American comics start with asking Iron Man a question.

"To be precise, they're not just from other universes, they're from several other Spider-Man universes," Captain America added.

"Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Lizardman, Electro, wow!" Thor couldn't help but exclaim. "They all have cool nicknames. It seems that none of these people are ordinary."

“That’s right, they should all be enhanced users.” Scott Lang nodded emphatically. “And they’re enhanced users with weird and wonderful abilities. By the way, Thor, these nicknames aren’t cool at all, they just seem strange.”

"Scott, do I need to remind you? Your 'Ant-Man' is exactly the same style as those lizardmen and Doctor Octopus characters," Scott Lang added weakly from the side.

“What nonsense are you talking about? How can ‘Ant-Man’ be the same as Lizard Man? That’s hilarious.” Scott Lang chuckled, but his laughter soon faded. “Okay, they are the same.”

Don't laugh at your second brother, eldest brother.

"Alright, let's take a closer look at these candidates and see who might be the culprit," Captain America said to everyone.

This brought everyone back to normal.

One by one, everyone stopped chatting and focused their attention on the options on the big screen.

"Doctor Octopus? What a strange nickname. Is he an octopus-man? Does anyone know this doctor?" Thor couldn't help but feel a chill at the thought.

What would it be if an octopus and a human were combined?

Chapter 344 Monsters from Other Universes

Everyone in front of the screen looked at each other, and none of us were familiar with the name Doctor Octopus.

So everyone turned their attention to Captain America and Tony Stark.

One of them is an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., and some of the top scientists must have been paying attention to them.

The other is a scientist; I'm sure you've heard of his outstanding colleagues.

“I’ve never heard of that name before.” Captain America shook his head, then looked at Tony Stark. “Stark, what about you? Do you know him?”

"Wait a minute, I think I really do remember now."

Tony Stark pondered for a moment and said, "I think I met a guy like that at a scientific conference. He seemed to be a nuclear physicist, and his research seemed to be in atomic physics."

“And then?” Scott Lang asked, staring at Tony Stark.

“And then… that’s it.” Tony Stark shrugged. “That’s all I can remember about that name.”

“Great, we know this is someone who studies atomic physics. How does that help our judgment?” Strange shrugged.

“Atomic physics? I thought he studied biology. But what does physics have to do with octopuses?” Peter Parker scratched his head.

"Could it be because his name is spelled very similar to the word octopus?" Captain America wondered from the side.

“Okay, we’ve got some more information. The nickname ‘Octopus’ isn’t necessarily related to his abilities. Anything else?” Thor asked, glancing at Tony Stark again.

Unfortunately, Tony Stark couldn't come up with any more clues.

The clues we currently have are simply insufficient to allow us to make any judgments.

“This is really great, that’s all we really know.” Seeing the slight silence in the room, Thor couldn’t help but shrug.

“Mr. Thor, even if we do have enough clues, I don’t think it’s enough to make a judgment.”

Peter Parker then spoke up, "We're analyzing Doctor Octopus in our universe right now, but the question refers to Doctor Octopus in other universes. They might not be the same, right?"

“Yes, Peter, you’re right.” Tony Stark nodded. “But besides referring to them in our world, do we have any better options right now?”

With a single sentence, Peter Parker was rendered speechless.

Indeed, these characters are from other worlds, and they know absolutely nothing about them.

Currently, the only way for everyone to conduct analysis is to refer to relevant characters within this world.

Although, based on everyone's general experience, the same character in different parallel universes may have some differences.

It's like the three Spider-Men. The other two lost Uncle Ben, but the Spider-Men in their world don't even have Uncle Ben as a relative.

Thor couldn't help but laugh and complain.

Putting everything else aside, just look at the few contestants on site; half of them hold doctoral or master's degrees, including Tony Stark, Scott Lang, and Strange.

Needless to say, Dr. Banner had eight doctoral degrees!

Nobody knew who Maxwell was; nobody had ever heard of him.

The nickname "Electric Man" is quite suggestive, implying that this person possesses the ability to emit electrical discharges.

But knowing this doesn't seem to be of much use.

Let's sort this out.

Strange then summarized, "We now have four options: an octopus monster, a lizard monster, a lightning bolt monster, and a green demon. Okay, a bunch of monsters. So, can we glean from any details which of these monsters killed Aunt May, Peter Parker's aunt?"

Everyone present looked at each other, but no one could give a clear answer.

The analysis of this problem has stalled.

Because regardless of which option is chosen, the relevant information available to everyone is far too little, far too little, to allow for any effective analysis.

It's simply impossible to know where to begin.

"Choose Green Goblin! Everyone, if you ask me, choose Green Goblin!"

After a moment of silence, Peter Parker suddenly raised his head and spoke to everyone.

"Why?" Thor immediately stared at Peter Parker and asked, "Why the Green Goblin, and not one of the other three?"

"Everyone, take a close look at their nicknames. Can you spot anything? Octopus Man, Lizard Man, Electro Man... and then, Green Goblin!"

Peter Parker spoke to everyone with great enthusiasm.

“I’m sorry, I haven’t found anything, so Peter, why don’t you just tell us your thoughts?” Scott Lang urged Peter Parker.

"I mean, why isn't Green Goblin called Green Man? The word 'goblin' represents evil, right? So Green Goblin should be a bad guy, right?"

"As for the other three, although they are more like monsters, we can't call them bad people or evil just because they are monsters, right?"

Peter Parker explained quickly to everyone, and they immediately understood his logic.

“Although this judgment is a bit too simplistic and crude, it still makes some sense.” Strange thought for a moment and couldn’t help but nod. “We can assume for now that Green Goblin is a bad guy.”

"Really? Nicknames with the word 'demon' mean they're evil, but the others without it aren't? Well... we really don't have any other methods of analysis right now."
