Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

Ice-type spirit.

Geometric snowflakes mostly live in extremely cold caves. They have a strong freezing ability and can completely freeze their prey with temperatures below minus 100 degrees Celsius.

Xia Yan and his group's actions of destroying the ice and snow covering the cave undoubtedly provoked the geometric snowflake, causing it to perceive the appearance of an enemy.

That's why they launched the attack without hesitation.

Although the geometric snowflake is an ice-type spirit, there is one aspect of this spirit that people talk about.

Those are pure Ice-type Pokémon, and they seem to have nothing to do with any other type, yet they can actually learn one of the ultimate moves of Grass-type Pokémon, Solar Beam.

Those who don't know them might mistake them for ice-type and grass-type spirits.

"Double sheaths, continue," Xia Yan said.

Now that you've found your rhythm with both sword sheaths, why not let it keep slashing?

"sigh!"

Upon hearing this, Shuangjianshe immediately drew another sword, and a shadowy figure appeared behind Geometric Snowflake. The phantom of the Holy Sword, employing a special technique of continuous slashes, struck Geometric Snowflake directly without hesitation.

Bang!

The geometric snowflake was smashed straight to the ground, and the hard ice on the ground cracked layer by layer. A single sword strike rendered it unable to fight.

Fighting-type moves are effective against Ice-type Pokémon, and the second strike of the combo attack, Holy Sword, doubles in power.

"A senior-level geometric snowflake."

Xia Yan made a preliminary assessment of the strength of this geometric snowflake.

Not very strong.

"If the elves in this cave are this powerful..."

That's something we can continue exploring.

However, he hadn't finished speaking.

ding ding ding-

The crisp sound of ice crystals colliding echoed from deep within the cave.

Immediately afterwards, a dense mass of geometric snowflakes poured out of the cave, making it look as if snow was falling from inside the cave.

However, the snowflakes are quite large and their destructive power is also quite strong.

Xia Yan's expression changed slightly.

so much?

Seeing this, the two sword sheaths immediately slashed out again.

However, perhaps because the geometric snowflakes appeared too suddenly and in too large a number, this final and most powerful sword strike failed to withstand the combined attack.

While ordinary holy swords can pose a threat to geometric snowflakes, they are not enough to kill them one by one, since Fighting is not the native type of dual-scabbards.

"Hiss!"

Faced with so many geometric snowflakes, Beedrill rushed forward immediately to help relieve the pressure on the Twin Blades.

Yongjira immediately activated its mental field and used its mental blades to attack. It didn't need to lock onto any target; as long as it smashed into the cave, it was guaranteed to hit several geometric snowflakes.

Pokkigu immediately unleashed its supernatural power, aiming at the few that charged at the front.

However, no matter how hard they tried, the geometric snowflakes seemed endless, constantly pouring out of the cave.

Furthermore, as their numbers increased, even stronger geometric snowflakes appeared.

From the initial senior level, to the gradual emergence of a few elite level, and then to the emergence of almost all elite level, and their surge has not even stopped.

Perhaps, in a little while, even the grandest geometric snowflakes will appear.

"go!"

Xia Yan gave a low shout.

There's not enough time.

If he wanted to devour this large group of geometric snowflakes, he could do so as long as there weren't any large patches of "master-level" snowflakes.

However, it will definitely take a lot of time, and the elves will inevitably pay a price for it, either by expending a lot of energy or by getting injured.

Normally it's fine, but tomorrow is the start of the League Trials, entering an unknown alternate dimension. If the difficulty level is as high as the alternate dimension of Regigigas, then we must ensure the condition of our Pokémon before entering.

No one can guarantee that once inside, they won't be chased by a swarm of ancient giant dragonflies like last time.

Even someone as strong as Cynthia has to calm down and adjust her condition today.

Moreover, the key point is that even if you break through the impact of these geometric snowflakes, you may not be able to immediately find what the spoon is pointing to.

Retreating now is the most rational and appropriate choice.

With such a group of geometric snowflakes around, even if others want to get in, they'll have to see if they're strong enough.

Upon hearing Xia Yan's words, Beedrill forcefully unleashed a cross-shaped slash, and its twin sheaths also drew their holy swords, briefly forcing the group of geometric snowflakes back before returning to Xia Yan's side.

Yunjira used Teleport, activating it in a split second. Their superpowers enveloped them, and they immediately left the area.

In the instant that they were teleported away, Xia Yan finally saw a geometric snowflake, which was noticeably larger, emerge from the vast expanse of geometric snowflakes.

This feeling...

Master level!

Luckily, we left early. If we had waited until this master-level geometric snowflake appeared, along with so many elite and senior-level geometric snowflakes, it probably wouldn't have been so easy to leave.

Next time.

Having returned from the Alliance's interdimensional trial, we have had ample time to make all the necessary preparations before returning.

However, Xia Yan only saw the geometric snowflakes of the museum master level, but he did not see the heavy figure that was swaying and slowly walking behind the geometric snowflakes, as well as the sudden drop in the surrounding temperature.

...

...

Shenhe Town.

come back again.

Although we weren't able to complete the exploration today, we at least confirmed the location and the spirits that exist inside the cave.

Having obtained useful information, I will definitely be fully prepared the next time I go.

"came back?"

Cynthia, who was practicing with Glaceon in the courtyard, saw Xia Yan suddenly appear and greeted him.

"Hmm." Xia Yan quickly brushed off the snowflakes and condensed ice crystals from his body, looking somewhat disheveled.

“Your paper… is very good,” Cynthia suddenly said, her expression somewhat complicated.

“You saw it,” Xia Yan replied with a smile.

He spent a lot of time and effort on that paper, so of course it couldn't be bad.

Cynthia pursed her lips. "So, you don't know what happened?"

Upon hearing this, Xia Yan was taken aback. "What happened? Oh, you mean the paper? It'll probably cause quite a stir, since there aren't many trainers who own Eevee, but there aren't a few either."

"I suggest you take a look yourself."

"Ok?"

"We also need to be mentally prepared."

The more Xia Yan listened, the more uneasy he felt.

Could it be that his paper was criticized or questioned by certain people?

However, he reviewed it many times from beginning to end. The writing time was not long, but the conception took a long time. Apart from the conjecture about Ye Yibu, there shouldn't be any major points that can be questioned.

With that thought in mind, Xia Yan rolled up his sleeves and strode towards the house.

It seems necessary to let the people of the Elf World know the skills of a professional "keyboard warrior".

Cynthia watched as Xia Yan stormed into the room, a look of confusion in her eyes.

What is he angry about?

soon.

Xia Yan's "elegant" voice, which he hadn't been deliberately suppressing, came from inside the house.

"Holy crap?!"

Xia Yan's eyes lit up when he saw his own thesis post, which had taken him a long time to open, with thousands of comments and the authors of the most popular comments.

Sakuragi, Professor Yamanashi, Professor Oki, and a host of other famous professors.

What truly made him lose his composure was the small suffix "Ibrahimovic Authority" that was bestowed upon him by the League's official website, right after the three words "Dodo".

This is official, genuine product!

If we go by what Xia Yan said in his previous life, then he's now... famous!

So, in other people's eyes, he'll become Dr. Xia Yan? No, he hasn't become a doctor yet; he hasn't even obtained any degree certificate.

According to the unwritten rules of a certain "elite circle," anyone who breaks out of the circle can become a "teacher." So, in the future, when others address Xia Yan, won't they have to add those two words to indicate their status?

In other words...

Professor Xia Yan has gone viral!

Chapter Thirty-Three: A Grand Spectacle!

Xia Yan anticipated that after this paper was published, he might gain a relatively high status in the field of Pokémon like Eevee.

I just didn't expect it to come so quickly.

Moreover, this status wasn't gradually acquired through the titles or influences of others; it was directly determined by the official alliance.

Of course, the most likely explanation is that it attracted a lot of attention with the support of people like Sakuragi and Professor Yamanashi. Even Professor Oki "visited" the paper and expressed his support.

This is probably why the league officials came to a conclusion so quickly.
