A Bite of Douluo Continent

It's pretty much what I expected.

Qi Han had already experienced the harshness of the three-star recipe rating system several times during this period of failure.

Therefore, it is perfectly normal that it cannot get full marks in terms of taste and cooking difficulty.

Although this dish has undergone countless improvements and modifications, it is still based on a original dish, so it is inevitable that some points will be deducted in terms of the originality of the cooking method.

As for the originality of the ingredients, since all the ingredients used this time were rare and precious natural treasures from the Yin-Yang Well of Ice and Fire, it received a perfect score.

Overall, a score of 88 is quite good, considering it's a three-star recipe.

If Qi Han were given some time, he could do even better; scoring above 90 wouldn't be impossible.

But he didn't want to wait any longer.

Six days have passed since Yu Lianxin left the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well.

This is because there are so many rare and precious materials in the Yin-Yang Well of Ice and Fire that it doesn't take too much time to find ingredients.

"Submit it, this is it."

"Please name the new recipe."

"Naming it..." Qi Han smiled. Although this dish had undergone countless improvements and was no longer like the original, he still wanted to use the name of the original dish.

"Leng Xiang Wan."

"Samsung recipe: Cold Fragrance Pills complete!"

"Recipe submitted successfully."

As Ruyi finished speaking, a task page suddenly popped up in front of Qi Han's eyes.

Promotion Quest: Break the Limits (Completed)

Task Rewards: Soul Power Level +2 (Claimable), 2 four-star random recipes (Claimable), Promotion Title: Senior Chef and corresponding privileges (Claimable).

"The rewards are quite substantial?" Qi Han's face showed a hint of surprise.

Rewarding two four-star random recipes in one go is quite rare.

Without hesitation, he pointed to the Soul Power Level indicator. As warm currents flowed through his meridians, Qi Han's Soul Power grew rapidly, and his Soul Power Level increased from Level 71 to Level 73.

Immediately afterwards, Qi Han opened two four-star random recipes, and a black roulette wheel instantly appeared in front of him and Ruyi.

Under the tense gaze of the two, the result of the roulette wheel soon appeared.

Four-star recipe: Crab with Egg White.

Four-star recipe: All Things.

In fact, Qi Han's collection of four-star recipes has not decreased but rather increased.

The main reason is that he learns four-star recipes rather slowly.

Even with a 240x time acceleration, it would still take him a month to master a four-star recipe. After all, he still needs to run his business and can't spend all 24 hours a day working on four-star recipes.

However, this problem will likely be alleviated as he becomes a senior chef.

After all, a master chef's time acceleration can double the speed.

After claiming all the other task rewards, Qi Han eagerly accepted the title of Senior Chef.

"Ruyi, if I remember correctly, there should be four privileges for a senior chef, right?" After glancing at Ruyi, Qi Han pondered for a moment before speaking, "First, random recipe drops will not include three-star recipes; second, the time flow rate in the training space will be increased to 480 times; third, the purchase privilege for two-star recipes will be unlocked; fourth, the right to set the price of dishes independently."

"There's a fifth one," Ruyi chuckled. "The host's permission to bring people into the system space and training space."

Ok?

Qi Han blinked. "So this is another surprise from you?"

“Yes, that’s right,” Ruyi said matter-of-factly.

"Alright then." Qi Han scratched his head.

Previously, no one except Qi Han himself could enter the system space, except for Zhuiyun and Gulu, who were soul beasts and were not restricted by this rule.

Now, Qi Han has the authority to bring people into the system space.

That's what they say, but in reality, Qi Han wouldn't easily bring anyone into the system space, after all, it's his biggest secret.

unless…

Qi Han's heart stirred slightly.

Unless he tells Yu Lianxin about this, perhaps he can bring her into the system space with him.

As for whether or not to do so, he hasn't decided yet.

"Ruyi, can you tell me the prerequisites for becoming a master chef now?"

"There's only one prerequisite for becoming a top-tier chef," Ruyi said with a smile, "Your soul power level must reach level ninety."

"Huh?" Qi Han blinked. "That simple?"

With only a soul power level requirement, isn't it a bit too easy for a master chef to advance?

"Don't underestimate the Master Chef level. It's completely different from the basic, intermediate, and advanced chef levels. While the prerequisites aren't many, the promotion tasks are entirely different." Ruyi grinned at Qi Han. "Back then, simply creating a four-star recipe won't be enough to pass the level!"

The promotion requirements are different now?

Qi Han seemed to be deep in thought.

No wonder the prerequisites have changed, so the future promotion process for top-tier chefs will likely undergo some changes?

He thought he could pass the level by creating a four-star recipe.

Judging from Ruyi's meaning, it's probably even more difficult than this.

We'll talk about whether it's difficult or not later.

He shook his head, then asked, "What are the privileges of a master chef?"

Qi Han's heart began to race.

Advanced chef recipes will no longer drop for three stars.

Following this logic, will the random drop recipes from Master Chefs no longer include four-star recipes?

Doesn't that mean a five-star character is guaranteed?!

Just this alone made Qi Han incredibly excited.

Seeing through Qi Han's thoughts, Ruyi said with a half-smile, "Don't even think about it. The authority of a master chef is not quite what you imagine."

"After becoming a master chef, recipes will no longer appear randomly."

"The authority of a master chef mainly includes four aspects."

"First, unlock the access to five-star recipes." Ruyi glanced at Qi Han, who had a bewildered expression. "Just like you thought, even if you draw a five-star recipe in advance, you can't unlock and learn it before you become a master chef."

Good fellow, I'll call you good fellow.

Qi Han's expression became incredibly interesting.

He always eagerly anticipates getting a five-star recipe whenever a recipe drops randomly.

Even if I manage to pull it out, I still can't activate it?

While four-star cultivation also has its limitations, it only requires a fifth-ring cultivation level. I never expected that five-star cultivation would require a top-level chef...

"Second, start the final mission." Ruyi glanced at Qi Han. "The final mission is a series of missions, including nine sub-missions. I can't tell you the specifics right now, but after the final mission appears, there will be no more main or side missions. Complete the final mission and you will receive the divine inheritance."

Final mission…

Qi Han was stunned.

It sounds very high-end.

So after being promoted to Master Chef, do I no longer have main and side quests?

"Third, unlock the purchase rights for three-star and four-star recipes." Ruyi shrugged.

"The purchase permission for four-star recipes has also been unlocked?" Qi Han couldn't help but be surprised.

“Yes.” Ruyi smiled. “Although the promotion mission to a top-level chef is very difficult, the privileges are also much greater than before.”

Qi Han nodded knowingly, a hint of anticipation in his eyes.

Purchase rights to 3-star and 4-star recipes!

That alone is enough to keep him looking forward to it.

It's just reaching level 90 in soul power, right?

With system tasks in place, he believed it was only a matter of time.

Although the promotion to master chef is difficult, there is always a chance to complete this kind of task without a time limit. Qi Han believed that he could complete the previous promotion tasks, and the promotion to master chef would be no problem either.

"And the fourth one?" he couldn't help but ask. "Is it related to the flow of time?"

"I guess so," Ruyi chuckled, "but it might be a little different from what you're thinking."

"Once you reach the Master Chef level, the training space will no longer exist."

After glancing at Qi Han, Ruyi explained, "Instead, you will directly undergo cooking training within the system's small world, where the time flow rate is a thousand times faster."

Is it okay to train in cooking directly within the system's mini-world?

Qi Han was immediately delighted.

He had long yearned for that mysterious little world of the system, which contained countless ingredients.

Unfortunately, while Zhuiyun and Gulu could enter, the host of this system was unable to.

After reaching the level of a master chef, he will have the right to enter the small world, which alone makes Qi Han look forward to it immensely.

After learning in detail about the corresponding privileges and prerequisites of a master chef, Qi Han slowly calmed down.

His eyes flashed, and his gaze fell upon the new mission that quickly appeared on the mission page as the advanced chef promotion mission disappeared.
