Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

The plot is surprisingly coherent?

Wouldn't that make it a dispensable step?

of course.

That's not how you say it.

Otherwise, wouldn't it be enough to just look at the result of a battle?

It's simply because they can't understand it.

But as Cynthia looked at the fallen Rockruff and Aegislash, images of the two Pokémon fighting earlier kept flashing through her mind.

finally.

The image froze on a single frame.

She looked at Xia Yan, seemingly testing him, yet also appearing extremely certain.

"Was it that 'Shadowball' incident?"

Xia Yan grinned, and said with a sigh:

"As expected of Cynthia."

The process of casting that "Shadow Ball" was a little bit complicated.

The Ghost-type energy traveled in a large circle along Aegislash's body.

because.

Aegislash, by using the power of antimatter, eliminated the special effects of Cynthia's Rockruff's "Psychic" move.

Rockruff isn't the only Pokémon with special abilities.

This is a battle of special abilities between spirits.

but.

The current situation appears to be 2-3 between Xia Yan and Cynthia, with Xia Yan holding the advantage of having one Pokémon.

But in terms of the entire "Road to the Championship," his situation is not so good.

If the Igor behind that door is indeed well-prepared, then Xia Yan's loss of elves must be strictly controlled.

The good news is.

The fact that the Nine-Tails is only in a deep sleep does not mean that it has no chance of waking up.

The bad news is...

The battle continues, and Cynthia's next Pokémon will be even more difficult to deal with.

Chapter 152 Miss Zhu Lan is serious!

"Let's go."

Although the current result is 3 to 2, it is still an acceptable situation for Cynthia.

Her Garchomp hasn't been used yet.

Cynthia has absolute confidence in her Garchomp.

Even.

Xia Yan's ace Beedrill has not yet been used.

Although that Beedrill was strong, her Garchomp had never faced off against it head-on, and the outcome was always uncertain.

And this time, Cynthia summoned...

Lucario is a Fighting-type and Steel-type Pokémon.

With his sharp eyes and four strands of hair swaying slightly behind his head even in the absence of wind, his aura and presence were extremely powerful.

"Luca—!!"

Lucario's red eyes are fierce, and in a form of absolute loyalty, it surges with powerful aura.

Xia Yan frowned slightly as he looked at Cynthia's Lucario.

However, the Poké Ball he threw out could no longer be retrieved at this point.

"Bu-i~~"

Sylveon took graceful, high steps, its four ribbons swaying with its movements.

just.

When it saw that its opponent was Lucario, whose eyes held a firm and somewhat fierce look, it couldn't help but frown.

"Buyi—"

As a Fairy-type Pokémon, it is naturally at a disadvantage in terms of type when facing Steel-type Pokémon.

and.

In terms of strength.

Although both are Elite Four level Pokémon, Sylveon could still clearly sense the difference in strength between them.

This time, Xia Yan was inferior to Cynthia in his prediction.

He also speculated whether Cynthia would send out Garchomp to stabilize the situation, or even forcefully overwhelm his Pokémon.

Then he could have Sylveon set up a "Foggy Terrain" and then quickly retreat.

"Lucario, Extreme Speed, Power Punch!"

Cynthia crossed her arms, her expression calm and composed as she gave her instructions.

but.

It's still clear from the moves she commands that Lucario is destined to be a Pokémon that relies on strong offense.

"Luca!"

Lucario let out a low shout, and light blue aura emanated from its eye sockets, enveloping its body in a hazy blue phantom.

He fully utilized all the waveguide power in his body.

and so.

boom! !

Lucario stomped his foot on the ground and exerted force, instantly creating a sonic boom, accompanied by the sudden cracking of the ground where he was standing and rocks flying everywhere.

His figure transformed into a streak of white light, and in the blink of an eye, he had already erased the distance between them.

"Sylveon, imitate!"

Sylveon, who was initially a little flustered by Lucario's sudden attack, quickly calmed down after hearing Xia Yan's command.

"Buyi—!!"

A delicate shout.

A soft white light emanated from Sylveon's body.

He pushed off the ground with all four limbs and shot forward.

It "imitated" Lucario's "speed".

Since both Cynthia and Lucario chose to attack first, Xia Yan naturally couldn't just give in to their wishes so easily.

If you let a melee fighter get close to a ranged mage/support Pokémon like Sylveon, even if Xia Yan's tactics are brilliant, he can't stop Lucario's brute force.

but.

Since it's "imitation" of "Godspeed," Sylveon's use and mastery of this move is definitely not as good as Lucario's.

Furthermore, Sylveon's physical abilities are certainly inferior to Lucario's, so it seems only a matter of time before it is caught up.

of course.

This at least gave Xia Yan and Sylveon some time to react and prepare.

"substitute!"

Xia Yan said in a low voice.

Sylveon trembled slightly, as if a double image had appeared, before quickly returning to its original form, only stopping its "super speed" and remaining in place.

Bang! !

In the blink of an eye, Lucario's Power-Up Punch landed on Sylveon.

But the moment the fist landed, Lucario unconsciously frowned.

Sensing through its aura, it determined that the Sylveon in front of it was fake.

However, this did not prevent Lucario's "Power-Up Punch" from taking effect, causing its own momentum to rise significantly.

Cynthia's almond-shaped eyes flickered slightly.

"Lucario, Comet Punch."

Lucario clenched his fist, and the spikes on the back of his hand gleamed with a bright silver light, instantly enveloping his fist.

His focused and earnest eyes reflected the light he had wielded with all his might.

With a sharp, piercing sound, and carrying the force of a powerful punch.

It hit Sylveon.

boom! !

The "Sylveon" transformed into countless pink threads and disappeared from Lucario's sight.

But Sylveon's true form finally appeared in a corner on the sidelines.

Then, the cunning black light in Sylveon's eyes slowly faded.

trick!
