"Stay with me?" Su Jian mumbled slightly. "Then... what about the child?"
"I'll spend time with you first." Ye Xing lifted Su Jian's hand and rubbed it against his cheek. "Then I'll spend time with the child."
"whispering sound……"
Although my eyes were closed, sleepiness began to creep in.
Upon hearing Ye Xing's words, Su Jian couldn't help but smile, her eyes crinkling like crescent moons.
"Really? I don't believe men."
"I will spend my whole life proving that my words are true."
"Is that so?"
"Yes!"
"Hmph!...I know, Mr. Ye."
"Mmm!" Ye Xing stood up and kissed Su Jian on the forehead. "Good afternoon, Miss Su."
"good afternoon……"
The room quickly fell silent. The peaceful sleeping faces were so beautiful that no one wanted to disturb them, for fear that any sound would startle the two adorable sleeping faces, one big and one small.
Ye Xing gently stroked Su Jian's hair, while her other hand lightly intertwined with Su Jian's fingers.
As Su Jian gradually drifted off to sleep, she lost consciousness and slowly fell asleep in bed with her child.
Beside them, Ye Xing sat silently, watching over his wife and child with a faint smile on his face that he had never seen before.
perhaps……
This is probably the best definition of happiness.
"Jianjian, baby."
"I love you all."
……
"I'm so happy~"
Standing at the door of the ward, I couldn't bear to go in and disturb them.
Xu Momo's eyes lit up with excitement and envy, and she couldn't help but giggle like a loving mother.
In front of her, Su Wei quietly watched his sister and her family of three being so happy, and stood there without going in.
His gaze was gentle, but it was unclear what he was thinking.
Xu Momo noticed this gaze, and suddenly the smile on her face gradually faded, replaced by self-blame and guilt.
Let's not disturb such a beautiful moment.
Looking at the scene before him, Su Wei smiled slightly, took a few steps back, and slowly led Xu Momo away.
She was also holding many baby supplies in her hands.
Xu Momo took Su Wei's hand, and the two walked to a deserted corner of the corridor.
Just as she stopped, Xu Momo suddenly lowered her head: "Awei, do you... really like children?"
"Huh?" Su Wei blinked after a moment of surprise. "Mo Mo, you...?"
"I'm sorry... I can't have children, we can't have a child of our own... I'm not even a normal woman! I..."
"I don't allow you to say whatever you want about yourself! And I don't care!"
Suddenly his expression changed, Su Wei abruptly hugged Xu Momo and shook his head fiercely.
"I don't care, I don't care about having children! I only want you, and I only love you! Don't overthink it! Momo... please don't bring this up again from now on, okay?"
"I..." Xu Momo forced a smile and nodded, then finally sighed, "Awei, you really..."
"As long as the two of us can be together, that's enough."
"I... um!"
After a long, long silence, Xu Momo finally nodded.
Su Wei across from them finally smiled and said, "How about this, let's go eat first and come back later."
"it is good!"
Nodding, Xu Momo immediately took Su Wei's hand and headed towards the corridor.
She had only taken one step when she suddenly frowned.
"Hmm?" Su Wei paused in confusion, then immediately frowned with worry. "Mo Mo, are you alright? Are you feeling unwell?!"
"I don't know, I..."
Shaking her head with a troubled expression, Xu Momo looked up, completely bewildered.
The next second, she suddenly felt something rising up in her throat.
She immediately covered her mouth and gagged violently, letting out a retching sound: "Ugh—!"
Su Wei: "Huh??!!!!!"
The two stared at each other, their eyes meeting in an instant.
This book is finished.
Chapter 666 Author's Closing Remarks
This story has officially come to an end!
First of all, as usual, I'd like to recommend Celery's new book, "After He Caught Me, I Was Forced into Marriage." It's already been released, and I hope you can support it! Thank you!
Now let's get down to business.
The earliest prototype of the book "I Became a Teen Idol After Being Persecuted" was actually at least seven or eight years ago. It was the earliest work I wanted to write and the first idea I wanted to create.
But I was very busy at the time, and for various reasons, I didn't start writing. Later, I wrote some other works such as "From Boss to Beauty", but I never got around to writing about this earliest idea.
There are many reasons for this.
The main problem was that she lacked experience in many areas at the time, so after thinking about it, Celery felt that she might not be able to handle urban fiction yet and needed some time to settle down and accumulate experience.
Around the time "The First Young Master Became a Woman" was finished, Celery felt she could start writing, so before she began, she shared her ideas with her editor and asked if she could write it.
The result was unexpected. Generally speaking, authors like Celery, who have written several completed novels, can get contracts directly for their works. But that time, when faced with my idea, the editor politely declined several times without explicitly rejecting it, but remained silent without saying anything. He just reminded me that entertainment novels were really unpopular on Pineapple Bun and nobody read them.
Actually, Celery knew this too, because I searched online later and found that Pineapple Bun has almost no real entertainment novels. Even if there are, they are only a few favorites, and people have no interest in this kind of novel.
Thinking about the editor's well-intentioned advice, I pondered it carefully and felt that perhaps it really wasn't the right time.
Just as she said, entertainment novels are extremely niche on Pineapple Bun, especially since the first half of this book features a "transvestite" protagonist (whose identity is not publicly revealed). This will definitely deter many readers, as many will find it too disturbing and won't want to see the truth about the protagonist's body revealed.
So the idea was temporarily abandoned.
But in the time that followed, Celery encountered many setbacks in life and entered an unprecedented low.
Readers who have read "Macho Man" and "I'm a Trash Who Can Only Survive by Acting Cute" should know that during the writing of these two books, Celery had some health problems and often had to take long car rides to see a doctor. Therefore, the writing process was intermittent and somewhat restless. The hiatus of "Macho Man" was also related to this.
Of course, the severe flop and lack of interest in "Men in Arms" was also a blow.
With even making a living a problem, Celery had no choice but to quickly start another book, "Selling Survival." The initial results seemed to be quite good, and everything in life seemed to be slowly getting better.
Like a redemption after a low point, after suffering a blow, everything cleared up, and Celery suddenly felt that she had passed through the darkest moment, and that she had made it through.
Because it was such a coincidence, everything suddenly started to get better.
But it was also too coincidental that some problems arose in my life immediately afterward, and a series of unfortunate events came one after another like a flood, one after another, which made me very anxious and upset. Then, the sales of "Selling the Fool" were still not good. At the same time, more and more things in my life, everything collapsed completely.
That was the first time Celery felt that everything in her life had lost its luster.
Health, career, dreams, family, a series of misfortunes big and small... and so on and so forth, there are just too many to count.
At the same time, everything that was originally developing in a positive direction collapsed and crumbled, and this happened continuously and without any warning.
I always thought I could handle it, but after a whole year of mental exhaustion, I realized I really couldn't hold on any longer.
I didn't collapse during my most painful moments, nor did I allow myself to become lazy and decadent, but I still succumbed to the persistent, day-and-night nightmare of extreme unease and anxiety that haunted me.
During that time, Celery was completely in despair. She was in a daze every day, and her mental and physical condition were seriously problematic. She suffered from insomnia and anxiety, and completely lost her desire for everything. She just stared blankly and felt helpless every day.
Fortunately, I still managed to finish writing "Selling the Grim Reaper". I managed to push "The Manly Man" to nearly 800,000 words. Then, Celery became lost, spending her days in a daze and worrying about something she didn't know.
It was at this time that Celery finally decided to unearth this work that had been buried for many years, a work that she dared not write, could not write, was not allowed to write, and was difficult to write.
Since things can't get any worse anyway, and everything is already so terrible, I might as well write a book that I want to write and that I feel I can put my heart into!
Just like the Taoist philosophy, go with the flow and do nothing, yet accomplish everything.
Actually, when writing "Persecution", Celery was still in a problematic state from beginning to end. She often fell into extreme anxiety and confusion, and repeatedly teetered on the edge of stopping updates and abandoning the project. Even now, when she starts a new book, she is still going back and forth.
Celery herself looked back and found it hard to believe that she could write so many funny and humorous plots and content in such a repressed state.
Sometimes when I look at the previous chapters, I feel a sense of unfamiliarity and wonder how I came up with these plots. But luckily, this book is what I wanted to write, so I persevered and I am very satisfied with the final product.
It captured about 70-80% of what I had in mind, and I was already very happy with that.
The initial idea for "Persecution" was to write about a young, already popular idol who, due to an accident, is found out to be intersex, causing all his female fans to leave, and then the young idol begins his path to stardom.
Celery didn't follow her initial plan for two reasons: first, she later felt dissatisfied because her ideas had changed over the years and the environment had changed; second, she saw a recommendation for "Backstreet Girls" online.
Many readers have said that this book is very similar to "Backstreet Girls". I don't think there's anything to hide. This book did indeed draw inspiration from it, and I told the editor directly when I started writing the book.
However, there's one thing I need to clarify: I only read the promotional materials and introductions for "Back Street Girls," and I haven't actually read the comic itself.
Readers who followed "The Beauty" during its early stages should know that I have a kind of fastidiousness in this regard. I would absolutely not allow myself to plagiarize others, even if there are signs of plagiarism. For example, some people said that "The Beauty" was similar to "Battle Through the Heavens," but the truth is that I have never actually read "Battle Through the Heavens." This is because I used to have a serious rebellious streak; the more popular something was, the less I would read it.
Moreover, I feel that since this idea can be integrated with my original thoughts, I will be even less likely to look at it, because people always subconsciously write down what they have read, so the best way is to directly refuse and not look at it.
As one singer said, he doesn't listen to any songs before writing them, because it's easy to get lost in the process.
So this book is indeed inspired by Backstreet Girls, but I haven't read the comic. The content is definitely Celery's original work, and as an author with a strong sense of creative integrity, Celery must state this.
On the other hand, the success of "Persecution" was just as Celery had expected.
Pineapple Bun wrote entertainment novels that nobody read, and the beginning was very "toxic". In addition, some "Ash Readers" took a few glances and said that the book was a disgusting book that supported capitalists. Perhaps Celery's writing was not good enough, etc. The performance of "Persecution" can only be said to be very average at its best, and most of the time it can be said to be very bad.
However, Celery felt that this result was already good enough. She was satisfied and truly content.
