How did you know I was here?
"A suspicious person in a green shirt just ran up to me and told me to hurry up!"
They argued like children playing house, and the topics they discussed weren't anything profound—just mundane everyday matters like how much Mora a fish cost, discounts, and so on. These trivial things seemed so distant to the woman, like they were on the other side of a river.
The afterglow of the sunset shone on them as they laughed and talked.
That inexplicable feeling of irritability grew stronger and stronger.
The woman thought her heart was like an ice cave, that the centuries-old ice of the evil eye had extinguished the flames in her heart, and that she would hardly have any emotional fluctuations anymore.
Without a doubt, this person is an enemy of the Fools, and keeping him alive is an obstacle. He should be eliminated for both public and moral reasons.
But killing them silently is a bit difficult now.
One was fine, but then another one came.
Killing them is easy, but if it can't be done instantly,
That would be meaningless.
It will definitely be exposed.
The Fools cannot openly antagonize the Knights now; they have a greater mission to accomplish than killing one or two pawns.
Was it that poet who went to deliver the message...?
The woman's eyes, hidden behind the gleaming gold mask, were cold and menacing, but in the end, she clicked her tongue softly.
Qingye Fengyin vaguely sensed something, and in his unwavering perception, he caught a glimpse of that wavering murderous intent. He subconsciously raised his head and looked into the distance.
At the far end of the horizon, a noble figure appeared.
[Fools] Executive Officer, Kiyono Fuyuki's enemy.
Miss.
The woman wore a red, trailing gown with two ribbons hanging from her waist like burning flames. A red, butterfly-shaped mask covered her face, and her pale eyes calmly gazed at Qingye Fengyin. Perhaps sensing his gaze, she parted her thin lips slightly and said mockingly:
"The next time we meet, it will be the time to kill you."
She casually uttered those words, her figure slowly fading away, her slender silhouette melting into the sunset, about to transform into countless fiery butterflies and depart.
That woman is still so irritable.
Are all the executors of the Fools like this?
That guy called 'National Collapse' is also...
The injuries inside my body haven't fully healed because of this woman.
But even without this injury, he wouldn't have lasted much longer anyway.
If it continues to wear and tear like this, it might truly become a 'short-lived ghost'.
Seeing that the woman was about to completely dissipate, Kiyono seemed to have thought of something, and he called out loudly in the distance:
"Hey."
"If you really kill me, remember to take my heart with you."
The woman did not respond; she may not have even heard the words. The evening breeze swept by, the fireflies dispersed, and as far as the eye could see, there was nothing left but the howling of the cold wind.
She left before she could finish speaking.

To avoid any gaps in the chapter count, this is another two chapters combined into one, so please don't scold me for only updating once a day... Waaah!
No, there really isn't...
Every chapter that is updated only once a day is actually a combination of two chapters.
...Except for the day I watched the Argentina final, that was just a lazy day I took the day off, hehe (shy).
Volume 1: Author's Note on Launching the Book
Author's note upon product launch.
Wow!
Well, actually, I don't have much to say.
This book was started during a period of great tranquility, on November 26th. It's been almost a month now, and it's time for it to be published. Other authors from the same period published theirs in about twenty days. It's an honor to have been able to journey with everyone for this long.
To be honest, the book's success exceeded my expectations.
On the first day of the book's release, it received 500 favorites; three days later, it topped the click charts; at 10,000 words, it received 10,000 favorites; and it reached number one on various charts... Everyone was very supportive, and all the data looked great.
My thoughts on launching the product: I only dare to say some things now that it's officially on sale.
To be honest, I'm not a newbie.
But I'm not an expert anymore. My last book was a year ago, and I had a long hiatus in writing.
They're like Schrödinger's newcomers.
I won't make any grand promises about this book. To be realistic and down-to-earth, I can't possibly abandon it now that it's finished.
To the readers who continue to support us, thank you for your trust and companionship. We will continue to provide more updates.
To the departing readers, I'd also like to offer a blessing: it's my favorite movie line.
—If I never see you again, good morning, good afternoon, good night.

Volume 1: Chapter 51 What Will I Leave Behind? (Two Volumes Combined)
"Temple of the Four Winds"
Qing Yefeng chanted.
Main Quest: Investigate the Temples of the Four Winds
[Reward: Memory Fragment Extraction]
This is the next task set by human reason.
Kiyono had pretty much figured out the pattern of the Human Principles mission, and the mission it set was related to the unfinished mission of Rustan in his previous life.
Kiyono gradually completes his unfinished work, slowly awakens his past memories, inherits the legacy that Kiyono Raimei has not yet inherited, and finally achieves great success. His memories return, and he dies amidst the wear and tear of time...
Bury all the causes and effects of the past.
This is what is called complete 'death'.
But every time Kiyono saw the words "reward," he couldn't help but feel frustrated. What kind of 'reward' was this...?
The more you reward someone, the worse their health becomes, right?
"That's right, it's the Temple of the Four Winds."
Jean, the Acting Knight Commander of Mondstadt and the Dandelion Knight, nodded to Kiyono.
Today, the deputy commander was wearing pure white armor with dandelion patterns on the edges, a deep blue cloak, and his hair was tied up. His cool and aloof face was full of seriousness.
At the founding of Mondstadt, the four wind guardians—the East Wind Dragon, the South Wind Lion, the North Wind Wolf, and the West Wind Eagle—were the oldest guardians of Mondstadt, and the Temples of the Four Winds are dedicated to these four guardians.
Now, with the changing times, the guardians of the Four Winds are completely different from those of ancient times, and the temples of the Four Winds have fallen into disrepair.
"The temple has been corrupted. The Wind Demon Dragon used the temple's unclean power to cause this terrifying dragon calamity."
"Miss Lisa, librarian of the Knights of Favonius, said with a light laugh."
The librarian had long, flowing chestnut hair, lazy eyes, and a languid tone of voice, like a kitten dozing in the summer sun.
Ying looked around, then around, and felt that she couldn't join in the conversation.
Because of her outstanding performance in the Mondstadt Dragon Plague, she was honorably summoned to be the 'Knight of Favonius,' an honor that clearly made the young girl very proud.
Of course, the generous allowance for honorary knights is key.
She stood smugly with her hands on her hips, ready to come up with a shocking statement to amaze everyone, demonstrate her abilities as an honorary knight, and show that she was worthy of the allowance.
They don't just eat the Knights' rice.
But the girl racked her brains and couldn't come up with any brilliant insights, so she just said whatever came to mind:
Do we need to purify four temples?
"No need~, we only need to purify three of the temples," Miss Lisa said with a light laugh, covering her mouth.
"why?"
"Because the temple of the Eastern Dragon has burned down."
Qin ended the topic.
"We don't need to purify it."
Her bright golden eyes were filled with a resolute look as she said earnestly:
"The battle will begin at noon tomorrow. I entrust this to you all."
-
The dragon temple has burned down...
Leaving the Knights of Favonius and walking along the quiet, peaceful streets of Mondstadt, Kiyono pondered what Jean had just said.
Dvalin burned out his strength...
He recalled the tears the dragon had shed that day.
Why did it shed tears?
Have I ever met Dvalin?
