Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

Without lingering, the two summoned their respective spirits and quickly departed.

And Xia Yan.

After the two left, he turned his attention to the few Eurupes that were watching them warily not far away.

Previously, he had focused some of his attention on these Pokémon, but he had temporarily put them aside because he had to deal with Gigantamax Snorlax.

But now.

He could finally get a proper look at these elves.

Orup is a Bug-type and Psychic-type Pokémon with a shell that resembles a ladybug and hands and feet like humans.

That's why we pay attention to them.

It's because Orp, despite being an insect, is more adept at psychic abilities and is naturally able to learn many psychic-type moves.

But what Xia Yan truly valued was...

This kind of Pokémon, if it grows up smoothly, will be born with the ability to learn "Touch Terrain," a move that is often overlooked but which Xia Yan considers the core of his system.

Besides.

They can also master excellent auxiliary defensive moves such as "Light Wall", "Reflection Wall", "Magic Reflection" and "Mirror Reflection", as well as functional moves such as "Please Go First" and "Psychic Field".

It also includes moves with special effects such as "magic space" and "sealing".

For other trainers, this kind of Pokémon might at most be a decent support Pokémon.

But for Xia Yan...

they.

It is the cornerstone for building a true "infinite army"!

Xia Yan once tried to build an "infinite army" in Metropolis by cooperating with some Najatasaurus.

But in the end, nothing came of it.

On one hand, the Naganadels prefer to stay in Ultra Space, and on the other hand, as Poison and Dragon-type Ultra Beasts, it is very difficult for them to master and become proficient in Psychic moves.

It can be different from Europ.

They are Psychic-type Pokémon by nature, giving them a natural advantage in Psychic moves.

and.

With the exception of a few Bug-type Pokémon, most other Pokémon possess an ability that is unmatched by most others.

Reproductive ability!

As long as he can train several Eurupes to have a certain sense of cooperation, they can then reproduce and pass on their genes.

When it reaches a sufficient scale, the true "infinite army" can be formed.

of course.

The resources and materials required for this process.

It's absolutely massive.

Even though Xia Yan had this idea long ago, he never dared to do it.

On the one hand, he was unable to access such spirits, but more importantly, his abilities and accumulated resources at the time were probably insufficient to withstand such a drain.

But it's different now.

He has access to more resources.

He is the Sinnoh champion, controls most of the Hunter Guild, and has the support of Giovanni from Team Rocket.

This finally allowed Xia Yan to try and truly build his own legion.

At that time.

Like his teacher Kikuko, the dream of one man leading an army is no longer just a fantasy.

Once the "Infinite Legion" is fully formed...

In the entire Pokémon world, there are probably very few people who can compare to him in terms of field combat ability.

Of course, this formation process won't be quick.

And now.

What Xia Yan needed to do was capture a group of decent Europians.

Training them is quite troublesome.

But raising their offspring is much simpler.

and.

Don't assume that what Xia Yan needs is just Eulupu.

Their offspring, the initial form of the Scout Bug, are also quite good Pokémon.

As its name suggests, the Scout Bug has a strong ability to detect and gather intelligence.

They are constantly collecting all kinds of useful or useless information. They can sense the things and changes around them through the hair on their bodies, and they can also transmit information through the antennae on their heads.

Furthermore, since they can become Psychic-type Pokémon in the future, they possess considerable wisdom and are quite intelligent.

Although the Scout Bug is very weak, it is precisely because it is weak that it is inconspicuous.

If it can be developed into a systematic approach.

By then, Xia Yan will possess more than just the powerful "Infinite Legion".

They are also more likely to have a superior intelligence gathering agency.

“Bear apprentice, duck, it’s your turn to make a move.”

...

...

Galleer region.

A secluded place.

In the dimly lit room, many people of various appearances and manners sat.

"We still can't find a way to activate the sword and shield."

"Stop overthinking it. To motivate them, you first need to gain their approval."

"I never intended to use them to summon those two guys."

"Get ready, he'll be here."

Are you really sure?

"Ha—with his countless connections to those mythical beasts, do you think the Sword King and the Shield King can escape?"

"Tsk—now that you mention it, that guy really does have a lot of connections with mythical beasts."

"It doesn't matter. I'll just wait for him here."

"That's true, we've done all the necessary preparations. It's just that the thought of taking action against someone like that is still a little exciting."

"Such a person? At best, he's just a lucky kid."

"But you know what, his progress is very fast."

Have you considered the consequences of failing this time?

"Tsk, failure?"

"This is a must-win situation. Even though we have a backup plan, we are not willing to pay the price if we fail."

"trouble......"

...

...

call--

A howling cold wind swept in, making Cong Youbing shiver and quickly move closer to the Vulcan moth on the other side.

Instantly.

"Gah-"

A refreshing warmth enveloped his entire body, and Cong Youbing let out a comfortable groan.

"Waaah—"

But in such an environment, Nine-Tails undoubtedly felt the most comfortable, as if all the pores on its body had opened up at this moment.

"Kuku!"

"

The bear apprentice, standing in a horse stance, had a slightly red nose; its thin layer of fur was not enough to keep out the cold.

But the little guy didn't back down at all.

Instead, it kept waving its fists, using the heat generated by its own movement to fight off the cold, which it regarded as a tough training session.

"Chakoi~~"

After circling and dancing in the sky for a while, Togekiss joyfully and rapidly descended from the sky, stirring up some snowflakes and bringing gusts of cold wind, before stopping in front of Xia Yan.

The arduous training on the Isle of Armor was temporarily over, and even though it didn't particularly like training, it ignored the cold surroundings.

Togekiss, Nine-Tails, Sirfetch'd, Volcarona, and Kuma's apprentice.

Following their own wishes, Xia Yan led the five little ones onto this vast snowfield.

Crown Snowfield is located in the southernmost part of the Gallar region.

It is a huge and towering snow-capped mountain, Crown Mountain.

What the naked eye can see is only up to the middle of the snow-capped mountain; beyond that, it is shrouded in a sky full of flying snow and thick clouds.

The legendary "Crown Temple," where the Crowned King resided, was located at the summit of Crown Mountain, a place whose shape closely resembled the crown of an ancient king.
