An ordinary black dragon, living a carefree life.

Chapter One: The Long Saber with its Own Sword Aura

Blue sky, white clouds.

On the vast sea, a silver-haired girl in a black trench coat stands on the water. To her right is a mechanical deck runway about her height, like a model of an aircraft carrier deck. Below this model is a mechanical knife rack with two long knives on it.

Before long, three planes flew over from the distance, circled above the girl's head a few times, and then landed back on the deck.

After the three aircraft reached the sky, they advanced in a triangular formation. The high altitude provided excellent visibility, and all the information gathered was immediately relayed back to Black Dragon.

Soon, five massive warships, their colors a mix of black and red, appeared within the aircraft's field of vision.

The two planes on the left and right broke formation and began searching for their target.

Before the Black Dragon could launch its attack, the light cruiser Sirens had already detected the aircraft's presence. The guns on the ship began to turn to defend against air attacks, and the other four Sirens also began their operations.

"Tsk."

The black dragon behind him narrowed its eyes slightly, controlling the aircraft to launch an attack, while its main body also began to rush to the scene.

Perhaps she was lucky; the anti-aircraft fire from the five Sirens did not shoot down her plane. Instead, her dive caused the two forward-positioned destroyers to burst into flames, and explosions began to rang out.

Unfortunately, during the distance-trading process after the bombing, both planes were hit in the wing. Black Dragon tried his best to adjust their direction, but they still landed in the water, and the explosion caused a lot of water to splash up.

The remaining aircraft circled in the air to draw fire, and two more aircraft quickly arrived and launched a second attack before being shot down. However, the two aircraft collided with one of the light cruisers, causing considerable damage to the cruiser.

While the aircraft were distracting her, Black Dragon arrived at the battlefield. The first thing she saw was three warships with flames rising from their hulls, occasionally causing chain explosions. Then there were pieces of aircraft floating on the ocean... these were her sunken carrier-based aircraft.

Such a scene was very impactful, at least for her, who was fighting for the first time.

However, Black Dragon was very calm. She observed the two Sirens that were still able to move and reached out to draw a long sword from the deck knife rack.

Charging into the battlefield of planes and cannons with a knife in hand would seem like an absurd scene from an observer's perspective. But the next moment, Black Dragon unleashed a jet-black sword aura that reached a height of ten meters, cleaving the Siren warship that was about to fire at her in two.

A deafening explosion suddenly erupted after a few seconds of silence, followed by a massive burst of flames and black smoke that shot into the sky. The Black Dragon took advantage of the situation and hid in the smoke, causing the remaining Siren to lose its target. A few seconds later, another sword aura was unleashed, sending that Siren to its doom.

With the two operational Sirens gone, the remaining three posed little threat and were quickly destroyed.

The entire battle lasted thirteen minutes from start to finish. Black Dragon won a 1v5 victory without taking any damage, but lost ten carrier-based aircraft.

"Wow, that's terrifying. If I had chopped any slower, I would be the one lying on the ground. I still need more training."

After the dust settled, Black Dragon looked at the wreckage of the Sirens with lingering fear.

"It's wonderful that the sword strikes itself have sword energy."

Black Flying Dragon looked down at the long sword in her hand. She was a genuine ordinary person, and the sword energy was inherent to the sword.

The girl with long blue hair at the front slowed down slightly and gave instructions to the two girls behind her.

The girl who responded to Helena was a girl with short purple hair, wearing a white coat and an oversized navy cap.
