Chapter 262 Legion Battle!

Ghost Legion VS Infinite Legion!

Legion battles were something Xia Yan had never tried before, but he had been arranging and planning his lineup for a long time.

His "infinite switching" system was the prototype of the "infinite army".

and so.

Even though it was his first time participating in a so-called legion battle, Xia Yan wasn't entirely without confidence.

and.

Putting aside other things.

Before finding a way to use a spirit like Eulop as each "exchange node" in the Infinite Legion, Xia Yan also found a Legion simulation that used the Four-Song Needle Dragon as a node.

And now.

His "Infinite Legion" is not yet fully formed.

Because, in essence, the "Infinite Legion" is a legion system that exists forever, with the ability to expand in both directions and nodes, and has no end.

Its upper limit and its limit depend on how much Xia Yan can bear with his superpowers.

As long as his superpowers can handle it, theoretically there is no limit to the "Infinite Legion".

Suddenly, a series of rustling sounds.

A long neigh came from behind Xia Yan, followed by the crisp sound of horses' hooves.

She leaped up gently.

Xia Yan sat steadily on the back of the spirit horse that ran out from behind him, gently holding the soft reins.

In a short time.

Xia Yan's superpowers and mental strength have been greatly enhanced.

Then it merged with Alakazam's psychic powers.

"Alakazam, Mega Evolve!"

"Whoosh!!"

As the floating Alakazam was instantly enveloped in the seven-colored red light of the Brilliant Pearl, its appearance underwent a significant change under the light of evolution.

Super Alakazam! And most importantly.

It is Mega Alakazam after its Mega Evolution, and its psychic abilities have also received a huge boost.

It is clearly visible.

All the Euryptus in this space seemed to be light bulbs that had been turned on, slowly emitting a faint halo.

The superpowers that connect them also seem to have become tangible.

Zhang Biri's superpower, "Spider Web," covered the entire area through the interconnected nodes.

at the same time.

Togekiss, Latios, and Dragapult, the three Pokémon that Xia Yan had nurtured as secondary cores, were also integrated into this vast "web," becoming a secondary hub second only to Mega Alakazam.

"Hiss!"

Beedrill let out a low trembling sound, its scarlet appearance encompassing the densely packed Ghost-type Pokémon opposite it, taking them all into its training.

Not just that.

In addition, there were Aegislash, Infernape, Sirfetch'd, Sylveon, Ninetales, and many more. All of Xia Yan's Pokémon were mobilizing their energy, ready to fight at any moment.

"Ming"

The petite, white-haired Zoroia let out a long cry, its mane trembling even without wind, and wisps of hazy, indistinct white mist gradually spread out.

The area, already shrouded in black, white, and gray fog, had very poor visibility.

In addition, there was the hazy white mist released by Zorua.

It turned the entire space into a blur.

"Bai Lao"

Amidst the black, white, and gray mist, the royal descendants, led by Elder Bai, watched Xia Yan's series of actions and his commanding presence as he summoned and controlled so many spirits, their expressions becoming extremely focused.

"Legion".

The old man, Bai Lao, with white hair and beard and wearing a white robe, stared intently at Xia Yan, who was riding on the Spirit Nether Horse, and slowly uttered two words that Xia Yan found hard to accept.

He never expected this.

When facing the "Ghost Legion" of their royal descendants, Xia Yan did not use legendary Pokémon to fight back, nor did he try to find a breakthrough by relying on the strength of his own Pokémon. Instead, he dealt with them in the most direct and straightforward way.

Legions against legions!

"Calm down! No matter how strong he is individually, his abilities are ultimately limited in the face of a massive army system."

Despite his shock, Old Bai could only use this method to appease the others.

"Even Kikuko, who is famous for her single-handedly leading an army, couldn't withstand an army of this size. The strength of a single Pokémon is insignificant in the face of such a massive number."

Hearing what Elder Bai said, the rest of the royal descendants finally calmed down.

Yes.

The Allied forces are so strong.

But how many trainers are needed to maintain the smooth operation and performance of the legion?

How many officers, non-commissioned officers, and so on, are needed to pass on the torch from one level to the next to ensure the smooth operation of the entire abandoned army?

Xia Yan on the other side is very strong.

But in the end, there's only one person. And they are now.

It could have a massive army!

Old Bai's deep eyes flickered slightly. As a superhuman himself, he was the commander-in-chief of the royal descendants' "Ghost Legion".

"Let's do it!"

Success or failure hinges on this moment.

"Hehehe!!"

In the arena, Gengar, whose size had grown to an enormous size, roared, and billowing black mist swirled around its body, as if the massive Ghost-type energy injected into it was too much for it to control, and it spilled out around its body.

just.

The giant Alakazam was just about to make a move. (Metaphor)

Superpower nodes and threads shimmered across the entire area.

Mega Alakazam, sitting cross-legged and suspended in mid-air, suddenly appeared in front of the giant Gengar.

With her slender arm outstretched and palm open, she hovered in front of the giant Gengar. At the same time, countless strands of psychic power began to wrap around and envelop the giant Gengar from all directions, restricting its ability to move.

What surprised the giant Gengar the most was...

Despite being infused with so much Ghost-type energy and gaining a huge boost in strength, it was still limited by Mega Alakazam's psychic abilities.

How can it be?

It surpasses even the champion level.

Super Alakazam is only Champion-level.

I don't know.

Under the "Infinite Legion" system, and after fusing with the enhanced Xia Yan's psychic abilities, Super Alakazam's current strength has surpassed that of a Champion.

and.

Its control over itself is far greater than that of the giant Gengar at this moment.

Theoretically speaking, under the "Infinite Legion" system, Mega Alakazam is invincible.

but.

The giant Gengar is temporarily restrained.

However, the enormous number of Ghost-type Pokémon were not contained.

The surging ghost-type energy was truly like a dark curtain; as it swept towards Xia Yan and his group, it felt as if the entire sky had pressed down on them.

That intense sense of pressure, that visual and psychological impact, is something you can never see in a real battle between Pokémon.

so.

In the world of Pokémon, Pokémon battles simply showcase the abilities of a single Pokémon and a single trainer.

The real battles can only be experienced in legion battles.

Even though Xia Yan had prepared himself mentally, he was still briefly startled when he saw the entire army, tens of thousands of Ghost-type Pokémon, pressing down on him with their energy completely connected and linked together.

But after a brief moment of surprise, Xia Yan felt a surge of excitement.

He hadn't felt this excited in Pokémon battles in a long time.

this time.

He did get excited.

An active mind leads to a faster response.

Metaphor

The first to disappear from sight was a large bee, brimming with fluffy golden electricity.

However, this time Beedrill disappeared not because of its speed, but because of its spatial disappearance, which is even faster than its speed alone.

When it reappears.

They were already among a massive ghost army.

Upon seeing the suddenly appearing Beedrill, the surrounding Ghost-type Pokémon were startled and immediately swarmed towards it.

Shadow Ball, Shadow Claw, Shadow Fist, and many other offensive moves appeared out of thin air.
