"who!"
Realizing that a third person had suddenly intervened, Deathstroke drew his sword and turned around with extreme vigilance. A small voice, accompanied by sparks and lightning, arrived in front of him in an instant. A punch filled with electricity struck him heavily, which then exploded into a powerful shockwave, sending Deathstroke flying through the air, crashing through the wall and flying out of the building.
Then, the girl with short brown hair stopped, reached out and grabbed Touma Kamijou who was lying on the ground beside her, and said very rudely:
"Hey, you, get up! What's going on? Who was that guy? Why did he look like he wanted to smash your head in?"
The girl's voice was very lively, with an indescribable childishness, and combined with her petite figure, she looked to be no more than fourteen or fifteen years old. However, her previous extremely terrifying close-range attack clearly possessed the destructive power and explosive force that only an A-rank could achieve. Without a doubt, this was a girl with formidable strength.
"Uh, eh? Bilibili? It's you again! You actually followed me all the way to my workplace. Are you a devil? Why do you have to challenge an ordinary C-level ability user like me to a duel? Besides, this is no time for a duel in this emergency!"
After a moment of stunned silence, Touma Kamijou, having figured out what was going on, shouted in despair.
"Who would want to fight you in this situation? I clearly saved your life, okay! Although I did want to fight you at first (whispering). Anyway, that guy came to cause trouble, right? Attacking an action team that is part of the city management organization and injuring its members, that's illegal no matter how you look at it."
Clenching her fist, the girl showed a very interested expression.
"So, that guy is basically a superpowered criminal, right?"
Looking at the death knell that had somehow climbed up through the hole in the wall, the girl's eyes were filled with fighting spirit.
"Hey, what are you trying to do? That guy is dangerous, don't be impulsive."
Struggling to his feet, Touma Kamijou took a breath and whispered a reminder.
"I'm not impulsive. I've experienced far more battles than you have. Besides, I'm not called 'this guy,' and I'm not 'bilibili.' Call me Misaka properly, you rude idiot!"
"Who's the idiot? I was just trying to be helpful by reminding you! You're the violent woman who's always chasing me around, flirting, and hitting me. It's because of you that I've been late for days in a row!"
"What? Isn't that because you, you bastard, always run away? Why don't you just fight me properly? You coward!"
"I've fought you at least ten times, okay? It's you who insists it doesn't count as a fight and is being unreasonable! Saying things like 'this level isn't even a fight,' and then you started bombarding me with attacks. Because of you, I've had to pay for damage to street property several times!"
"Huh, there's such a thing? Um, um, I didn't mean to..."
"careful!"
Before the girl who called herself Misaka could finish speaking, Kamijou Touma suddenly pounced on her, grabbed her, and rolled to the other side of the room. The next moment, intense flames erupted where they had been standing, shattering the walls and floor.
"Has the young couple's playful banter ended?"
He casually tossed the pin of the grenade in his hand into a nearby trash can, then turned to look at the two people lying on the ground and asked them with great patience.
"Who would be in a relationship with this idiot (violent woman)?!"
Almost simultaneously, the two men glared angrily at each other, then, realizing what was happening, they glared back at each other and shouted at the same time:
"Who are you calling an idiot (violent woman)?!"
I feel like I'm standing here, which is a bit superfluous.
Touching his chin, Deathstroke pondered very seriously.
However, he didn't have to wait long. The two young men quickly realized there was another enemy present, stopped their fighting, and stood up, watching his movements warily. He then drew the blade from his waist, faced the two men, and assumed a fighting stance.
A peculiar boy with the ability to suppress his own healing, and a powerful A-level esper capable of manipulating electromagnetism. One against two—the situation isn't ideal.
He thought that choosing the moment when the enemy's main force had all left to infiltrate and assassinate them was a pretty good choice. However, the boy, whom he thought he could deal with quickly, actually dragged on for quite a while. Now, an A-level ability user has suddenly appeared out of nowhere. This mission is really not going well.
Lightning crackled around him as Deathstroke dodged a powerful electric kick from the girl. However, the scattered currents still struck him, causing significant burns. Meanwhile, Touma Kamijou charged forward, weaving through the area of intense electricity, and threw a punch at him.
The surrounding electric currents adhered to Deathstroke's full-body metal armor, suddenly exerting force and binding his body. With no way to avoid it, Deathstroke snorted coldly and slammed his head directly into Touma's fist, forcefully pushing the other man back. Then, exerting his muscles and roaring, he actually managed to tear his armor apart despite the girl's electromagnetic control, revealing a body of bulging, muscular muscles.
He turned and kicked the seemingly unsuspecting girl behind him, but a violent electric current immediately exploded, sending him staggering back two steps. All the windows in the building shattered at that moment. The girl snorted coldly, pulled a gleaming silver coin from her pocket, and held out her hand, aiming it at Deathstroke.
This posture... no, she must be about to use some kind of highly lethal move.
Turning around, Deathstroke fled without hesitation toward the hole in the wall, but a heavy punch suddenly descended, striking him hard in the face and causing blood to spurt from his nose. Kamijou Touma, who had been sent flying, suddenly appeared and, dragging his battered body, punched Deathstroke in the face.
Under normal circumstances, no matter how powerful the punch, it would be meaningless to Deathstroke. The absolute difference in strength meant that even with his healing factor suppressed, he could still ignore it. But now, this punch would give him a small opening, a fleeting moment to pause his thoughts.
And that was enough time for the girl to catch him.
"boom--"
The condensed lightning transformed into a cannonball, gleaming with unparalleled brilliance, piercing through the entire building from bottom to top, carrying a magnificent momentum as it soared into the sky. Countless pieces of debris rained down from the air, and the scattered lightning, like a divine miracle, flickered with a peculiar luster. Inside the building, beneath the enormous crater blasted open, the girl chuckled softly and casually lowered her hand.

Book Recommendation: *Kasumigaoka Utaha's Sengoku Monogatari: A Problematic Tale*
What? I woke up to find myself transformed into the famous Bookworm's hot weapon, Kasumigaoka Utaha?
Well, there are just too many transformation-themed games these days.
What? I woke up to find myself transformed into Kasumigaoka Utaha, and I've been chosen by the Imperial Court to be the governor of Chikuzen.
Okay, okay, there's nothing surprising about time-travel stories set in the Warring States period; they're just variations of the traditional time-travel trope.
What? The initial retainers were Shizuka, Busujima-senpai, and Eien-michi Yukinoshita?
Hmph, has this author run out of options? It's all the same old tricks, the same old tricks! I'm certain this book will flop!
What what what what, the invasion of the Celestials, the Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, social upheaval, an unprecedented transformation in the history of the Wu family?
Meow meow meow... This... This is completely different from what's written in the book!
Damn you, God, you think you can kill me? Not so easy!
Kasumigaoka Utaha's Sengoku Monogatari is highly problematic!
Section 168, Chapter 27: Believers, Black Flames, and Death Thorns
While the battle raged fiercely inside the underground laboratory, on the laboratory's ground floor, in a room surrounded by magical arrays, Carter stood silently in the center of the room, before whom Remilia lay weakly and immobile, pinned to a chair.
"In ten more minutes, we can leave here together, Remy."
Smiling, Carter gently stroked Remilia's hair, his eyes full of tenderness. Although, at that moment, Remilia herself, being stroked by him, wore an expression of disgust as if she had been touched by something dirty.
"However, this is only possible if no one causes trouble."
With a soft sigh, Carter turned and looked toward a corner of the room.
"Aren't you going to come out yet? Or do you think you can hide from me here? This room is entirely constructed with my power, and there's nothing that can escape my notice."
"..."
There was no response, no movement, no sound; the room was completely silent except for the constant hum of the magic array.
"Oh dear, it's true, did you think I was trying to trick you?"
With a light chuckle, Carter stomped his foot, unleashing a powerful force that shot towards the room. The intense, invisible force pierced through the wall, revealing a large expanse of empty white ground outside.
The room where Carter was located was a square house built separately in the center of a white room the size of a football field.
As the power dissipated, Carter stared blankly at the cracked ground, puzzled to find that no one had appeared.
"Oh, you dodged it? Hmph, then—uh!"
A slender hand pierced through Carter's chest and ripped out his heart.
The believer ripped out Carter's heart with one hand, clicked her tongue in disgust, and then drew a long sword from her waist, cleaving Carter in two from head to toe.
Blood, flesh, and entrails were scattered across the ground, and a stench immediately filled the air. The believer, without batting an eye, crushed the heart in his hand, tossed it aside, and then turned to Remilia, who was sitting in a chair.
"I really don't want to save you, you filthy vampire."
Looking at the weak and powerless Remilia, the believer spoke with utter disgust. But Remilia, barely managing to lift her head, gritted her teeth and spoke very seriously:
"Be careful...he...is not...dead yet..."
not dead? !
The believer, alert and without hesitation, dodged. The next moment, the spot where she had stood twisted and shattered, as if space itself had been destroyed, and a portion of the ground disappeared. Meanwhile, Carter, who had been split in two, stood calmly in place, without a trace of blood on his body.
"You're quite wild and violent, aren't you, Miss Sixth Group Follower? To be honest, your appearance here really surprised me. Is this the ability to conceal your presence?"
A small flask overflowing with black mist was thrown at Kalter by the believer. The next moment, the flask exploded, releasing cursed black smoke that filled a large area. Immediately afterward, the believer drew her knife and was about to rush forward, but an invisible wave blew away the cursed mist, knocking her over as well. She stumbled back several steps before barely regaining her balance.
Is it the power to control the wind?
Without chanting, simply by manipulating the magic within his body, the wind-avoiding magic was activated. The believer charged forward against the fierce wind, the dagger ignited with black flames, and thrust forward with intense magic, piercing through the black mist like a spear, directly piercing the chest of Carter who was standing in it.
"burst!"
His fist clenched, and the incantation-infused language materialized into power. The black mist that pierced through Kalter exploded instantly, shattering the man's body into countless fragments that scattered across most of the room.
That level of attack should be enough to kill him, right?
The believer withdrew the black flames and stood cautiously in place, gripping the blade tightly, observing whether the flesh and blood showed any unusual movement.
"Oh dear, this is truly terrifying. This must be the legendary flames of the Netherworld. Such a powerful death curse—if I hadn't already transformed my life form into a half-vampire, I would probably have perished completely. Hmph, though even so, it's still not pleasant."
A sound? He wasn't killed, so where is he?
Turning her body, the believer tried to find the source of the sound, but a strange force suddenly came from her shoulder and imprisoned her entire body.
This, this is...
"How careless of you, Miss Believer, there's some of my blood on your shoulder."
The blood and flesh scattered on the ground rapidly coalesced, and in just a few breaths, Carter reappeared unharmed before the believer once again.
"Although it's infuriating that you've made such a mess of my workshop, I can't bring myself to do something as unwise as offending the Old Man of the Mountain. So, please take a good rest, Miss Believer."
Carter stretched out his hand, smiling, ready to knock the believer unconscious.
“ZABANIYA!”
The incantation of the ancient secret technique was chanted, causing the long hair behind the believer to instantly transform into sharp, hard needles, which riddled Kalterza with holes in the next instant. Immediately afterwards, the flames of the curse burned directly onto the believer's body, incinerating the flesh and blood of Kalter that clung to her completely.
Retreating several steps, the believer's expression remained unchanged. He extinguished the flames and drew his dagger. His figure instantly transformed into a whirlwind, rushing directly towards Remilia. His opponent's situation was unpredictable; ordinary methods were insufficient to eliminate him. Therefore, he couldn't linger in battle; his objective was paramount. Thus, the believer decided without hesitation to take Remilia directly.
It must be said that after being tricked in the Battle of Jester, the believers' tactical thinking has improved significantly, but...
"That won't do. I finally managed to find her, and I can't allow anyone else to take my things away, no matter who it is."
