Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

However, a few powerful Solrock Pokémon were still locked onto Beedrill.

In an instant, all sorts of moves came rushing in.

"Kashi!"

Casey sensed the danger posed by Togekiss and Beedrill. Her angry voice echoed through the cave, and she rapidly moved the prayer beads in her hand, unleashing an unprecedented surge of psychic power.

The fluctuations in his superpowers reached their peak in an instant, and a faint pinkish-purple starlight seeped into the depths of his azure eyes.

Thanks to Abra's psychic powers, Beedrill managed to gain a slight opening to struggle, and it did not disappoint Abra, once again using the Dark-type energy of "Knock Off" to break free from the encirclement of the Solrocks.

"Hiss!"

The Beedrill's scarlet compound eyes gleamed; now it was time for it to show its power.

Meanwhile, Togekiss, who had attracted a lot of attention from Solrock by using the "Focus" move, was about to be attacked.

However, just as the Sunrocks' superpowers struck, a red light flashed.

Left with no other choice, Xia Yan summoned the spirit again.

And what appeared was a Water/Dark type Pokémon, Sharpedo!

Dark-type Pokémon are immune to Psychic-type moves, so Sharpedo, which stood in front of Togepi, took a lot of Psychic-type attacks but was completely unharmed.

It was a little confused when it first came out.

Before they could fully understand what was going on, they were scanned by superpowers, leaving them somewhat confused.

"Chocolate!"

Well done, you big mouth!

Tokigu visibly breathed a sigh of relief while praising Megalodon incessantly.

"Big Mouth" is, of course, the nickname Tokkigu gave to the Megalodon.

Megalodon reacted somewhat slowly after hearing Togekigu's words.

"Roar?"

I got beaten up?

Given the Megalodon's vengeful nature, it would obviously be unacceptable.

It opened its blood-red maw, and water seeped from its body.

"Stay put."

However, before the Megalodon could retaliate, that familiar sound, which had become its nightmare, reached its ears.

Turning around, I saw Xia Yan.

The Megalodon's initially menacing demeanor instantly vanished, replaced by an embarrassed smile and an obedient nod.

"Waaah..."

Alright, I'll just stay put. So what if I'm just a meat shield? Is there anything more suitable as a meat shield than Megalodon?

Then, the Megalodon obediently stood guard in front of Xia Yan and Togekiss.

Xia Yan's attention was no longer on it, nor even on the Beedrill fighting a group of Sunrock at the front. Instead, it was on Casey beside him.

Casey's condition was somewhat unusual at this point.

It floated cross-legged in mid-air, its superpowers surging and continuously gushing from its body, supporting the Beedrill at the forefront and helping it avoid some attacks that were difficult to dodge.

With its left hand, it held the little monk Anci's prayer beads, fiddled with them one by one, its mouth constantly moving, uttering obscure and difficult syllables. Through its slit eyes, a faint pinkish-purple halo became more and more obvious.

It seems to have entered a state of selflessness, only constantly using its superpowers to help Beedrill, ignoring everything else.

It was precisely because of this state that Xia Yan was able to stop the Megalodon's attack.

Casey has clearly reached a certain tipping point.

Faced with Solrock, another Psychic-type Pokémon that was stronger and more numerous, Casey's dormant Psychic talent was fully unleashed.

Looking back on Casey's journey.

Its mother, Kadabra, came from Team Rocket's laboratory. Due to certain experiments, Kadabra's psychic powers became extremely strong, but this also made Kadabra's self-control and self-awareness very weak. Even so, Kadabra used its psychic powers to nurture Abra, who was still a Pokémon egg, day after day.

This is why Casey displayed extraordinary superpowers from birth.

After being born, Casey was given energy cubes rich in energy and nutrients from the very beginning, thanks to Xia Yan's efforts.

Furthermore, during the events they experienced together, Casey received a Buddhist rosary from Anci and the first half of "Ho-Oh's Saying" left by the legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh, which enabled her to learn meditation techniques and enter deep meditation, thus compensating for Casey's weakness of needing long periods of sleep to replenish her energy.

After that, he absorbed a lot of life and crystals through his superpowers, as well as fragments of what appeared to be a superpowered tablet given to him by King Kikuko.

Coupled with Casey's strong personality, and feeling the pressure from the growth of Beedrill and Togekiss, she honed her superpowers through deep meditation day after day.

perhaps.

Even Casey herself doesn't know the extent to which her superpowers have reached their limit.

It simply believes that it is only that strong, so it is that strong.

However, the benefits it gained through various circumstances and coincidences have not been fully developed and utilized.

Because Psychic-type Pokémon are relatively rare, Xia Yan hasn't encountered many Psychic-type Pokémon.

However, during this trip to Meteor Falls, they encountered Solrock, another Psychic-type Pokémon. Their use and intensity of Psychic powers finally successfully activated Abra's abilities.

Finally, Xia Yan's training program, which involved compressing its mental field, gradually brought out its hidden talents and abilities.

Faced with a group of Solar Rocks that were all stronger than itself, and with Beedrill and Togekiss struggling to keep up, Casey finally unleashed its power.

For Casey, at this moment, apart from her body's instinctive actions, her consciousness became somewhat blurred.

It vaguely felt as if it were in a distorted, eerie, hazy, and fantastical world.

I saw several blurry, indistinct figures.

Solemn and dignified.

Chapter Sixty-Six: The Old Fox?

In the hazy world, Casey saw three figures.

One of them was the clearest, its golden-red figure emerging from the haze like the rising sun or a blazing crimson flame, exuding a vibrant aura.

The third figure was the smallest of the three, so blurry that it was difficult to see clearly. However, it was the only one whose voice could be heard, seemingly singing something intermittently.

The last one was also the most indistinct. At first glance, it was just a pure white light, full of a sacred and solemn aura. If it weren't for the parts of a body that were vaguely visible in the white light, Casey probably wouldn't have been able to tell whether it was light or something else.

However, Casey could sense that the gazes of all three figures were fixed on it.

Although she didn't know why, Casey still conveyed a friendly message.

At the same time, Casey appeared to Xia Yan with a white light.

A dazzling milky-white halo illuminated the entire cave.

Standing next to Casey, Xia Yan's eyes were completely filled with the white light, and a trace of relief rose deep in his eyes.

"Finally, it's going to evolve..."

As the only Pokémon among all of Xia Yan's Pokémon, it was raised from its egg. From the moment it hatched and caused a psychic disturbance, to the end of its growth period and becoming a qualified Pokémon, it is now about to complete its first evolution.

Xia Yan felt a faint sense of fatherly satisfaction, like his own child had finally grown up.

He had previously worried that Casey's uncontrolled fluctuations in superpowers might be influenced by the condition and genes of its mother, Yundira.

Therefore, Xia Yan repeatedly inquired about Casey's condition and feelings, checked on it every now and then, and asked about its superpowers and mental state. It can be said that he was extremely worried about Casey.

Fortunately, everything was moving in a positive direction, and Casey finally took that final step under external pressure.

“It’s just right.”

Togekiss's little eyes were full of stars as it watched Abra evolve, its mind flashing back to the scene of its own evolution.

Will I be this handsome when I evolve?

Beedrill, who was in the distance, also noticed Casey's change. As the strongest member of Xia Yan's team and the first to join, it actually had a similar mentality to Xia Yan.

Beedrill also watched Casey grow up little by little.

Now, Casey has finally ushered in her own transformation.

In a secluded corner, the white figure that had previously left reappeared, its red eyes fixed intently on Casey, lost in thought.

slowly.

The white light gradually faded, and Casey's appearance underwent a dramatic transformation.

It still has a yellow body and a brown breastplate, but it is larger now. Its tail is longer and bushier, and it has a red five-pointed star on its forehead. Its face is similar to a fox, with a narrow muzzle and two tufts of hair that look like whiskers.

Most importantly, its eyes were fully open, and within its superpower-filled azure eyes, three differently colored points of light flickered in and out.

Yundira!

Abra's evolved form is a pure Psychic-type Pokémon with extremely high intelligence, making it one of the most intelligent Pokémon.

Holding a silver spoon in her right hand and pointing it towards the Sun Rock, while her left hand held a string of Buddhist prayer beads that seemed to have turned even redder, she held them to her chest, giving her a resemblance to the young monk Anci.

Togekiss stared blankly at the evolved Kadabra, its face full of disbelief.

"Is that alright?"

This change is indeed quite significant.

It's not that Kadabra and Abra have no similarities; in fact, the two Pokémon are quite similar.

However, judging from appearance alone, Pokkigu found it hard to accept that Kaysie, such a cute and innocent little boy, had suddenly transformed into Yongdira, who looked middle-aged or even older.

“Chocolate…”

The little fox, having jumped over the big fox, suddenly became an old fox?

This is indeed quite abrupt.

Kadabra heard Togekiss's rambling and gave it an annoyed look. The cool demeanor that Kadabra had painstakingly created was instantly ruined by Togekiss.

just.

Abra's evolution attracted the attention of Xia Yan, Togekiss, and Beedrill, but Solrock didn't care much about Abra's evolution.
