Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

and so.

You can still learn something from occasionally playing against seemingly weak opponents.

"You did a fantastic job, Infernape!"

Xiao Zhi expressed it even more directly.

Those who didn't know him would have thought he had won the final.

"Both players, please summon your spirits again."

The referee had to speak up to remind them.

Xia Yan and Xiao Zhi across from him exchanged a glance and smiled at each other.

At the same time, throw out a Poké Ball.

"Xia Yan's third Pokémon is Volcarona! And Xiao Zhi's third Pokémon is Sceptile!" the host announced.

"Xiao Zhi's choice was predicted by Teacher Xia Yan," Qing Lü said, rubbing her chin.

“Attributes don’t represent everything,” Crimson added.

Upon hearing this, Qinglu glanced at him and nodded thoughtfully.

Also.

It's common for players with strong bonds to defeat enemies by going against their elemental attributes.

But the opponent is Teacher Xia Yan!

Xia Yan's eye twitched as he looked at the lizard king, its eyes sharp and piercing as it held a twig in its mouth.

have to.

Another spirit that consumes bonds.

"Battle begins!"

"Lizard King, Quick Attack!"

Ash's signature opening move involves using speed to close the gap between himself and his opponent, then using chaotic battles to bring the opponent to his level, and finally defeating the opponent with his rich "experience".

"Butterfly Dance".

Xia Yan was already familiar with and used to Ash's battle style.

The fire moth danced gracefully, its wings creating a series of illusions as it rapidly ascended into the air.

"It's a failure!"

"Teacher Xia Yan is too adept at dealing with Xiao Zhi's tactics." Qing Lü sighed.

"Dance of Fire!"

After creating distance from the Lizard King and taking off, Xia Yan didn't linger for a moment and quickly launched an attack.

The Lizard King is a fast-attack assassin, while the Volcano is a ranged mage. Even with its attribute advantage, being caught in close combat by the Lizard King will be difficult for the Volcano.

But assassins have one weakness.

That's crispy skin.

Easily targeted by kites.

Golden flame butterflies scattered and converged on the Lizard King at a considerable speed, enveloping it from all directions.

"Lizard King, Leaf Blade, cleave the flames!"

Xiao Zhi was not flustered.

The lizard king, with a twig in its mouth, half-closed its eyes and silently scanned its surroundings, searching for the weakest point of the approaching flames. At the same time, the leaves on its arms quickly extended and transformed into blades.

next second.

The Lizard King moved; it found the most vulnerable spot in the "Dance of Fire".

A sharp "leaf blade" slashed out!

however.

Xiao Zhi, who has repeatedly relied on unconventional methods to overcome difficulties, will pay the price this time for his lack of understanding.

"what?!"

Xiao Zhi's eyes widened.

Even the Lizard King's usually cold and aloof face showed shock.

Its "blade" cannot cleave through the golden flames of the fire moth!

And this result is to be expected.

Because the flame of the volcano is the flame of life!

"storm!"

Xia Yan didn't give them another chance and waved his arm.

Upon hearing this...

The Vulcan Moth's blue eyes fluttered, and its wings flapped once more. A roaring hurricane was generated between the flapping of its wings, transforming into a terrifying tornado that enveloped the Lizard King.

Flames and tornadoes merge in this moment!

The raging storm amplified the power of the flames, while the flames, in turn, fueled the storm's power.

"Lizard King!"

Ash let out a startled shout.

Amidst the raging crimson-gold storm, the Lizard King gritted his teeth, enduring the dual baptism of fire and storm.

"Chirp!"

"

Amidst the flames, the Lizard King cried out in agony.

"Hang in there, Lizard King!"

As Ash called out, Sceptile forced itself to calm down from its pain, and its body immediately glowed with a shimmering emerald green light.

Lush!

Suddenly.

Xiao Zhi had a flash of inspiration.

He hurriedly shouted, "Lizard King, Dragon Dance! Ride the storm, use the power of the wind, and fly!"

Upon hearing this...

The Lizard King's eyes flashed, and it suddenly opened its arms, the leaves on them transforming into "blades" to increase the area of force application. Its body danced like a dragon, and it actually rose up on the wind!

Good guy.

"Vulcan moth, insect chirp!"

Xia Yan's eyes twitched as he gave the order again.

hum-

An extremely piercing high-frequency sound wave baptism.

But the Lizard King, riding the storm, endured the constant pain, seemingly unmoved as if he had lost his hearing.

It has lost consciousness?

"Lizard King, a million-ton kick!"

Taking advantage of the speed boost from the storm, the Lizard King charged toward the Vulcan Moth in the air, its entire body covered in a dazzling white light.

boom!

!

The massive impact slammed the Volcano Moth heavily onto the ground.

boom!

Then the Lizard King fell from the sky onto the field.

After falling to the ground, the Volcano gritted its teeth, flapped its wings, and quickly flew up from the ground, looking solemnly at the Lizard King.

How could it still unleash such a powerful attack after such a baptism?

just.

When the Vulcan looked over, it paused for a moment.

"Lizard King, incapacitated!" the referee's voice rang out.

although.

The Sceptile collapsed quickly and couldn't sustain itself like Infernape.

But all the audience members still applauded.

It has demonstrated its resilience and perseverance.

Under the barrage of attacks from Volcarona, an ordinary Sceptile King would have been instantly killed long ago.

Being at a significant attribute disadvantage and unable to close the gap with its opponent, the outcome was essentially predetermined from the start.

When it broke through the storm and the baptism of fire, it was already persevering solely by willpower.

But the Lizard King, with its indomitable will, still managed to deliver a powerful kick to Volcano.

Commendable willpower!

"Thank you, Sceptile," Ash said sincerely as he recalled Sceptile.

He took a deep breath and looked at Xia Yan and Vulcan Moth.

The battle situation.

This puts him in a completely disadvantageous position.
