Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

But Xia Yan's Tokiss showed a look of surprise.

Tightness turned into contemplation.

Xia Yan also walked over to Pokkis's side and gave it a quick check-up.

The result was that there were no problems at all, and in fact, the condition was surprisingly good.

"Chocolate!"

But then Xia Yan's Togekiss squeezed in, with an expression that said, "Don't worry."

It stopped in front of Cynthia Togekis.

Under the stunned gaze of everyone.

clap clap-

A series of combined punches followed.

"Cha-cha-ke-ee?" Cynthia's Togekiss slowly opened its eyes, looking around blankly, completely unaware of what had happened.

Cynthia's Togekiss: You just hit me? (Looking at Xia Yan's Togekiss)

Xia Yan's Tokis: Hit you? Who? (Looking up at the sky at a 45° angle)

Cynthia's Togekiss: Isn't it you? (Looking confused)

Xia Yan's Tokiss: No.

Snapped--

Cynthia's Togekiss: Still saying it wasn't you?! (Gets angry)

Xia Yan's Togekiss: You saw it? (Looking completely innocent)

Cynthia's Togekiss: ...

"Whoosh." Alakazam withdrew its superpowers and used telepathy to tell Xia Yan what it had sensed.

Ignoring the two Togekiss's playful antics.

Xia Yan's expression also became somewhat strange.

"What's wrong?" Cynthia couldn't help but ask.

Xia Yan took a deep breath, exhaled slowly, and said with a smile, "It's nothing, on the contrary, I should congratulate you."

"Ok?"

“Your Togekiss has awakened its Fairy-type,” Xia Yan explained.

Alakazam sensed that there was a surging energy within Togekiss's body, and it seemed to be growing stronger.

Alakazam and Xia Yan's Togekiss knew this energy all too well after spending so much time together.

That's fairy-type energy.

Although it was very faint, there was no doubt that it was fairy-type energy.

"Awakened?" Cynthia blinked, and for once, she saw that adorable, bewildered expression on her face.

Xia Yan squatted on the ground and whispered:

"I don't know why it happened so quickly, but I think it's probably because Fairy-type energy is becoming more and more abundant in the Pokémon world. Your Togekiss ate an Energy Cube full of Fairy-type energy, and with the internal and external forces influencing it, it awakened."

Speaking of it.

Xia Yan couldn't help but smack his lips.

Think of how much effort he put into awakening his Togepi's Fairy type.

How long has it been since Cynthia's Togekiss consumed the Energy Cubes before it awakened?

of course.

Just like Xia Yan said.

This is definitely related to the increasingly abundant fairy-type energy, and this reason may even be the key factor.

But Xia Yan's energy cubes are also a major reason.

His current energy cubes are special, far superior to the intermediate energy cubes he gave Togepi.

Second.

Cynthia's Togekiss is also quite talented and lucky.

It was a coincidence.

However, there is one thing Xia Yan is certain of.

Cynthia's Togekiss has now awakened its Fairy-type, so it's definitely not as powerful as her own Togekiss, which started consuming Fairy-type Energy Cubes during the Togepi era and cultivated its Fairy-type abilities from the beginning, giving it a solid foundation.

Both being Fairy-type Pokémon that awaken later in the game, Xia Yan's Togekiss is definitely more talented and has more potential to be explored in the Fairy-type category than Cynthia's Togekiss.

This is beyond doubt.

Otherwise, wouldn't Xia Yan's efforts over such a long time have been in vain?

However, Cynthia's Togekiss has now awakened as a Fairy-type Pokémon, giving it an advantage in terms of time and talent compared to other Fairy-type Pokémon.

With proper nurturing, they might just be able to unleash their full potential.

After hearing Xia Yan's explanation, Cynthia breathed a sigh of relief.

His eyes lit up instantly.

Togekiss has now awakened its Fairy-type, so...

Wouldn't that give her an extra trump card and advantage in the subsequent matches?

Du Fu'e stood beside him.

Previously, Xia Yan only had one Togekiss, but now Cynthia has one too.

Du felt bitter inside, but he didn't say it.

And one thing that can be imagined is...

If Cynthia's Togekiss also appears on the field as a Fairy-type Pokémon, it would undoubtedly be another form of publicity for Xia Yan.

His Pokémon is not an isolated case.

This can happen repeatedly.

even.

When others learned that Xia Yan actually possessed a method to awaken Fairy-type Pokémon...

The league is probably really starting to get restless.

This is a very good bargaining chip.

A bargaining chip to obtain a "doctoral" degree.

The astute Xia Yan quickly realized the potential for maneuver in this area.

Although the alliance promised him many benefits, it conspicuously made no mention of anything about "the Doctor".

Xia Yan didn't believe they had forgotten.

Ultimately, the Pokémon Studies professor holds a special position in the League, and the League's evaluation process is very rigorous, as evidenced by how long it took Sakuragi to become a professor and how long he had to wait.

"Perfect timing, since we have some time, I'll tell you about the Fairy type."

Xia Yan sat down directly on the ground.

The others heard this.

They all sat down on the ground.

He listened intently, as if he were giving a lecture to Xia Yan.

So much so.

Other visitors who came to visit also stopped in their tracks when they saw the scene.

The number of people is increasing.

It gradually grew from four or five people to more than twenty.

They come from all over the country.

Some people will ask questions even when they don't understand.

Those present were all future bigwigs in their respective regions, and Xia Yan was not stingy with his generosity.

When problems arise, explanations will be provided as appropriate.

Even the team leaders and managers from various regions came to "attend the lecture" in the end.

As the explanation of the fairy system deepened, the way everyone looked at Xia Yan changed.

Is this the knowledge of a genius researcher who can compete for a doctoral degree?

Xia Yan explained a great deal in a simple and easy-to-understand way.

It includes not only Fairy-type items, but also some tactical knowledge.

For example.

The "Song Annihilation" tactic can be extended to include rain-induced song annihilation, and the "Rock Avalanche" tactic can be extended to include sandstorms and rockfalls, etc...

Chapter 182 Sudden Attack by Strange Beasts

The next day.

Yesterday, the top eight teams in this competition were determined, and today is the day to determine the top four.

It's impossible to say it wasn't lively.

After all, it was just yesterday's game, and it was already incredibly exciting to watch.

In addition, Xia Yan, who sparked the fairy-themed craze, also showcased more fairy-related elements in this competition.

This makes people even more eager to see if they can showcase something new in today's singing competition.
