The name the other person suddenly uttered almost caused the believer to completely lose control. She turned around, her hands forcefully plunging into the other person's chest, and with all her might, she tore the other person in two. But then, she heard a soft laugh, carrying an irresistible magic, and then her limbs began to weaken.

"You've finally shown your weakness. This time, I've finally caught you."

In his fading consciousness, the last thing the believer felt was the other person supporting him from behind, smiling and whispering in his ear.

"Become my new work of art, become me—the most perfect art!"

Chapter 12, Section 110: Blood-Red Obsession

"It's...incredibly beautiful."

In the pitch-black room, Jester, with a look of ecstasy, cut open the believer's clothes, exposing her fair skin directly to the air. With an expression of pure bliss, he couldn't resist leaning down and gently licking the believer's body.

"Waaah..."

Although he had lost consciousness, the believer still unconsciously let out a few groans and his body trembled slightly when his body was touched like this.

"It's not the right time yet, it's not the right time yet."

Muttering to himself, Jester embraced the believer's body, stood up, and slowly left.

"Come, let's go to my workshop and let me transform you into the most perfect version of yourself!"

Jester, his lips parted to reveal a set of sharp, pointed teeth, and with a flushed, excited expression, slowly disappeared into the depths of darkness.

From the moment he first met the believer and was "killed" by him, Jester had already become infatuated with him.

Despite being a young girl, she possessed countless powerful killing abilities. With her immature body, she mercilessly slaughtered all who stood in her way, and when she came to him, she swiftly and decisively killed him with a single blow.

That extreme pain, which he hadn't felt in over two hundred years, and that small, unwavering figure, were enough to ignite his almost frozen heart.

So beautiful...so beautiful...so beautiful...

I must have her, possess her, and keep her by my side. Whether I chain her, cut off her limbs, or inscribe a curse, I will make her my property, make her my own.

Yes, I am the most perfect artist, Jester, and you, whom I cherish, will become my most perfect slave, and live with me forever and ever.

Jester is not human; his true identity is a Dead Apostle, or vampire as some might call him. He has lived for over five hundred years, surviving by drinking blood. Furthermore, he is an extremely rare Dead Apostle who can move freely in sunlight.

In terms of individual combat ability, Jester is actually not strong at all. His overall quality rating is only B-level, and even if he tries his best, he can only get slightly closer to A-level at most. Compared with the followers who are the best among A-level, he can be said to be pitifully weak.

However, this does not mean that he has no way to deal with a powerful A-level expert like a believer.

Infection, transformation, and possession—these are Jester's unique abilities. Through blood, he can completely transform the bodies of ordinary people into forms identical to his own, turning them into bloodthirsty creatures with the same appearance and fighting prowess. Furthermore, his will can move freely within these modified bodies, as if they were his spare bodies.

Jester's original body was destroyed long ago, in a time he himself couldn't even remember. He couldn't recall which person he had transformed into his current body. He couldn't even remember how many spare bodies he had prepared, scattered throughout the world.

With an unlimited lifespan, powerful survival abilities, and years of meticulous preparation, killing Jester had become something he himself no longer believed in. And it was precisely because he no longer feared death, and had unlimited time to contemplate his desires, that he began to focus on the Xenomorphs, on the figures of women—those beautiful things that stirred hormones and desire. Using this as material, with artistic thought and pursuit, he attempted to realize his ideals.

But it's not enough, it's not enough.

For over three hundred years, he actively pursued his artistic creations. Sometimes, when inspiration struck, he could complete hundreds of "works" in a single day. However, no matter the production method, no matter how much weeping and screaming he heard, he eventually grew weary and felt a sense of lifelessness.

He wanted someone special enough, someone so special that he couldn't look away at first sight, someone who could give him unparalleled pleasure. He had been searching for this person for over a hundred years, to the point that he almost lost all motivation, almost believing that he would only find pleasure in superficial physical desires for the rest of his life.

At this moment, the believers appeared.

This girl, who didn't even have a name of her own, was a gift from heaven to him, if God really would bestow such a gift upon a blood-sucking, murderous bastard. But in any case, he finally found what he had initially craved: that unparalleled thrill.

I will make her suffer, make her weep, break all her pride, destroy all her faith, make her howl on the ground like a dog, make her struggle and groan, uttering those wanton sounds. Finally, I will turn her into a Dead Apostle like me, no, into a slave completely under my control, a slave with a clear mind but a body completely under my control.

How beautiful must the despair in her eyes have been at that moment?

Oh, I'm almost losing control of myself.

Looking at the believer in his arms, his brows furrowed, his fair face, Jester felt his heart, which had been stagnant for many years, begin to beat again.

"You are mine, baby."

He lowered his head, stuck out his purplish-red tongue, and gently licked the believer's cheek a few times.

"You belong to me, baby."

Muttering to himself, Jester held the unconscious believer in his arms tightly and continued forward.

Just wait, my little darling, very soon, very soon, you will become absolutely perfect, just like me, absolutely perfect.

……

"So what exactly happened in this godforsaken place?"

Stepping into the room, which was stained with blood and mangled flesh, Li Cheng covered his nose, revealing a rather displeased expression.

tide, still at the Future Gadget Research Institute, sensed Li Cheng's emotional change and tried to teleport over, but was immediately stopped and warned by Li Cheng through the mental link. Seemingly because of her overly firm attitude, Xi became very unhappy, snorted, and unilaterally cut off the communication, making Li Cheng's already uncomfortable mood even more uneasy.

Fortunately, Xi was obedient enough not to run over.

“...At least a hundred people died here,” Emiya Kiritsugu, who followed Li Cheng in, also looked grim, but he still carefully observed the messy house. “Slaughter, undoubtedly slaughter. This was a one-sided battle, and it is very likely that a master was slaughtering a group of enemies.”

"The only person capable of creating such a scene is an A-rank powerhouse. Could it be that girl? We didn't have much contact last time, and I didn't expect her to be such a ruthless person."

Li Cheng said with some doubt.

"Besides, you said that the little girl is from a reclusive assassination organization, so she should be an A-rank agile assassin, right? The battle scene here is basically a Tyrannosaurus Rex tearing apart all the attacking enemies head-on. How can there be an assassin who directly confronts the enemy? Even an A-rank shouldn't be like that."

"To hold such a view, Cheng, is far too naive."

As he spoke, Kiritsugu Emiya recalled a mission he had undertaken in America where he unexpectedly shared the same assassination target with a member of a powerful assassin organization. The man had readily invited him to join him on the mission, and after the assassination was successful, when their escape was discovered, he allowed the wounded Kiritsugu to rest in the shadows while he himself grabbed an axe and charged out alone, single-handedly killing over three hundred of his pursuers.

The man's name was kept secret from Kiritsugu Emiya for the sake of secrecy, but he was a man who completely redefined Kiritsugu's understanding of assassins, directly altering Kiritsugu's fighting style to a certain extent. Kiritsugu's later preference for using daggers in conjunction with speed magic for close combat was partly due to that man's influence.

But I digress. The key question now is: where did those two people go?

Taking out his personal testing equipment, Kiritsugu Emiya immediately began testing the blood sample on the ground.

"Jester, Jester, it's all Jester's blood sample. This is not normal. The amount of blood in this room is impossible for one person to have. Even a person with abnormal blood could not have such a terrifying amount."

While finding the blood samples unbelievable, Kiritsugu Emiya suddenly noticed something unusual about the blood samples themselves.

"What's wrong, Emiya? Did you find something?"

Seeing the change in Kiritsugu Emiya's expression, Li Cheng asked with some confusion.

"Dead Apostle".

Setting down the testing equipment, Kiritsugu Emiya raised his head, his eyes revealing an icy killing intent.

“Jester isn’t human; he’s a Dead Apostle. So, it seems we’ve found a survivor of the ‘Great Siege.’”

First update of the day.

I'm feeling terrible, awful with a cold. I struggled for ages, but finally managed to write this. As for a second update, I can only say I tried my best; don't bother waiting for it today. I'm going to get my medicine now; I don't know if the school clinic will be able to prescribe cold medicine this weekend. Ugh, looks like I won't be able to achieve my initial goal of 25,000 words in two days. So frustrating.

Section 111, Chapter Thirteen: The Prelude to Change

Shortly after a black car drove away, a figure quickly ran up the stairs.

Good morning!

The girl in sportswear opened the door, greeted everyone loudly, and quickly walked into the house.

"Good morning, Suzuha-chan, duduru."

The other girl on the sofa immediately responded by waving her hand, and at the end of her sentence, she added her own unique verbal tic.

"So, this way of greeting hasn't been popular for several years..."

The tall, thin man named Okabe sat on the sofa, looking ashen-faced, as if he had witnessed the most terrifying thing in the world, his worldview completely shattered. Meanwhile, Hashida sat similarly pale, not watching anime or playing games as usual.

"Hey, what happened?"

The girl tilted her head and asked, somewhat puzzled.

“Maya-san doesn’t know either,” Shiina said, shaking her head as she sat next to Okabe. “When Mayu-san came back, Okabe and Ayumi were already like this.”

"Huh, is that so?"

The girl took a few steps closer, watching the two men's reactions with some curiosity. Then, her eyes darted around and she immediately noticed a small girl sitting on the sofa next to Shiina, eating a banana with gusto.

The girl paused almost imperceptibly.

"Hey, whose daughter is this? What's she doing here? Mr. Okabe, is she your distant cousin or something?"

With a curious look on her face, the girl asked Okabe, who was sitting slumped on the sofa.

“How could I have a distant relative with blond hair?” Okabe said quietly with his head down. “This child is the daughter of an action team member. She came here to look for Bucket, but then she suddenly had a mission and left her here. Consider it as us looking after her temporarily.”

"Ah, I see."

The girl smiled, a hint of envy involuntarily showing on her face.

"The action team is really great. They have powerful abilities and protect the lives of ordinary people. It feels just like being a hero."

As she spoke, she took a few steps and knelt down in front of the little girl with golden hair.

"Hey, what's your name? My name is Amane Suzuha, you can just call me Suzuha."

Then, standing before Lingyu, the girl shrank back slightly, seemingly unaccustomed to Lingyu's somewhat enthusiastic attitude. Out of habit, the girl was actually reluctant to get close to anyone except that one special person. But at this moment, she recalled a phrase that person had often taught her.

"When someone greets you, you should always respond politely. That's what makes a polite child."

Although she doesn't like it, tide still has to listen to Cheng's request.

Thinking this, the girl timidly spoke:
