The whole process went incredibly smoothly.

"Where is everyone? Such a big lab and not a single person is here?" Scott Lang couldn't help but complain out loud.

Such an important place was completely empty except for Tony Stark. Surely everyone must have gone out to eat?

"Arnim, is that you there?"

Scott Lang had just finished complaining when a voice suddenly rang out; finally, someone had appeared.

Upon hearing this, Tony Stark immediately put the Tesseract in his suitcase and put it away. Just as he finished doing this, he saw someone walking towards him.

Tony Stark glanced at it, and his expression changed, revealing that he was quite unsettled.

Without a doubt, the person who appeared was Howard Stark.

Tony Stark never expected to run into his father here!

He swallowed hard, suddenly tensing up like a child who had done something wrong, and turned to leave!

"The door's this way, buddy!"

But Howard Stark behind him called out to Tony Stark.

Tony Stark had no choice but to turn around and walk toward his father, steeling himself.

Throughout the entire process, Tony Stark remained stiff, his expression was rigid, and he looked incredibly unnatural.

“I’m looking for Dr. Zola. Have you seen him?” Howard Stark asked Tony Stark.

“No, I didn’t see anyone,” Tony Stark said as he walked toward Howard Stark.

Tony Stark casually placed the suitcase on the chair next to him and took out a badge that he had prepared beforehand. "I'm here to visit from MIT."

“Oh, MIT, what’s your name?” Howard Stark continued.

“Howard…” Tony Stark hastily came up with a name.

“Then I’ll remember that, Howard…?” Howard Stark asked Tony Stark again.

The other person's first name has been given, but their surname hasn't been mentioned yet.

"Potters!" Tony Stark thought for a moment and then used Pepper Potts' last name.

“I am Howard Stark!” Howard Stark extended his hand to Tony Stark.

Tony Stark awkwardly reached out and shook hands with his father, but due to his stiff movements, he accidentally grabbed one of Howard Stark's fingers!

“You don’t look too good, Potts!” Howard Stark noticed something and asked Tony Stark with keen eyes.

"I'm fine, I'm just too tired from working," Tony Stark said, making up a story.

"Want to get some fresh air?" Howard Stark pointed behind him.

Tony Stark, however, seemed lost in thought and didn't answer.

“Hey, Potts!” Howard Stark called out.

"Okay!" Tony Stark replied reflexively.

“Great, this way!” Howard Stark said to Tony Stark.

“Okay!” Tony Stark replied, and then walked straight toward the door.

He even forgot his most important purpose in coming to this place—he forgot to take the box!

"Would you like to take your suitcase?"

Howard noticed this and took the initiative to pick up the box and hand it to Tony Stark.

Tony Stark, watching from the screen, couldn't help but cover his face, feeling a burning sensation on his cheeks.

The way I looked at myself on the screen was truly unbearable; I looked like someone with an intellectual disability.

Tony Stark quickly glanced at the people around him and saw that they were all indeed holding back their laughter. If it weren't for the inappropriate occasion, they probably would have burst out laughing.

"Stark, is that idiot you? Hahaha, sorry, I really couldn't help it..." Thor couldn't help but burst out laughing.

"Stop! Thor, I don't want to hear a single word from you right now! I hate your voice, and I hate your laugh even more!" Tony Stark pointed at Thor and said viciously.

"Don't worry, buddy, I'll keep this footage a secret for you. I won't spread it around." Thor completely ignored Tony Stark's warning and said smugly.

Tony Stark and Howard Stark, father and son, chatted awkwardly all the way into the elevator.

"Flowers and sauerkraut, is there an important date tonight?"

Tony Stark had gradually calmed down by this point. He glanced at what Howard Stark was holding and couldn't help but ask.

“My wife is about to give birth,” Howard Stark said, “but I usually spend most of my time in the office.”

How far along is she in her pregnancy?

“I don’t know.” Howard Stark shook his head, then gestured the outline of a large belly. “Anyway, she can’t stand the sound of me chewing now, looks like I’ll have to go to the pantry to eat again.”

“I have a daughter,” Tony Stark said at that moment.

“My daughter is doing well.” Howard Stark nodded. “She’s unlikely to end up like me.”

The father and son actually started talking about parenting.

They walked and talked until they reached the exit.

"Let me ask you, were you nervous when the baby was born?" Howard Stark suddenly asked Tony Stark with a serious expression.

"I'm so nervous!" Tony Stark nodded deeply.

"Do you think you're qualified? Do you know how to operate that thing?" Howard Stark continued to ask.

“I really learned as I went, and I remembered how my dad did it,” Tony Stark shrugged.

"My dad, he solves everything with a belt."

“I used to think my dad was very strict with me, but now when I look back, I only remember the good memories, and he would occasionally say some insightful things.”

"Really? For example?"

Time is priceless.

"A wise fellow!"

“I’m telling you, the child isn’t even born yet, and I’m already willing to give everything for him,” Howard Stark said to Tony Stark.

Tony Stark was stunned.

Both the Tony Starks in front of the screen and the two on the screen were stunned.

As Tony Stark said, Howard Stark had always been very strict with him, and he once thought that his father didn't love him at all.

Even years after her father's death, she still harbored this prejudice against him.
