Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

This isn't a PowerPoint presentation, nor is it a turn-based game; there are plenty of ways to deal with various situations.

Marill's weakness in speed alone makes it easy for this Pokémon to fall into an awkward situation where it can be kited.

No matter how strong Mariluli's attack is, it's useless if she can't hit her opponent.

Second.

The current Salamence has five stacks of Attack buff and two stacks of Speed buff.

A Marill cannot withstand being hit by a Salamence even once.

Given these two disparities, Asahi ultimately ended up like the three people before her, being instantly killed by Natsuhiko's Flying Dragon in one move.

There is only one match left in the "Restricted Battle".

Simultaneously.

The conversation between Dante and Mastedt was overheard by Xia Yan, who has keen hearing and superpowers.

Only then did he finally understand.

original.

Did Mastedt put him in this "constraint battle" in order to find him members to form the Interpol branch in the Galle region?

Leaving aside Clara and Saiboli from before.

If Xia Yan doesn't change their little temper, he really needs to reconsider whether he should keep them.

Even though both of them are quite strong, comparable to some gym leaders.

Of course, the Gym Leaders in the Galar region are quite strong, perhaps even comparable to those in the Kanto region.

As for A-Jian and Asahi.

Xia Yan didn't think there was any problem with accepting them.

Ah Jian and Asahi are both meticulous and serious people, making them well-suited for the Interpol system.

Their strength is not weak either; with further training, they might have a chance to reach the Heavenly King level.

If we can obtain two Martial Arts Bear Masters, just like in the original work, then the potential for advancement will undoubtedly be even greater.

At this time.

Mastedt stood up and shouted towards the cliff, "How about it? Want to give it a try?"

As he spoke, everyone in the arena looked toward the top of the cliff.

Xia Yan squinted and saw the little guy standing on the cliff in the distance.

It was only at this time that Dan Di noticed it.

Raising an eyebrow, he said with a hint of surprise, "This little guy is here too? Has it taken a liking to Xia Yan?"

In the words.

Dan Di seemed to be quite familiar with the existence of this little guy.

The rest of Mastedt's disciples also showed expressions of sudden realization after discovering the little guy on the cliff.

Then.

Then, that petite figure leaped off the cliff.

With incredible agility, he stepped onto the rocks on the cliff and easily stood in the center of the area.

“Disciple Xiong…”

Looking at the little guy opposite him, Xia Yan murmured to himself.

prior to.

He noticed the little guy when he was in the dense forest.

Just that.

Xia Yan doesn't really have a strong desire to capture new Pokémon for the time being; he'd rather focus on raising the Pokémon he already has.

Therefore, there was no proactive contact.

After all, as far as he knew, all the martial arts bear masters and bear disciples on Armor Island were somehow related to Mash.

If this bear apprentice is a spirit of Mastad, then flirting with someone else's spirit in front of them is rather unethical.

but.

Look at the way things are now.

It seems that Mastedt is planning to have Xiong's apprentice be his opponent in the final match of this "constraint battle"?

Perhaps sensing Xia Yan's doubts, Ma Shide smiled and explained, "Little Xia, this child is also my disciple, so you don't need to go easy on him."

Disciple?

Ho ho—

The bear apprentice, standing in a horse stance, brandished two punches with great momentum.

Seeing this, Xia Yan couldn't help but smile and took out a Poké Ball.

Since this bear apprentice has such a strong desire to fight, he doesn't want to bully people too much.

Now that the Salamence has stacked all its buffs, it's at a huge disadvantage for the Bear Apprentice.

just.

He was just about to make that move.

"Ku!"

"

But then he heard Xiong's apprentice sternly shout at him to stop.

It stared at the Flying Dragon with a serious expression, its eyes brimming with fighting spirit.

Xia Yan was slightly stunned.

"You want to fight a Salamence?"

The bear apprentice nodded vigorously, his pent-up fighting spirit growing ever stronger.

Xia Yan looked at the Flying Dragon and asked for its opinion.

Salamence doesn't seem to mind this.

"roar--!

"

It wouldn't show mercy just because its bear apprentice didn't look very strong.

"Battle begins!"

Upon hearing this sound, Xiong's apprentice's eyes widened immediately, and all the muscles in his body tensed up instantly.

Stare wide-eyed!

Followed by.

With a loud "bang," Xiong's apprentice slammed his feet into the ground, unleashing tremendous power that shattered the ground and created a sonic boom as he launched himself forward.

It was quite fast, rushing straight up to the Salamence.

"Salamander, Twin Wings!"

"Roar!

"

With a sudden flap of its crimson wings, carrying with it a surge of flight-type energy, it met the charging bear disciple.

Who knew?

Faced with the attack of the Salamence, the bear apprentice did not even try to dodge.

He threw two punches at its wings.

Close combat!

The seemingly small fist collided with the wing, and the Salamence actually felt a slight numbness in its wing.

Xia Yan, who also noticed this, raised an eyebrow.

That shouldn't be the case.

Given Salamence's current attack power, even if it doesn't have the advantage, it shouldn't be at a disadvantage.

But Xia Yan soon understood the reason.

"This guy's covered in 'bodybuilding' stuff?!" he blurted out, slightly flustered.

Upon hearing this, Ma Shide's disciples on the sidelines all smiled knowingly.

That's what makes this bear apprentice so unique.

It strives to cultivate itself and find its own path, constantly using "fitness" to strengthen itself.

That's why it chose to face such a Salamence instead of letting Xia Yan replace the Pokémon.

Good guy.

Xia Yan exclaimed, "Wow!"

Besides.

This bear apprentice's fighting skills are very solid. He can withstand flying attacks with both fists without moving an inch or feeling anything at all.

even.

In the final "close combat" move, a flying kick sent the Salamence flying.

Fortunately, Salamence was agile enough to avoid crashing into the cliff.

"Ku!"
