for her.
Chapter 1136 Farewell to Officer Jenny
"Would you like anything added?" Heath asked Officer Jenny, even though he knew her preferences and tastes. He asked anyway, and for some reason, it brought him a sense of peace. A strange feeling stirred within him. He wondered if he'd relied too much on the system when cooking. With the system, he only needed to follow its instructions. But what if he couldn't see the food? How would he cook then? That was the question. Thinking about this, Heath remembered his mission: preparing a divine meal for the gods. It was similar—difficult and troublesome. He couldn't see the gods' tastes. Perhaps it was time to start cooking without considering their preferences. Maybe that way, he could create truly perfect food?
"Hmm... bacon and eggs, and could you add some bee pupae? I really like bee pupae." Officer Jenny hesitated for a moment before speaking to Heath. Heath nodded upon hearing this. Although the addition was a bit strange, it wasn't unacceptable. He knew how to make bee pupae, and he had bought some at the Super Department Store before, just out of curiosity. But unexpectedly, they had come in some unexpected use, which was truly both funny and frustrating.
Bee pupae are a very special food. As the name suggests, they are bee pupae. Depending on the type of bee, they can be further subdivided. For example, in the Pokémon world, there are Beedrill pupae. However, not many people eat them because Beedrill pupae are also a type of Pokémon and are somewhat poisonous. Therefore, not many people are willing to eat them. At least, Heath herself doesn't eat them much. The taste is terrible, and it makes her tongue numb. So, it's not very suitable as a staple food. But since Officer Jenny has already decided to eat them, Heath will naturally prepare them for her using normal bee larvae. However, of course, she can't just put them on the food directly. Bee pupae are usually deep-fried to improve their texture and flavor.
After finishing, Heath served it to Officer Jenny, then returned to the kitchen to wash her utensils and dishes. The entire dining car fell silent, save for the occasional soft smacking of Officer Jenny's food, like a teacher chewing wood. Heath glanced up at Officer Jenny and noticed she was eating while lost in thought, seemingly preoccupied with something. Heath was curious; what was Officer Jenny doing? Since meeting her, she had mostly been all smiles, seemingly invincible. But now, she appeared indecisive, even possessing a delicate beauty, which Heath found somewhat unsettling.
"Sister Qian, what's wrong?" Heath asked Jun Sa Qian curiously. After all, she was a ghost, and he couldn't find out Jun Sa Qian's feelings through others, so he had to ask her himself. After hearing Heath's question, Jun Sa Qian looked up at him with a complicated expression, which made Heath even more confused. So what happened? Why didn't he know? But Heath soon found out because Jun Sa Qian spoke.
"Actually, I discussed it with the official in charge of soul transfer in Evergreen City. After I eat your delicious food, I'll go reincarnate." Officer Sassoon swallowed the jianbing guozi in her mouth, then looked at Heath with a complicated expression. Heath's expression also became strange. What the heck? So he's going to help Officer Sassoon pass on to the afterlife? No wonder Officer Sassoon looked at him so strangely. If it were him, he would also feel very strange. But Heath himself didn't know either. Who knows that eating a meal can help someone pass on to the afterlife these days? He didn't come from a Chinese cooking show or a food war show. The food he made was just delicious, without any special effects, and he didn't add any strange computer parts.
“But it’s not your fault. Whether I eat or not is my own decision. I’m tired of living in this world. I have no friends, and no one can see me. Although I can do whatever I want every day, and I even created an online game account to communicate with others, I still miss the days when I was Officer Jenny. Although it was hard, it was almost over. So, coming here today was my own decision.” Officer Jenny said seriously, and Heath fell silent after hearing it.
He could generally understand Officer Jenny's feelings, although to be honest he couldn't quite understand them either. But after listening to what Officer Jenny said, he felt that it was quite normal for her to make such a decision.
Not surprising.
"...So, is this the last meal?" Heath asked Officer Sassin, who paused for a moment before nodding. Although she could continue enjoying her life in Evergreen City, Officer Sassin had no such intention. She was exhausted. Although she could play games and do other things, she still felt lonely. She couldn't attend any gatherings because no one could see her. She could only make her presence felt online. But watching her friends leave the game and go AFK for various reasons filled her with deep sadness. She wanted to connect with others, to have a true friend, to party together, to live together, to chat happily, to go shopping, to participate in offline game events, instead of being unable to do anything like this.
"Eat so much, is there anything else you want to eat?" Heath looked at Officer Jenny and asked gently, but received no answer. Then he noticed that Officer Jenny was glowing. This Miss Officer Jenny, who had lived in this world for a long time, was finally leaving this world. Heath remained silent. Officer Jenny smiled and waved to him, then closed her eyes and turned into a beam of light in front of Heath, disappearing from sight.

Chapter 1137 The Grand Finale
Heath's business eventually had to come to an end.
He finished entertaining everyone for the day and received a very special reward, but he wasn't in the mood to use it. Although he could use it to see Officer Jenny's future story, Heath felt it wasn't really necessary. Sometimes life needs some surprises, just like he never expected to run into Sister Feng and Sister Ling when he was about to close the door. Even Officer Jenny, the experienced driver, was there, which surprised Heath.
While Heath stayed in Evergreen City, many things happened, including his encounter with Mr. Sakaki and Ms. Sabrina.
"Heath? Why are you back in Evergreen City?" Looking at the beaming Giovanni in front of him, Heath glanced at Sabrina without saying a word. Sabrina was holding Giovanni's hand happily and touching her belly. Heath couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when he saw this. It seems that Mr. Giovanni has an offspring.
"Mr. Giovanni, I'm planning to leave the Kanto region and travel to the Sinnoh region, so I'm coming back to Viridian City to visit everyone." Heath chuckled and ruffled Farfetch'd's hair. Farfetch'd was excitedly holding up its champion's plaque, showing off to Giovanni. Farfetch'd had finally won the cooking competition, successfully slapping the face of that so-called master chef and making him lose face. However, Heath thought it was quite good, since Heath himself didn't think much of that master chef. He was good at performing, but his cooking skills were mediocre.
"Oh, I see... Farfetch'd, I watched your show, it was amazing." Giovanni laughed heartily. Heath quietly watched Giovanni, looking at his face. This was the first time such a genuine smile had appeared on Giovanni's face. Before, Giovanni's smiles always seemed strangely incongruous, as if they weren't his true emotions. But now, Giovanni didn't give that feeling. Heath was genuinely happy. Heath looked at Giovanni and then at Sabrina, wondering if Giovanni, the future owner of the Rockets, would give up causing trouble and start clearing his name because of their children? If that were the case, it would be great, because the future would be completely different.
However, that's a matter for the future. Heath didn't know much about these things. After chatting with Giovanni for a while, Heath went back. He was packing his things because tomorrow was the day he was leaving Viridian City for the Sinnoh region. He couldn't not go, after all, he had been in Viridian City for a full three months.
These three months were spent with Sister Feng and the others. Sister Feng and the others applied for an extended leave, which was approved by the Officer Jenny family, since Officer Jenny and the others did have a legitimate reason. However, Sister Feng and the others left afterward. Before leaving, Sister Feng earnestly told Heath that she would definitely come when he got married. Heath was very happy about this, and he naturally hoped that Sister Feng could come, since she was his elder, and the closest elder to him. In addition, Heath also saw many old friends.
Just as Heath was about to close the door, he heard a knock. When he opened the door, there was no one outside. Looking down, he saw an Arbok flicking its tongue at him, with Rattata and Meowth nearby, happily greeting him.
"You little guys, I haven't seen you all for a while. Did you not want to see me?" Heath smiled and took out some food, bringing it over and placing it in front of the group of stray Pokémon. Heath hadn't seen these cute little guys before and was wondering if they had all been adopted. He didn't expect to run into them now.
"Hiss!" Arbok hissed, though Heath couldn't understand it. But he could see the longing in Arbok's eyes. Heath smiled and ruffled Arbok's head. It had been so long since they'd last met, and now he could finally put an end to his longing. After giving Arbok and the others plenty of food, Heath reluctantly closed the door. He lay on the sofa in the living room, looking out the large French windows at the gradually quieting Evergreen City, and suddenly felt a mix of emotions.
"Cynthia," Heath called out, and Cynthia's little head immediately came close to his face.
"I've been on this journey for so long, and to be honest, leaving Evergreen City now is a really hard feeling to describe..." Heath took a deep breath and looked at Evergreen City outside. This quiet city held too many memories for him, and these memories formed a bond that held his hand, which made him really uncomfortable when it came time to part.
“That’s life, isn’t it? Countless people come and go on a journey.” Cynthia pinched Heath’s cheek. Heath smiled. Of course he knew, so he turned over and picked Cynthia up, then walked to the driver’s seat, opened the Anywhere Door, and accompanied by a warm light, Heath’s food truck arrived in the Sinnoh region, Snowpeak City, a city that is snowy all year round.
A new journey has begun.
……
"Dad, Mom! I will definitely become a Pokémon Master! Just like Ash!" A particularly cute girl clenched her fists and said angrily. In front of her, a gentle blonde woman was smiling at her, while a man sitting next to her gave her a perfunctory "Go for it!"
"Heath! You don't even care that your own daughter is going on a trip?" The woman's heart ached when she saw her aggrieved daughter, and she shouted angrily at the man next to her.
"Why should we care? Her sister Ho-Oh is still out there. Didn't Ash say he'd bring his son to travel with Xixing?" the man said helplessly. He really didn't understand what there was to worry about. And didn't he see the Poké Ball in his daughter's hand? What's in it? Hoopa! That guy is super strong. A trainer who travels with Hoopa, and he has an uncle who is a Pokémon Master guiding him. The man really didn't know how stupid his daughter had to be to not get the title of Pokémon Master.
"Oh? I heard that Xiaozhi's son is also ten years old this year." The woman's eyes darted around, and then she said with a smile.
The man paused for a moment, then silently stood up.
"Zoroark! Farfetch'd! Get ready to open for business! Gardevoir! Charizard! Go put up the sign outside! Mew! Call the big guy who's having a concert back!" the man shouted, rolling up his sleeves.
