Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

Pikachu gritted its teeth, channeled all the electricity in its body into its tail, and instantly formed a giant electric net.

"Hmm?" Xia Yan looked up in surprise.

Infernape is one of them.

A hint of surprise flashed in the eyes of Dia and Zeraora standing nearby.

If they weren't mistaken, did Pikachu's strength increase just a moment ago?

The most obvious sign is the fluctuation of energy.

Xia Yan's lips twitched.

Is this Pikachu?

Does it fluctuate with Ash's emotions?

However, the changes this time are not significant.

Taking advantage of Xia Yan and Infernape's brief moment of surprise, the electric net enveloped Infernape.

"Perfect opportunity! Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"

"Flame Fist".

Infernape and Xia Yan realized what was happening at the same time.

The flames that shot out from the gaps in his clenched fist swept across, instantly breaking the electric fence.

At the same time, Infernape's fist met Pikachu's "Thunderbolt" head-on.

Amidst the roar.

Infernape's eyes blazed brightly, and flames also erupted from its other hand.

Moreover, these flames seemed to possess an extremely strong cohesive force, showing no sign of extinguishing despite being subjected to the baptism of lightning.

The "Thunderbolt" was hurled directly at Pikachu.

Bear--!

In the very last moment.

The flames on the fist dissipated.

Infernape's fist was less than two or three centimeters away from Pikachu's soft face.

However, the fist ultimately did not fall.

Infernape nodded at Pikachu and slowly backed away.

The battle is now over.

“Pikachu…”

Pikachu breathed a sigh of relief.

"So strong..." Ash couldn't help but mutter again.

Chapter 164 Animation, Special Episodes, and Reality

"I lost."

Ash, on the other hand, accepted his defeat quite calmly.

However, Xia Yan did see a very deep bond between Ash and Pikachu.

Xia Yan had actually seen the idea that trainers influence Pokémon before.

That was during the battle against Da Ye.

However, Fire-type Pokémon with large leaves are more easily affected.

Electric-type Pokémon are indeed quite rare.

Furthermore, Xia Yan also admitted that Ash and Pikachu possess considerable strength.

Ash did indeed go on to win the Alola League Pokémon Championship.

However, the tournament Ash and his friends participated in was not the Masters Tournament, so the champion was just a champion, not the champion of the entire Alola League. These are two different tournaments.

To be honest, apart from Guzma who was somewhat significant, most of the other contestants in that tournament were kids around the same age as Ash.

As for Guzma... the characteristics of a Goryeo warrior are truly terrible.

This directly forces Scizor, which is four times weak to fire, to face Lisper's "Fire Blast".

Furthermore, with Pikachu in its enhanced form and a half-health Golem in combat, plus its attribute advantage, it would be difficult for them not to win.

Think about the Charizard from the previous tournament... the difference is obvious.

Xia Yan walked up to Xiao Zhi.

"Give me Pikachu, okay?"

"Ok?"

Xiao Zhi was stunned for a moment.

Xia Yan didn't explain anything. He simply took out the healing spray, and with his special massage techniques and the replenishment of energy cubes, Pikachu soon recovered.

"Is Mr. Xia Yan a breeder? I also know several very good breeders," Xiao Zhi said.

"I guess so." Xia Yan didn't look up.

After treating Pikachu's injuries, he tapped its head and said, "All done."

"Pickup!"

Pikachu moved its limbs and found that it had indeed fully recovered.

It's even better than before.

She hugged Xia Yan affectionately and rubbed against him, looking like she really liked him.

Then it jumped directly from Xia Yan's shoulder to Xiao Zhi's shoulder.

"Thank you, Mr. Xia Yan. I won't hold you back. I will keep my word."

Ash was somewhat disappointed after the defeat.

But he quickly recovered, saying, "But I will still try my best!"

"Actually, you don't need to worry about these things, Ash. I don't think you'll be a burden. If there's a way to deal with Guzzlord, I'll invite you to participate," Xia Yan said.

"Huh?"

Under Ash's bewildered gaze, Xia Yan offered no explanation.

nonsense.

Given Ash's personality, even if you leave him alone, do you really think he'll just do nothing?

Rather than letting things slip out of your control.

It would be better to just let him participate.

Moreover, given Ash's physical condition, there's really no need to worry too much about him.

Actually, Xia Yan had already made up his mind about one thing during their previous contact.

That is the Ash standing in front of him now, not the Ash he knew in the original world.

Because Xia Yan had some contact with Xiao Zhi during the "Lily of the Valley Youth Tournament", and also had some exchanges with Professor Oak through his relationship with him.

He was certain that the Ash Ketchum in his world was not as physically abnormal as the Ash Ketchum standing in front of him.

He is indeed a bit different from ordinary people, but not that exaggerated.

of course.

It's also possible that Ash's physique gradually improved after he got Pikachu, as he was shocked dozens of times every day.

After all, if muscles can withstand electrical stimulation, it does have a certain strengthening effect.

But it's definitely not to the extent that Ash in front of him was unaffected by Guzzlord's "burp" like before.

If you really want to hear what Xia Yan has to say...

He felt that the Ash Ketchum in front of him came from the world of anime.

The world he was in at that moment was more like a combination of a special episode and a game.

Because neither Team Rainbow Rocket nor Ultra Metropolis appeared in the anime.

And only in worlds like the special episodes, mythical beasts and mythical beasts are tamed by many people.

Although Dia did not capture Zeraora, it was almost as good as capturing it.

Moreover, their strength is not weak, so it's a bit unreasonable that they were abandoned in such a dilapidated place and not valued by the league.

As for the world he lives in.

It is a product that blends the anime world, the special episode world, and the game world.

It's neither as utopian as the animated world, nor as completely dark as the special episode world.

More authentic and realistic.

However, this was merely his guess.

Aside from the fact that Ash comes from the anime world, there is no other substantial evidence.

There are probably many more worlds like this.

“Mr. Xia Yan, is this alright?” Dia stepped forward and asked.

Don't let his cold exterior fool you; he's actually very kind at heart.

The reason for rejecting Xiaozhi was simply because she was worried about him getting hurt, not because she really wanted to hold him back.

"Diar, don't underestimate a trainer who can build such a deep bond with Pokémon." Xia Yan put his hand on Xiao Zhi's shoulder.

“Is that so…” Dia said, her head bowed.

But next second.
