Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

I want to become a PhD.

Who is for and who is against?

It turns out.

The league is indeed very "sensible".

after all.

Xia Yan has already established considerable connections within the research community and among various figures in the alliance.

Professor Oak, Professor Sakuragi, Professor Yamanashi, Professor Yew, Professor Kuroki, and other great professors.

Kikuko, Genji, Kikuno, Adekel, and even Interpol, the Investigation Department, the Medical Department, the Battle Frontier, and even the Dragon Clan, Devon Corporation, and the Ether Foundation all have some influence.

Over the years, Xia Yan's actions, experiences, acquaintances, and friendships have all contributed to his pursuit of a doctoral degree.

unconsciously.

Xia Yan himself didn't realize that he had gradually gained some influence in the alliance from being just an ordinary person at the bottom of society.

Although its influence is not yet significant.

But it is foreseeable that this influence will only grow.

These are the connections Xia Yan has built up.

Furthermore, as Wataru and others gradually rise to high-ranking positions in the alliance, his network of connections will become increasingly formidable.

Of course, these are all things to be discussed later.

just now.

Under widespread public pressure.

Under the guidance of leading figures in the research community, including Dr. Oki, Dr. Yamanashi, and Dr. Sakuragi.

Whether Xia Yan can become a professor based on his Fairy-type achievements has officially become an important topic of discussion in the League.

Just like the debate back then about whether Sakuragi could become a doctor.

And what about Xia Yan and the others?

After the initial uproar subsided, the match resumed.

Lorelei battles Dr. Kukui, the last remaining member of the Alola region, the Royal Masked Man.

Xia Yan had warned Lorelei to be careful of the Royal Masked Man's Incineroar, his ace Pokémon and the one that posed the greatest threat to Lorelei.

pity.

Despite Xia Yan's reminder.

Kona was also careful in dealing with the Crimson Roaring Tiger, but she overlooked one of the Royal Masked Men's Mane Rock Werewolves.

Ultimately, they lost to the Royal Masked Man by a single elf.

This allowed one person from the Alola region to ultimately advance to the semifinals.

We won't lose too badly.

After Kona and the Royal Masked Man's battle ended.

Daigo and Natsuhiko, who appeared as the final act, received a great deal of attention.

A head-to-head competition between the best young talents from the Hoenn and Sinnoh regions.

A contest between the young heir of Devon Corporation and a newly minted genius researcher.

Their identities and their influence.

This match was destined to be the most watched one of the day.

And Xia Yan.

He will also have his first direct battle with Daigo.

It features a 6v6 all-player battle mode.

It's about who will win between the two.

The three spectators, Lance, Lorelei, and Cynthia, dared not draw any conclusions easily.

Both of them are very strong.

On-the-spot performance and tactical arrangements may be the key to determining the outcome of this match.

Chapter 187 Xia Yan VS Dawu

On both sides of the vast battlefield.

Standing there were Natsuhiko and Daigo.

This was also the first time that Natsuhiko and Daigo stood alone on opposite sides of each other.

This is their battle, a battle that Daigo has been looking forward to for a long time.

In Daigo's opinion, the final outcome wasn't the most important thing; what mattered most was that he and Natsuhiko were going to have their first all-out battle here.

Regarding this point...

Daigo was quite excited.

"Please summon your respective Pokémon!"

At the referee's signal, the two each held a Poké Ball.

The game had already begun at that moment.

The first match largely determines the tactical arrangements and direction.

A red light is flashing.

Bang——! !

The gleaming, reflective heavy metal armor concealed a terrifying and savage power beneath the muscular physique.

"Roar--!!"

His roar, with arms raised and head tilted to the sky, stunned the entire audience.

"Daigo's Aggron has arrived!!"

It is over two meters long and resembles a Tyrannosaurus Rex covered in hard armor.

Aggron is definitely one of the most representative Pokémon in Steven's collection, second only to his Shiny Metagross.

And they immediately sent out Bosscodora.

This undoubtedly demonstrates how much importance Daigo attaches to this battle.

Upon seeing the formidable Aggron, the audience erupted in cheers.

Compared to the spirit summoned by Daigo, the one that appeared in front of Natsuhiko seemed relatively small.

But battles between spirits are not a contest of size, nor are they a matter of sheer force.

Xia Yan smiled, not particularly surprised by Daigo's choice to summon Aggron.

Upon seeing Xia Yan's Pokémon, the commentator couldn't help but shout, "Infernape! Xia Yan's first Pokémon is Infernape!"

This is the first time Xia Yan has sent out Infernape in this competition.

Although it wasn't Tokis, the audience was somewhat disappointed.

However, they are also very much looking forward to seeing what kind of "excellent" tactics Natsuhiko will use in his battle against Daigo.

The Infernape, with its dark red fur, had flames on its head that swayed across the field without wind.

Flames flickered in Infernape's eyes.

Clearly, its inner self was not as calm and collected as it appeared on the surface; it was filled with fighting spirit.

From the perspective of attributes.

Infernape had an absolute advantage.

However, in terms of strength and momentum, Bosscodora clearly has a greater advantage.

This battle.

It's still quite interesting to watch.

As the referee's flag fell, the two began giving instructions almost simultaneously.

"Aggron, Rock Lockdown!"

Infernape is definitely faster than Aggron, so slowing down Infernape and preventing it from being kited is an excellent choice.

"Infernape, trick!"

Xia Yan's voice also rang out.

Then he continued, "A high-five surprise attack."

The island kings and queens, who were watching the game from the stands, all looked surprised.

This move.

Isn't that what Merdan is best at?

They weren't the only ones surprised; many people were astonished by this.

Xia Yan learned this move after only one exchange with Mo Dan?

"Roar--!!"

Bosscoat slammed its tail into the ground with terrifying force, causing the ground to crack and rocks of varying sizes to instantly form two encircling chains of rock.

It moved towards binding Infernape.

At that moment, Infernape also made its move.

A dark glint flashed in his eyes, and his footsteps continued.

A flash of dark red light appeared.
