Chapter 128 The Excitement of the Witch Heart Demon

With a wave of her hand, she erased all traces, even the corpse that Diana had nailed to the ground turned into dust and vanished, leaving only what she wanted to take. Diana grabbed what she needed, checked that nothing was left behind, and then leaped into the air, disappearing into the dense forest.

After Diana disappeared, a group of people slowly emerged from the dense forest. Looking at the completely unchanged environment, they swallowed hard, never expecting that such a fierce battle could end with that woman waving her hand and everything disappearing.

This is something that technology can no longer accomplish.

The T'Challa of this world, who had not yet become Black Panther, was unusually quiet, with a somewhat solemn expression.

What I saw before was really hard to accept at first.

The guy wearing the Black Panther suit wasn't some fake version in a shell; it was a genuine vibranium suit, something that couldn't be faked.

But apart from Wakanda, no other country would make a suit of vibranium; that would be a luxury for any other nation.

Except for Wakanda.

“The world is changing too fast,” T’Challa said in a voice only he could hear.

Meanwhile, Dormammu, who had been forced back into the Dark Dimension by Diana, was completely bewildered. When had a Dimensional Lord been so easily driven back to his homeland? This was utterly shameful, a shame that could only be washed away with that person's blood.

Now, news that he had been banished back to his own dimension by someone other than the Sorcerer Supreme has spread throughout all dimensions.

I don't know what those guys are saying about me, but Dormammu is definitely not going to show his face right now. Going out now would just make him a laughingstock.

"I heard they were driven back?" A weathered voice reached Dormammu's ears, accompanied by a strong smell of sulfur.

The smell made Dormammu feel nauseous, but what was even more repulsive was the creature that came with the smell—a creature filled with a foul stench.

Mephisto, Lord of Hell.

"What's wrong? Are you unhappy to see an old friend? I'm the first one to come and comfort you, so you don't have no one to confide in." Mephisto, dressed in a white suit, wearing a top hat, and leaning on a cane, walked into this dark dimension belonging to Dormammu, looking so conspicuous.

Dormammu didn't say a word, and turned the guy into a pile of dust. Even though he knew that the guy had sent a dispensable clone, at least he felt better.

"This isn't how you treat an old friend." Sure enough, that guy reappeared in Dormammu's dimension, dressed in a flashy outfit.

"Are you here to laugh at me, or to see if I'm so weak that I've swallowed up the Dark Dimension?" Dormammu said in a gruff voice, completely annoyed that this guy was now standing in front of him.

Mephisto wasn't as nervous as Dormammu; he knew perfectly well whether he could merge the Dark Dimension into his Nether Dimension. His purpose in coming was to see what kind of being had caused Dormammu to suffer such a loss without immediately retaliating.

"Wow, wow, wow!" Mephisto spread his arms out in an exaggerated manner, making a series of strange noises. "Can't you use that huge head of yours to think of something nice about me? Why do I have to come and see how weak you are?"

"I don't think there's any friendly relationship between dimensional lords, especially since you're from the Hell dimension." Dormammu didn't have a kind tone towards this guy. The Hell lords who obtain human souls through deception, temptation, and manipulation are no pushovers.

Compared to those guys, he was as pure as a white flower.

He has never been stingy with his power towards his followers, but he may not be so generous towards the lords of hell.

These guys, like the mages, have no credibility whatsoever.

"Then I won't disturb your rest any longer." Mephisto didn't linger, and after saying that, he disappeared into the dark dimension.

"Hmph~" Dormammu knew this guy was up to no good. Unsolicited kindness is always suspicious.

The fact that he left so decisively means he definitely already knows what he wants, probably some information about the guy who sent him back to the Dark Dimension.

Dormammu was right; Mephisto did indeed get what he wanted.

The faint mark of the one who forced Dormammu back into the Dark Dimension, though extremely faint, at least gave him some information.

Moreover, it allows him to locate that person at any time through this aura, ensuring that he can always keep track of that person's information.

“A powerful, delicious soul—absolutely something to drool over. This is fantastic.” Mephisto could feel every single…cell?—of his body, even just absorbing that wisp of energy, coaxing it into his very being. Those things were cheering and begging Mephisto for more, more of that person's soul, or energy.

Looking at his father's blissful expression, Wu Xinmo had no idea what his old man had obtained after his trip. But he understood that if even his father wanted something, it must be something irresistible, especially to demons like them.

But as Mephisto's son, he didn't dare ask his father what he had acquired. His old man might just beat him so badly he wouldn't be able to get out of bed for two weeks.

Mephisto opened his eyes and looked at his son, who had always harbored ambitions but dared not reveal them, and glared at the Witchheart Demon with some resentment.

He then waved his hand, signaling the child to leave.

Wu Xinmo also wisely prepared to leave his father's palace.

But Mephisto then called out to his son, "Wait."

Wu Xinmo had no way of figuring out his father's thoughts. He usually acted on a whim. As for why he had been called away now, perhaps there was something he wanted to tell him.

"Haven't you always wanted the Sanctuary Venganza Contract?" Mephisto stared intently at his respectful son, but he knew better than anyone his adopted son's ambition. He had always wanted to obtain the thing that could forge powerful magical artifacts. However, because he had never allowed him to go to the mortal realm, he had silently kept his desires hidden.

Wu Xinmo hadn't expected his father to be so blunt about this. He was terrified and almost knelt down to Mephisto to beg for mercy.

Mephisto simply waved his hand and continued speaking to the Witchheart Demon, "Now you can go to the mortal realm and find that contract. That thing is yours."

I found something better.

Mephisto naturally didn't say the second half of the sentence aloud, but silently added it in his mind.

Upon hearing this news, the Demon Lord was overjoyed and even forgot his fear of Mephisto for a moment, raising his head to stare intently at Mephisto sitting on the Skull Throne.

"Father, are you serious?"

Mephisto nodded without saying a word.

The Demon of the Witch Heart no longer wanted to stay in this hall for even a moment longer; all he wanted now was to quickly enter the mortal realm and obtain the Sanctuary Vangel's Contract.

Seeing Mephisto wave, he also quickly left the hellish palace.

Having just left the palace grounds, the Demon Heart of Witch quickened its pace and rushed towards the gate leading to the human world.

He can descend to earth using any means necessary to summon a demon.

"The Sanctuary Vympel Pact." A burning desire gleamed in the eyes of the Witchheart Demon.

Pollen allergy, late nights

o (╥﹏╥) o

Allergies are so uncomfortable, please understand.

Chapter 129 The Scientific Duo's Messed Up

While the two beings in Hell, one large and one small, began to pursue their own schemes, six months of peace had passed on Earth. There was no alien invasion, no so-called supervillains challenging any superheroes. It was a remarkably peaceful period, as if everything had returned to the days before Tony Stark famously announced himself as Iron Man.

However, the chain reaction caused by the alien invasion continues to affect the lives of everyone in New York.

Who knows when another alien invasion might strike this disaster-prone New York City? For now, they can only remain highly vigilant, lest they be too exhausted to even escape when faced with the next invasion.

Recently, gyms have sprung up like mushrooms in New York City, and they are all packed with people; none of them are losing money.

Everyone hopes to have a strong body, so that they can do everything more easily.

After completely destroying those so-called "Illuminati" from outer space, Diana returned home and handed the two items over to her two little ones.

Those two items were to their liking, except that the trident originally intended for Pietro was instead chosen by Little Wanda. Little Wanda disliked the Black Panther suit simply because the storage necklace on it didn't quite suit her taste; if it were just a simple necklace with a panther head, she might have accepted it.

Fortunately, the Black Panther suit suits Pietro's abilities quite well, since this time he won't get shot and die.

Diana, hugging a cushion and eating ice cream, watched the Hollywood-made stinky bat with great interest, especially when the bat got its comeuppance; a bright smile spread across her face. It wasn't until her alarm clock rang that Diana realized she needed to pick up her two little ones.

There's no way around it, sometimes watching your teammates get into trouble is quite amusing, and you might even watch it several times in a row.

At this moment, Diana was no longer driving the orange McLaren, but a Chevrolet Suburban, the same model as the one used by S.H.I.E.L.D.

However, compared to the vehicles used by S.H.I.E.L.D. field agents, this Suburban had a more down-to-earth feel. Perhaps it was because this car wasn't all black like those vehicles, but rather a bright yellow with black stripes.

It has a retro racing car feel to it.

"Hey, I finally saw your new car on the street. Picking Wanda and the others up from school?" Tony called as soon as they arrived at the gate of Midtown Middle School.

"Are you following me? Be careful, or I'll tell Pepper you're up to no good." Diana got out of the car, leaning against the side facing the school gate, and answered Tony's question. "Yes, there's still plenty of time, enough for me to even take a shower and change my clothes. So, you're tracking me, aren't you?"

“How could that be? Jarvis told me you drove that car away, that’s why I called you. After all, I designed that car for you, how could I not ask about the user experience?” Tony’s tone was quite sincere, almost unlike the Tony Stark that Diana remembered.

It's obvious that this guy is in some kind of problem, and it's something he can't solve on his own. He's just using the new car as an excuse to talk to Diana.

"Very good, genuine leather seats, full bulletproof protection, intelligent system. I like it very much, it's pretty much the kind of experience I'm looking for." Diana answered Tony's question about the car's user experience with a smile, without mentioning whether Tony had any problems. "I have to hang up now, Wanda and the others will be getting out of school soon."

"Wait, wait." Tony quickly stopped Diana from hanging up the phone. He could only reluctantly explain his true intentions to Diana, "Actually, if you're not busy later, you can come to the Insight Building. Banner and I have something we want to tell you."

"What kind of trouble have you guys gotten yourselves into?" Diana had always had unwavering faith in these guys' ability to cause trouble, and never doubted that they might one day blow the world up.

Even if it were just Tony alone, he could drag the world into an abyss, let alone the fact that it's Tony and Banner, with his seven PhDs, who are now involved in this mess.

Of course, Diana could honestly say that this whole affair was solely orchestrated by that megalomaniac, with Banner merely playing a supporting role.

He had just enjoyed a period of peace, and now Tony and his crew were able to create a major incident for him.

This period of time did not even exceed one year.

She truly experienced firsthand the incredible power of scientists to cause trouble; it was extraordinary. It's the same in every world. These guys, once they decide to cause trouble, can quietly pull off something massive.

That kind of earth-shattering, unexpected event.

"It's just a small matter, really, believe me. If you don't believe me, I can have Banner explain it to you." Tony clearly knew that what he said to Diana might not be very credible, so he could only drag out the honest Banner as a guarantee of credibility.

Before Diana could speak, Tony had already hung up and called back via video call.

“Look, Banner, you explain to Diana that it’s just a small matter.” Tony actually dragged Banner into the frame.

Banner in the picture looks a bit embarrassed, constantly rubbing his hands, looking just like a student caught doing something wrong by the teacher.

“Diana, well, it’s really a minor problem.” Banner’s expression was clearly not quite right.

Perhaps on the other side of the camera's view, Tony was frantically winking at this honest man, signaling him not to say the wrong thing.

"Banner?" Diana frowned, staring seriously at Dr. Banner on the screen. It was clear that she didn't trust Banner in this state either.

When have I ever seen a teacher make so many little gestures when they're telling the truth? Rubbing their hands, turning their head, pursing their lips.

“I suggest you tell the truth.” Diana narrowed her eyes, her gaze filled with a dangerous signal.

Banner's inner voice kept warning him that he had better tell Diana the truth, otherwise he would be the one to suffer in the end.

"So Tony and I built something, and then..."

"It's out of control, isn't it?" Diana covered her forehead, somewhat confused about what these two were thinking, managing to create something like this so quickly.

"No, it's just a small problem." Banner really didn't know how to bring this up.

"Explain yourself clearly, what exactly happened?" Diana looked at the school bell ringing, and really didn't want to play games with these two anymore. Right now, nothing was more important to Diana than picking up the two little ones.
