Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

The golden flames even caused the fire-breathing dragon to feel an unbearable burning pain.

But pain will only excite its belligerent nature even more.

Ash's face lit up with joy when he saw the Charizard take flight.

however.

What excited him even more was that after the Charizard took flight, the flames on its tail began to expand uncontrollably.

Fire!

"Charizard, let Teacher Xia Yan see our flames, Purgatory!"

Ash clenched his fists, his eyes seemingly burning with flames.

Roar!

As the fire-breathing dragon roared, it flapped its wings and spewed out a mouthful of flames.

In an instant, the entire arena seemed to transform into a scorching inferno, with the ever-rising heat waves and flames making even the fire moths feel the intense heat.

"A firefight? Volcano, heat blast!"

call--

Heatwaves against heatwaves, flames against flames.

Golden flames and crimson flames engaged in a fierce battle in the air!

The intense heat raised the temperature in the entire venue by more than one level!

In the competition.

Charizard once again swept towards Volcarona at an extremely fast speed.

It is stronger, but Volcano has more buffs.

It has better stamina, but the Volcano has a "life-giving flame" that continuously regenerates it.

"This move will decide the outcome! Charizard, Overheat!"

"When it comes to fire, we've never been afraid of anyone. We also use the Volcano, overheat!"

The flames at the end of Charizard's tail intensified once more, engulfing its entire body in a fiery baptism as it roared and pounced on Volcarona.

The black spots on the Volcano's wings burst forth with golden brilliance, and it did not hesitate to raise its most terrifying golden sun when facing the Charizard.

Mars collides with Earth!

Boom boom boom—!

!

The most terrifying flames suddenly exploded, and the league staff maintaining order on the sidelines had to step in to stop the splashing flames.

In the venue.

The entire stadium was melted by the terrifying heat, and the temperature dropped by more than one degree.

"A terrifying clash of flames! This is the most terrifying battle of flames in the entire competition! Who will emerge victorious?!"

The host wiped the sweat from his forehead, letting his wet clothes soak into his back, his enthusiasm completely ignited.

As the terrifying flames finally and slowly dissipated.

wow——

"Vulcanmoth and Charizard are both incapacitated!"

The two spirits lying on the ground presented each other with their most powerful flames, as well as to all the spectators.

"I thought Little Smart would win this time," Red exclaimed, clicking his tongue.

Qinglv squinted, "Xiaozhi's Charizard is definitely not weak among Pokémon of the same level, but Teacher Xia Yan's Volcarona is too strong. That golden flame... really does have some similarities to Ho-Oh's flame."

No wonder.

During the opening ceremony of the competition, the Volcarona would drool as it gazed at the Ho-Oh flame in the torch at the center of the arena.

Could it have actually eaten Ho-Oh's "Sacred Flame"?

Xia Yan and Xiao Zhi simultaneously recalled their Pokémon.

Ash has only one Pikachu left, while Xia Yan still has four Pokémon he hasn't summoned.

The situation in the battle seems to have become clear.

But Pikachu, who was with Ash, had his fighting spirit completely ignited after witnessing his friends' exhilarating battles.

"Pikachu! Pikachu!"

It lay on the ground, its eyes filled with anticipation as it called out to Ash.

And Xiao Zhi.

They are also the kind of people who will never give up until the very last moment.

He nodded emphatically and said, "Alright! In the very last moment, Pikachu, you're the one!"

"Pickup!"

Pikachu strode swiftly onto the field.

Seeing the seriousness in Pikachu's eyes, Xia Yan twitched the corner of his mouth.

Pikachu, are you not going to act anymore?

Without hesitation, he threw the Poké Ball in his hand.

"Go, Salamence!"

Xia Yan's third Pokémon, Salamence!

Roar--!

A ferocious and menacing roar echoed throughout the entire arena.

However, it did not pose any significant threat to Pikachu.

The final battle continues as both teams' Pokémon make their appearance!

Just as Xia Yan had predicted.

After resting for a while, Pikachu is now in top form.

"Pikachu, Quick Attack!"

Even though it was the last time, Ash still followed his most familiar battle style.

"Pikachu, Pikachu, Pikachu—"

Pikachu ran, leaving white zigzag trails in its wake, while constantly calling out.

This means that it is really serious.

Xia Yan was also prepared to face such a Pikachu.

His eyes narrowed, and he said in a chilling voice, "Salamander, Mega Evolution!"

wow——

Salamence evolved?!

From the stands, Cynthia looked at Daigo.

Daigo looked down and touched his nose. "Ahem, after the old man started collecting Mega Stones, he learned that Xia Yan had a Salamence, so to express his gratitude..."

Super-evolution already exists in this world, but it's not very widespread.

However, after the Hoenn disaster, Mega Rayquaza's eagerness for the legendary Pokémon to be revealed forced the Hoenn League to take this matter seriously.

Enveloped in dazzling super-evolutionary energy, Salamence's appearance underwent a significant change.

As the pair of even more crimson crescent-shaped wings flapped, the envelope of super-evolutionary energy dissipated.

First came the sun.

Now it's a blood moon hanging high in the sky again.

This match was definitely worth watching!

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"

However, Ash was not affected by Salamence's Mega Evolution and continued to launch his own offensive with unwavering determination.

"Pikachu—"

Pikachu stood upright and leaped into the air, its cheek sacs crackling with electricity that gradually covered its entire body.

"mound!

! ”

Bathed in dazzling lightning, Pikachu unleashed its Thunderbolt, striking the Mega Salamence in the air.

A dazzling current of electricity streaked through the air.

In terms of sheer power, the "Thunderbolt" attack Pikachu unleashed when it first appeared is nowhere near as powerful as the one it unleashed at this moment.

"roar--!

"

Mega Salamence was in a state of excitement as it unlocked Mega Evolution for the first time. Its eyes were sharp, and it roared as it faced the crackling electricity.

Loud noise!

After its Mega Evolution, Mega Salamence's ability changed from "Overconfidence" to "Flying Skin"!

All Normal-type moves used will be transformed into Flying-type moves, and their power will be increased.

At this moment, the Super Salamence can transform into a heavy melee fighter or a long-range turret.

boom!

The 100,000-volt electric current, along with the roaring sound waves, collided with the air, producing a violent boom and raising a large cloud of mist.

In the mist.
