Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

"Battle begins!"

After confirming the condition of the two players, the referee suddenly dropped the flag.

Only when the battle between the two begins can it be considered to have officially started.

"Land Cloud, Sword Dance!"

With one hand in his pocket and the other waving, Sakaki seized the initiative.

"land!

"

Surrounded by the clanging and clashing sword formation, the aura of the Earth Cloud began to rise wildly.

Start with "Sword Dance"?

Xia Yan raised an eyebrow.

So confident?

All I can say is, as expected of Boss Sakaki.

Aren't you worried at all that your "Sword Dance" combo will be interrupted at the start?

Xia Yan lowered his eyes slightly.

The voice suddenly became sharp and cold.

Our opponent is Sakaki, so we absolutely cannot underestimate him.

"Infernape, high-five!"

"Ku-ge—"

Upon hearing this, Infernape instantly straightened its bent knees and shot out, leaving a charred mark on the ground amidst the firelight of the birds.

It moved so fast that it appeared in front of the Earth Cloud in the blink of an eye.

"earthquake!"

Suddenly, Sakaki's voice rang out at just the right moment.

and.

The clanging sword formation surrounding the earth cloud suddenly disappeared, replaced by a wave-like "earthquake" impact.

Change tactics!

The "Sword Dance" move was just a decoy; Giovanni's real intention was to force Infernape to interrupt it.

If you prepare in advance and time your attack correctly, you can inflict considerable damage on Infernape.

To know.

Fire-type Infernape is weak against Ground-type Pokémon.

Of course, such a change of tactics places extremely high demands on both the Pokémon and the trainer, requiring not only perfect teamwork but also a keen grasp and control of timing.

What if Xia Yan and Infernape don't choose to launch a preemptive attack to interrupt Landorus?

Then, the land cloud naturally completed its "sword dance".

By weakening Infernape's physical attack with "Intimidate," and with Landorus's own physical attack being boosted, Landorus will gain an absolute advantage.

Therefore, regardless of whether they guessed Giovanni's tactical arrangements or not, Natsuhiko and Infernape had to launch a preemptive attack.

This is Yang Conspiracy.

It suits Sakaki's personality very well.

Even when making plans and schemes, he would handle things in a relatively positive way, rather than resorting to conspiracies and tricks.

Sakaki's plan was excellent.

But he miscalculated one thing.

That's Xia Yan's current strength, and his synergy with Infernape.

The moment Sakaki's voice rang out and he changed his move, Natsuhiko's voice followed.

"Take it on."

An "earthquake"?

Not enough to instantly kill Infernape.

Snapped!

As the crisp sound of a "high five surprise attack" rang out, the "earthquake" of the land cloud followed closely behind.

Before Landorus could "shrink," a terrifying earthquake suddenly erupted, sweeping across the entire rocky terrain and causing Infernape to furrow its brow in pain.

However, a faint blue halo quickly appeared on Earth Cloud's body.

Spiritual herbs!

The land cloud recovered from its "shrinking" state at an extremely fast speed.

"That's incredibly detailed." Du, who was watching this scene from inside the private room, couldn't help but exclaim in admiration.

“Carrying ‘Mind Herb’ is quite effective against Xia Yan. It can not only counter Xia Yan’s preferred ‘Insect’ tactics, but also defend against Togekiss’s infinite ‘Air Slash’ tactics. The benefits are very high,” Daigo analyzed objectively.

indeed.

"Heart Herb" is great for both Infernape and Togekiss.

"So, it seems that Teacher Xia Yan is going to lose the first game to the Rockets?" Ajin suddenly became interested.

Although he didn't particularly like Team Rocket or Giovanni, he knew that the Giovanni of this world was different from the Giovanni of his own world, so he maintained a calm attitude.

“That’s not necessarily true.” Cynthia glanced at Arkin.

When faced with Cynthia's gaze, Akin instinctively shrank back.

"Outrageous!"

Xia Yan seemed unaffected by the Land Cloud's "Spiritual Herbs," and remained calm in his command.

"Kuh!"

! ”

Despite enduring the intense pain caused by the "earthquake," the Infernape roared to the sky.

Bear!

!

The terrifying, dark red flames transformed into a colossal wave that exploded instantly.

The intense flames engulfed most of the arena.

Even the nearby Landorus, under the pressure of Infernape's burst of flames, instinctively took a few steps back.

"Fire!"

Immediately afterwards, Xia Yan's voice rang out again.

coming!

One of Xia Yan's signature moves is manually turning on "Fire"!

"Ku-ah—!"

"

The Infernape's roar did not stop, and the flames it ignited showed no sign of abating.

Intense flames erupted from its body, and the flames shooting into the sky above its head ignited the entire arena.

In the eyes of the audience, the entire arena now seemed to have become a sea of flames.

Feeling the intense heat rushing towards him, even Sakaki couldn't help but show surprise in his eyes.

Did Xia Yan foresee this outcome?

Is Infernape taking the "Earthquake" attack just to give it a chance to trigger its "Firestorm" ability?

It's not surprising that the "high-five surprise attack" didn't achieve the desired effect.

So that's for... the next move?

Want to decide the outcome in one move?

Thinking of this, Sakaki couldn't help but laugh.

How confident they are!

But this confidence is something that Giovanni greatly admires and agrees with.

Since Xia Yan believed that his Infernape could defeat his Landorus in one move.

Does Giovanni lack the confidence to defeat a crippled Infernape in one move?

next second.

Sakaki's expression turned serious, appearing extremely focused.

Let's settle this with one move!

"Land cloud, earth cracks!"

Sakaki waved his hand dismissively.

"Infernape, Cliff Sword!"

If it were just a matter of exchanging a single move, both Xia Yan and Infernape would be absolutely confident that they would not lose to any opponent!

"land!

"

"Kuh!"

"

Both elves simultaneously unleashed terrifying, suffocating energy, and the sweeping aura continuously pounded against the energy barrier, causing the barrier to light up with streaks of white light.
