Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

Xia Yan nodded, walked up to Du, and placed his index finger on Du's chest, feeling the beating of his heart.

"This is probably what they mean by 'it's easy to gain strength, but difficult to transform one's mind.' It's a transformation of the mind."

One sentence plunged everyone in the private room into deep thought.

They had never experienced it, nor had any elf ever reached the legendary level, so they couldn't quite understand what Xia Yan was trying to say.

It's like a feeling that "can only be understood but not explained".

But no matter what.

It at least gave them some direction.

After saying that, Xia Yan suddenly thought of something.

He muttered in realization, "So that's how it is. That guy's Pokémon has only entered a special stage beyond Champion level, but hasn't reached Legendary level. No wonder he was able to be overwhelmed by Giovanni alone."

"Who?"

Cynthia heard Xia Yan muttering softly.

"Oh, nobody. Old Bai from the Alliance." Xia Yan said casually.

Without reaching that level, he really couldn't figure out the difference between Elder Bai's few Pokémon and true legendary Pokémon, so he assumed they were legendary.

...

...

"Let's congratulate all eight powerful trainers from around the world who have successfully reached Master Ball level and earned the title of 'Eight Masters'! They are making a great start!"

The host's passionate and resounding words echoed throughout the venue.

The list of those who successfully advanced to the "Eight Masters" was displayed one by one on the huge screen.

They are respectively.

Xia Yan, the champion from the Sinnoh region!

The champion from the Johto region, Miyuu Wataru!

The champion from the Hoenn region, Steven Zefuji!

The champion from the Garrard region, Dante!

Lorelei, one of the Four Heavenly Kings from the Kanto region!

Cynthia, one of the Elite Four from the Sinnoh region!

Red, a trainer from the Sinnoh region!

Blue, a trainer from the Sinnoh region!

At first glance, the eight spots for the "Eight Masters" are dominated by the Sinnoh region, which has shocked and impressed many people.

The Sinnoh region has truly risen to prominence.

Little did they know that without the two "outside helpers" Xia Yan had called in, Crimson and Green, the Eight Masters would probably have been a completely different story.

The appearance of this list contains some things that were somewhat expected.

For example, it is not surprising that trainers such as Xia Yan, Lance, Steven, Leon, and Cynthia, who are recognized as the top trainers of the younger generation, are among the "Masters".

This signifies that the rising generation of young players in the league has completely surpassed the older generation in brilliance.

Perhaps the successful advancement of Crimson, Blue, and Kona was somewhat unexpected.

It's not that they aren't strong.

However, it must be acknowledged that the opponents they defeated in the first two rounds were not as strong as Xia Yan.

Of course.

Since it's a competition, Kendi can't be absolutely fair.

Or rather, luck itself is a part of ability.

There were also some relatively regrettable contestants who failed to make it into the final "Eight Masters".

For example, Karuno, the champion of the Carlos region.

Karuno won the first round and advanced to the round of 16.

However, her opponent in the second round was none other than Watari, who was also a champion but came from the Johto region.

Ultimately, he was defeated by Wataru and stopped in the round of 16.

Karuno accepted this with pleasure.

Wataru's current strength is indeed much stronger than Karuno's, and the final score between the two was 4:2, showing a significant difference.

Xia Yan remembered the original story.

Since there were no contestants from the special episode world, such as Crimson and Blue-Green, participating, Karuno was also one of the "Eight Masters".

Furthermore, they successfully defeated Watari in the first round of the quarterfinals, advancing to the semifinals.

However, he was ultimately defeated by the Pill Emperor.

To know.

In the original work, that World Championship wasn't the first one. The previous champion was Leon, and the runner-up was Lance. As a result, Lance was eliminated in the first round of the World Championship that Ash participated in.

Of course, the most outrageous thing was that Ash defeated Steven.

I really don't know if Ash Ketchum would still exist in later generations if he truly had that kind of power.

Unfortunately, what happened next was something Xia Yan didn't know.

If the protagonist were to become a dog in the future, Xia Yan would be glad he wouldn't have to watch that kind of agonizing plot anymore.

Speaking of which...

Was Wataru's defeat of Karuno and entry into the Eight Masters considered revenge for the "arrow's grudge" from the original work?

According to the competition rules.

The sixteen eliminated contestants actually have one more chance to be revived.

Over the next few days, they will hold a "revival match," and the winner will have the opportunity and qualification to challenge any one of the "Eight Masters."

If you win, you take over; if you lose, you remain the same.

But regardless of whether there will be personnel changes later.

Now, the names of these eight "Masters" have become the objects of enthusiastic chanting by the audience.

Popular contestants like Xia Yan, Daigo, and Cynthia had the loudest cheers.

As for Crimson and Cyan, although they appeared out of nowhere.

However, their previous battles have also earned them a certain number of supporters.

This actually gave Xia Yan's "Rainbow Academy" a lot of free publicity.

Not just crimson and turquoise.

Finally, at the host's invitation.

Natsuhiko, Wataru, Lorelei, Daigo, Cynthia, Crimson, and Green all wore the "Rainbow Academy" badge.

This is going to be serious.

Of the eight spots for the "Eight Masters," seven were surprisingly from "Rainbow Academy."

What kind of legendary academy is this?

Many people have used their own methods to investigate information about "Rainbow Academy".

In a short time.

The popularity of the name "Rainbow Academy" is surprisingly comparable to that of the entire World Championship.

Many people have even given these seven people a nickname: the "Rainbow Club".

Rainbow Club: Only the world's truly top and most powerful trainers are qualified to become members.

Rainbow Club President: Sinnoh Champion Xia Yan.

Rainbow Club members: Lance, Lorelei, Steven, Cynthia, Crimson, Blue/Green

According to rumors.

These seven people are the ones who truly determine the future direction and development of "Rainbow Academy".

...

...

Galler Region, Gongmen City, Athletes' Village.

"Pfft—Rainbow Club, this generation of netizens are really talented."

Looking at his phone, Xia Yan couldn't help but chuckle.

It made them seem like some kind of clique.

Little did they know that the so-called seven-person decision-making group was actually Xia Yan's one-man show.

Rainbow Academy is now completely under his control.

"But this is good too. The academy's reputation has been greatly enhanced once again, and the admissions office staff seem to only get four hours of sleep a day."

Xia Yan estimated.

If this continues, the number of registered students at "Rainbow Academy" will directly exceed the total number of students in all other elf academies in the entire elf world.

no way.

His "Rainbow Academy" has almost no entry requirements for students.

"Xia Yan, I need to discuss something with you."

The sudden visit of Emperor Dan.

"Welcome, President of the Garrard League Champions."

Upon seeing Dan Di, Xia Yan couldn't help but tease him.
