Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

"No matter how you look at it, Teacher Xia Yan's Nine-Tails move is illogical," Qing Lü said, shaking her head, having witnessed this outcome before.

"No," Daigo said, "Don't you think it's more surprising that Lance's Gyarados was able to break free from this ice spell?"

Qinglu was stunned for a moment.

After a long while, he finally nodded.

"Makes sense."

Whether something is reasonable or not is meaningless when applied to Xia Yan.

But what was truly surprising was that Watari almost broke something that seemed illogical.

"Thank you for your hard work, Gyarados."

Lance held up a Poké Ball and said something to the Gyarados inside, then took out a new Ultra Ball.

A defeat in one match is normal when facing Xia Yan and will not affect his mentality or attitude.

"Please, Charizard!"

Wataru throws out a Poké Ball.

Click!

Charizard spread its huge orange wings, revealing its densely packed tiny scales to Xia Yan and Nine-Tailed Fox, looking down at Nine-Tailed Fox from its high position.

Bear!!

The flames at the end of its tail suddenly shot up, and the swirling orange flames emitted intense heat, melting the surrounding snowflakes.

If we say...

Gyarados's "Flamethrower" is no match for Ninetales' Ice-type energy.

Charizard's flames would definitely render Ninetales' ice-type moves and energy completely ineffective.

at this point.

Whether it's Lance or Charizard, they both have absolute information.

"Come back, Nine-Tails."

But they weren't the only ones who knew this; Xia Yan did too.

Without hesitation, he took out a Poké Ball and recalled Ninetales.

This is not just a basic advantage in attributes, but also an absolute suppression in strength.

"Charizard, Dragon Dance!"

Du had no intention of missing the brief window when Xia Yan replaced the spirit.

Du wouldn't let go of even the slightest opportunity when facing Xia Yan.

He had long anticipated that Xia Yan would replace the Pokémon.

"Roar!!"

The fire-breathing dragon flapped its wings and soared into the sky, its momentum surging forth.

However, compared to the difficulty Gyarados faces in performing "Dragon Dance," Charizard's "Dragon Dance" was relatively easy this time.

"This match..."

Xia Yan rubbed the Nine-Tails' Poké Ball, thought for a moment, and then made a decision.

"Then, I'll leave it to you."

That's all.

Xia Yan threw his second Poké Ball.

"quack!!"

Duck Bro makes a dazzling appearance!

Heaven knows how long Onion Soldier thought about his look for this appearance.

Finally, it's the Sword and Shield Duck's turn to appear.

"Wait a minute. Is that Onion Warrior?"

"Isn't that Farfetch'd? You don't even recognize the elves that are unique to our Galar region?"

"But I seem to remember that the Onion Soldier's weapon... was a green onion. Don't tell me that the thing in its hand is a green onion."

"this......"

All I saw was...

Holding the Aegis and the Holy Sword, the "Fertile Creeper - Sword and Shield King" form looked excited as it carefully rubbed its new weapon.

"Look! It's Cangxiang and Zamarante!"

"Have all the legendary heroes arrived?"

On the enormous screen of the Arch of Fame, two huge gray wolves, one red and one blue, appeared, their figures upright and imposing.

Their gazes lingered on the Onion Soldier.

Chapter 257 Xia Yan VS Yulongdu (Part 2)

Farfetch'd Sword and Shield King Mode VS Charizard.

To others, this leek soldier might seem unusual, as it didn't use its most prized leek as a weapon, but instead opted for a sword and shield that looked rather unusual, replacing the original leek and leek leaf shield.

But Du had personally witnessed how Xia Yan's Onion Soldier displayed its might and killed "Dark Night" Mugentana, who was feared by the residents of the Galer region.

That sword pierced through the core of Wuji Taina, causing immense destruction and commotion.

It was the huge commotion caused by that sword strike that attracted countless reporters and media outlets.

This is...

The holy sword and shield once belonged to the legendary heroes, Zacian, the King of Sword and Shield, and Zamazenta.

The Charizard, who also felt the pressure and had witnessed that scene, involuntarily tensed up and put on a stern face.

Fortunately.

Before Xia Yan summoned Sirfetch'd, Wataru's Charizard had already completed the "Dragon Dance" technique.

This brief window of opportunity gave Charizard a slight initial advantage.

Second.

As a Fire/Flying type, Charizard has a significant type advantage over Fighting type Sirfetch'd.

Of course, the Onion Warriors are not without their advantages.

"quack?"

Excited Onion Soldier cautiously poked at the aurora curtain that was faintly visible in front of him.

"That's what the Nine-Tailed Fox left for you," Xia Yan said casually.

"Gah-"

Cong Youbing nodded as if he suddenly understood.

"coming!"

Xia Yan suddenly shouted.

Onion Soldier's expression instantly turned extremely serious. He gripped his sword hilt and shield tightly, his eyes fixed intently on the charging Charizard.

"Charizard, use your wings!"

The sound of the dragon came with the ferocious Charizard spreading its wings, its body covered in a thick, light blue Flying-type energy, enveloping it into a giant bird-like creature.

So fast was it that it appeared in front of Cong Youbing in the blink of an eye.

"Onion Soldiers, stop them!"

"Gah!"

Upon hearing this, the Onion Soldier immediately understood, raised the heavy and sturdy Holy Shield, gripped the ground tightly with his feet, and sank down.

winter!

A dull but intense roar suddenly erupted as the Charizard's enormous, fan-like wings, gleaming with white light, pounded against the ground.

Kaka—

The ground beneath Sirfetch'd's feet immediately cracked and crumbled, and his body, which was already much smaller than Charizard, sank even further.

However, the transfer of power to Charizard was somewhat unexpected.

Charizard's "wing attack," enhanced by "Dragon Dance," couldn't even repel Sirfetch'd.

Then I saw it.

At the point where Sirfetch'd and Charizard collided, a thin curtain of light appeared and disappeared.

"It's the 'Aurora Curtain'! And... that shield!" Du exclaimed in realization.

But next second.

Farfetch'd, who was staring at Charizard at close range, slowly raised his head and suddenly revealed a meaningful and slightly smug smile.

Then, wisps of dark red fighting-type energy suddenly intertwined and rose up.

Xia Yan waved his hand and said with a smile, "Cong Youbing, now's the time to pay back double!"

"Gah!"

"

The hidden fighting energy that Onion Soldier had accumulated suddenly erupted, transforming into an extremely powerful force that pushed back.

boom!

!

Charizard suddenly staggered. The power of its "wing attack" against Sirfetch'd was now doubled.
