Crossing the azure as a black dragon

Helena shook her head.
"Companies are participating...is no one stopping her?"
Black Dragon realized that this company's fighting style meant that going to the deep sea might not be the first time they would be wiped out.
"There's nothing we can do. She wanted to go last year, but she was stopped at the gate before she could leave. This year, she won't listen to anything we say."
Helena sighed.
"good."
Black Dragon almost laughed, but he held it in.
"It's alright, I'll participate too. I'll persuade the company to let her be a quiet aircraft carrier."
Black Dragon thought for a moment and offered a few words of comfort.
Helena glanced at the black dragon, her expression somewhat strange.
"I'm sorry to have worried you. I'm fine; it's just one more battle."
Helena gave a slight smile.
"We will definitely be able to return as a whole."
Black Flying Dragon nodded, very seriously.
"kindness."
Helena responded.
The two chatted for a while longer when Yuudachi ran back from outside, just in time to see Black Flying Dragon opening the door.
"Sister Long, where did you go just now?"
Yuudachi jogged over to the Black Flying Dragon.
"I went for a run and practiced swordsmanship for a while."
Black Flying Dragon opened the door, and the two entered.
"Yes, I just checked the mission center and saw some missions that go out to sea."
Yuudachi didn't ask any more questions and told Black Flying Dragon about some of the mission requests she had seen.
"That mission on the mining island looks interesting. Let's go pick it up tomorrow."
Black Dragon picked one of the tasks that Yuudachi had mentioned.
"Okay."
Yuudachi herself doesn't need the mission; she just wants money to buy delicious food.
What should we eat tonight?
Black Flying Dragon sat on the sofa, picked up a cookbook and flipped through it.
"Stewed potatoes with meat!"
Yudachi answered quickly.
"Okay, let's eat this."
Black Flying Dragon saw the recipe for sweet and sour pork ribs.
……
The next morning, Black Dragon and Yuudachi arrived at the mission hall, only to find that the mission to clear out the sirens near the mining island actually required three people. The two could only wait in the hall to see if they could catch someone they knew.
Have you had more cleaning duties lately?
Black Dragon looked at the mission board above its head with some boredom. Last time it came, transport missions made up the majority of the missions. Now, however, the Sirens' cleanup missions took up most of the missions.
"It seems like the number has increased in the last few days. There weren't this many when I took on the mission last time."
Xi Li nodded.
"That's great, you can get a bounty by shooting down sirens."
Black Dragon didn't pay any attention and began to scan the mission hall with his eyes.
Suddenly, she spotted a familiar red-haired man and immediately got up and walked over.
"Hey, here to do a mission?"
Black Dragon stopped Birmingham.
"Is there anything I can do for you?"
Birmingham looked up at the black dragon, her delicate face expressionless.
"Actually, I have a mission that's short one person. Do you want to team up?"
A quick explanation of the Black Dragon.
"What mission?"
Birmingham inquired.
"Clean up suspicious sirens near a mining island."
Black Dragon answered.
"can."
Birmingham nodded.
"This way, please."
Black Dragon turned and led the way, and soon the three of them received their mission cards.
"Let's go, and come back soon."
Black Dragon looked down at the quest card; this time, the quest card would take them directly to the quest location.
A perk for ship girls who are terrible with directions.
"Battle assignment?"
Birmingham looked at the black dragon.
"Ah? Oh, I'll handle the sirens of the main force, you guys handle the squads."
Black Flying Dragon paused for a moment, thought for two seconds, and then spoke.
"...Are you serious?"
Birmingham was somewhat speechless.
"Uh, I've never been a team leader before, why don't you assign tasks?"
Black Dragon was somewhat embarrassed.
"No need for trouble, just follow your instructions."
Looking at Black Dragon's simple-minded expression and considering the man's fighting prowess, Birmingham didn't even bother to explain.
"Haha, I'll definitely make it up when I have the chance."
Black Dragon chuckled twice, then led Birmingham and Yuudachi to the dock, and began sailing into the distance following the instructions on the mission card.
"The mission description is rather vague, so let's just take out all the Sirens we encounter."
After running out of the safe zone, Black Dragon launched a reconnaissance aircraft and spoke to the two people beside him.
"Act within your means."
Birmingham had no objection.
The three of them usually had reconnaissance missions, so I don't know if the person who posted the mission was drunk and wrote "sweeping away sirens".
After leaving the safe zone, the mission markers continued deeper into the area. The three of them headed north and it took them nearly two hours to reach the mission location.
The destination is an island that appears to be made of rocks from a distance, with several smaller islands scattered around it, making for a rather pleasant view.
"This is it, but why haven't we found any Sirens?"
Black Dragon looked at the mission card in his hand, which showed that he had arrived, and then ordered the reconnaissance plane to search around. They didn't find a single Siren within a radius of dozens of miles.
"Perhaps the Sirens have left, since mass-produced models don't have intelligence."
Birmingham had anticipated this situation.
"Aren't there any sirens?"
Yuudachi was also somewhat disappointed.
"Go take a walk around to make sure it's safe before you go back to hand in your mission."
Birmingham said.
"Ok."
Black Flying Dragon sighed. "If there's no money, there's no money. At least there's some financial subsidy."
The three immediately prepared to circle the island, but after traveling a short distance north, the black dragon spotted the Sirens' party.
"Prepare for battle. There are Sirens 60 nautical miles away. It seems someone is surrounded. Let's go closer and take a look."
Black Dragon had been surrounded by Sirens more than once or twice, and as soon as she saw the Sirens' formation, she realized that something was wrong.
"Act within your means."
Birmingham said something else, then took out his communicator and contacted the port area.
Should we fight?
Yuudachi was somewhat excited.
"Don't rush, it's still daytime. The situation with the Sirens is very strange, and we haven't heard any cannon fire. Wait for reinforcements."
"Black Flying Dragon said."
The sirens are really good at setting traps; she's afraid she'll be tricked again.
