Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

The next day.

As Xia Yan and his group continued their sweep.

Nowadays.

They emerged from the forest and came to a rocky area with towering, solid stones.

Looking at the dwindling amount of "honey" in my hand, and thinking of those few withered and droopy flowers from last night, I couldn't help but chuckle.

"We can't just keep picking at these few stinky flowers. We should release them today and replace them with some new ones."

There's nothing else in the forest, but there are plenty of Oddish and Stinkweed.

After stepping into the rocky area.

Xia Yan continued to use the same strategy as in the previous days, releasing a "sweet aroma" to lure wild Pokémon to his door.

however.

This time, however, he miscalculated.

Although the rocky area may seem to lack resources, it is a paradise for many elves who feed on the minerals in the rocks.

He clearly underestimated the number of elves living in the rocky areas.

They also underestimated the strength of the wild elf populations living in the rocky areas.

The first group to appear, the Rock Wolf Clan, was stronger than Xia Yan had anticipated.

And that doesn't even include some of the "giant" creatures that are slowly approaching with heavy steps.

Startled, Xia Yan quickly put away the "honey".

But the fragrance that had been released had already attracted the fairies, so they obviously wouldn't stop there.

They watched as the mane-rock werewolves appeared on different rocks, surrounding them.

Xia Yan smiled helplessly.

"Today, there are probably going to be several fierce battles."

The elves, on the other hand, seemed particularly excited.

Chapter 88 definitely contains something good!

Werewolves do not normally travel in packs.

Because they are all elves with very strong self-esteem, they like to live in rocky mountains or deserts, each with their own territory. To avoid unnecessary fighting, they mostly live in a way that does not interfere with each other.

We want them to appear in large groups.

Unless there is very strong external pressure that forces them to unite.

Xia Yan, who had just arrived here, was clearly not yet able to exert such great pressure on them.

Then there's only one other possibility.

Among this group of mane rock werewolves, there emerged one who could completely suppress this potential internal conflict.

"Roar--!!"

Then I saw it.

It walks upright on two legs, with a hunched back, its body covered in bright red fur, as well as a white mane extending from its back to the front of its head, and most strikingly, its scarlet eyes that seem to be filled with anger at any moment.

Lycanroc's Night Form!

and.

It's still a near-elite-level Dark Form Lycanroc!

The Lycanroc is a very peculiar Pokémon.

Their appearance and abilities will vary depending on the time period of their evolution.

If Rockruff evolves during the day, it will become Daytime Lycanroc, which walks on all fours like a wolf, and its fur, except for its mane, is mostly light brown.

If Rockruff evolves at night, it will become a Night Form Lycanroc, just like the Lycanroc that walks upright on the highest rock peak.

But actually, the Lycanroc has another form.

That is the twilight form.

That's what Rockruff looks like when it evolves during the brief Twilight period.

Its general appearance is similar to its daytime form, the difference being the direction of its mane growth and the fact that its light brown fur has an orange-yellow tinge.

Xia Yan remembered that Ash's Rockruff evolved into the rare Twilight form in the future.

The group of werewolves surrounding them were mostly in their daytime form, with a few in their nighttime form, but none of them were in their twilight form.

Although Xia Yan had already put away the "sweet and fragrant" honey, it was clear that the group of mane rock werewolves had completely set their sights on them.

"Let's finish this quickly. I reckon there are a few more big guys on their way," Xia Yan said, squinting.

The elves nodded in agreement and quickly entered battle mode.

"Roar--!!"

Meanwhile, the leader of the Rock Lycans in his night form let out a high-pitched roar, stirring the emotions of the surrounding Rock Lycans.

For a moment, like a pack of wolves, howls rose and fell.

Compared to their excitement, Xia Yan and his elves appeared much calmer.

They began to improve their own abilities and condition.

Beedrill and Aegislash's "Swords Dance", Alakazam's "Meditation", and Togekiss's "Naughty Trick".

The three boys each set their sights on their chosen opponents.

After a few days of getting used to each other, the little ones have gradually integrated into the team.

"Roar--!!"

Another high-pitched roar rang out, and the mane-stone wolves standing on the surrounding rocks began to move.

One by one, they struggled to move their limbs, grabbing handfuls of flying sand and rocks, and pounced towards them.

hum-

The "spiritual field" expanded and spread, and the giant bee vibrated its wings, leaving only golden arcs in the air.

Although it really wanted to go and confront the leader of the mane rock werewolves right now, it also knew that as the team's main attacker and finisher, it should first help its teammates deal with this group of mane rock werewolves.

Swish-

With a slight twitch of its wings, Togekiss unleashed a series of "air slashes," accurately striking the two Lycanrocs charging at the forefront.

Their "rock rush" was abruptly interrupted, and then the Fire Monkey took three steps in two, leaped high into the air, and landed heavily.

Milky white, crystalline particles shattered from Eevee's body and quickly entered the body of Infernape, which was leaping in the air.

help!

Two fists, imbued with intense Fighting-type energy and enhanced by "Boost Punch," slammed precisely into the heads of the two Lycanrocs that were in a "cowardly" state.

Boom! !

Both heads were sunken deep.

But this is just the beginning.

A bright green energy ball shot out from Latios's mouth in the air.

It contains pure Grass-type energy, making it extremely effective against Rock-type Lycanroc.

"Waaah—"

With two low moans, the two elite-level mane rock werewolves lost their fighting ability in the blink of an eye before they could even get close.

Boom boom boom!

Suddenly the ground trembled.

Not far away, a dark-form Lycanroc slammed its arm heavily onto the ground.

One after another, sharp stone pillars shot out from the ground, rushing straight towards the location of the Fire Monkey.

Alakazam's eyes flickered slightly, and the countless strands of psychic power spreading out from it instantly expanded, causing Infernape and Aegislash to switch positions in an instant.

"sigh!"

The Shielded Swordsman, wielding a large shield, met the charging "Stone Attack" head-on.

Just as the yellowish-brown stone pillar was about to hit the Shielded Sword Monster, a transparent glass barrier lit up around its body as if by conditioned reflex.

The stone pillar passed through the "reflective barrier," but its power was greatly reduced. When it hit the shield of the Aegislash, it instantly turned into dust.

The Shielded Swordsman's face was full of contempt.

He disdainfully dusted off the shield with a purple silk ribbon.

That's it?

Upon seeing this, the mane-like werewolf that launched the attack turned even redder, its already crimson eyes turning even redder.

With its back hunched and hands dragging on the ground, it charged towards the Shielded Sword Monster with all its might.

Quickly approaching the Aegislash, under its provocative gaze, it lunged with its ferocious mouth to bite down.

Boom!

however.

Two bright white blades fell from the sky and struck it precisely.

The evil energy emanating from his open mouth dissipated quietly as he became dazed.

Clang!

The Shielded Sword Monster instantly switched forms, drawing its sword.

The "Holy Sword Combo" sent the mane rock werewolf flying into the air with a vertical slash from below.

A golden arc of light, interspersed with a faint bluish-green halo, swiftly completed the harvest.
