Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

The attack from the land cloud in its spirit beast form was blocked once again, and Elder Bai finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Sakaki's attacks were somewhat unreasonable, launching one attack after another, leaving the already stretched-thin White Elder struggling to defend himself.

Burning Words

But when he saw the relaxed look on Bai Lao's face, Sakaki also revealed an even more confident smile.

His smile, however, once again gave Old Bai a bad feeling.

next second.

The sandstorm that had been raging in the area paused briefly.

Has the sandstorm stopped?

of course not.

During this brief pause, when he saw the scene amidst the vast sandstorm, Old Bai's old face instantly became somewhat dazed.

Then, for the first time, a look of fear appeared in his eyes.

Even when facing Xia Yan's explosive attack, the usually calm and collected Elder Bai actually showed fear at this moment.

How could the Vice President of the Pokémon League be afraid?

Yes.

Simply because he saw it...

Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Sandslash, Golem, Onix, Marowak, Rhyperior, Quagsire...

A vast number of Ground-type Pokémon, too numerous to count.

Since he had agreed with Xia Yan to try to lure out this guy hiding behind the scenes, with Xia Yan as bait and Sakaki as the final catcher, he naturally made ample preparations.

These spirits hidden in the sandstorm were all prepared in advance by him.

No doubt about it.

These are all his spirits!

The Rockets may lack other things, but they have plenty of resources.

Giovanni, who possesses the power of Viridian, also has physical qualities and energy that others do not have. Raising Pokémon is his hobby and pursuit, not to mention that he raises Ground-type Pokémon.

although.

These Ground-type Pokémon in the sandstorm cannot be considered his main Pokémon.

However, every Pokémon that is put on the market will inevitably be hyped up to exorbitant prices.

Their strengths varied, but their sheer numbers were terrifying.

This one.

It's Giovanni's "Earth Army"!

It was only then that Old Bai finally realized...

He was outmaneuvered.

He thought he could easily control Xia Yan.

They were outmaneuvered by Xia Yan and Sakaki!

How could this be considered a sudden ambush?

This was clearly a premeditated ambush!

The mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind.

He is the truly ridiculous prey.

But then Sakaki said loudly:

"The Profound Truth of the Earth—The End!"

"roar--!

"

Countless roars rang out in unison, and the stagnant sandstorm became even more intense, almost tangible.

And the most terrifying thing is...

Undoubtedly, it rose from the sandstorm, carrying countless dry sand particles and the overwhelming power of the earth like a raging wave, covering the location where Elder Bai was from all directions.

Boom!

!

With a muffled thud as if the ground were cracking, accompanied by the wild tremors of the wilderness, the wild elves fled in panic, and Old Man Bai was overwhelmed by this terrible attack.

However, as the attack landed, Giovanni's expression turned serious.

he knows.

This will certainly not kill Elder Bai, so what follows is the real key to this battle.

rustling—

After the sand had settled, it suddenly began to wriggle rapidly.

In the blink of an eye, a castle made entirely of sand appeared in Sakaki's sight.

Sand-Eating Lord!

On the fortress wall, Old Bai, looking disheveled, was breathing heavily, his face showing deep fear.

Almost.

That's where I really met my end.

His cold eyes swept over Sakaki.

But then, Sakaki suddenly appeared in his hand, holding a stone that was emitting a rainbow of light.

Keystone!

Old Bai was startled again.

hum-

A faint hum could be heard coming from the air, and the Beedrill, which had been looking for an opportunity from beginning to end, moved like lightning at this moment.

During flight, the super-evolved energy instantly enveloped it and was then quickly broken free and dissipated.

Super Beedrill!

Kakaka—

Beneath the sharp lance, fine cracks appeared on the heavy metal shield.

The shield-wielding swordsman, with his shield raised, finally revealed an expression of disbelief.

Its prized shield was actually shattered by a single blow.

And it was precisely this scene.

This finally led Old Bai to make a decision.

Can't beat!

This time, we really can't win.

Being ambushed and having an incomplete team of Pokémon, coupled with Giovanni's thorough preparation, created a huge disparity in the prerequisites.

Thick black fog rose up instantly, enveloping him in a flash.

next moment.

With another swing of the giant Beedrill's long stinger, the black mist dissipated.

Where can one find Bai Lao now?

They escaped!

Seeing this, Sakaki shook his head slightly.

"As expected, it's quite unlikely that we can keep this old guy alive since he's lived for so many years, without being able to seal off time and space."

but.

Sakaki quickly let out a long sigh of relief.

He smiled again.

"But this time, it's probably not as simple as just causing serious damage."

As they talked...

His smile grew even brighter and more intense.

It wasn't that beating up Old Bai made him feel good or clear-headed.

The main reason is...

That kid is actually being forced out of the league.

These two days.

Sakaki probably wakes up laughing in his sleep.

...

...

Soft sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating a clean and handsome face.

The melodious and pleasant birdsong then began.

The slight tremor of the eyelids.

The young man, who seemed to have been asleep for a long time, slowly opened his somewhat bewildered eyes and subconsciously raised his hand to shield himself from the glaring light.

The young man held the pose for a few seconds, then blinked.

Only when the focus finally emerged did the black eyes regain their luster.
