Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

Crimson: Did you hear that? Teacher Xia Yan is going to challenge the Sinnoh League.

Xiao Lan: What, do you want to give it a try too?

Blue: Anyway, as a gym leader, I no longer have the chance to challenge the League.

Yellow: Red-senpai, are you going to Sinnoh?

Little Silver: What will that bastard Akin choose at this point?

but.

Before heading to Sinnoh, Xia Yan should probably take a trip to Hoenn first.

The Rainbow Tournament doesn't seem to be over yet.

It's also worth getting to know Daigo, the champion.

Devon holds a very important position in any world.

Team Lava and Team Ocean are still alive, so perhaps we can learn some information about them from Crimson Pine and Water Archie.

and also.

It seems that a long time ago, the "Rayquaza Capture Project," led by the Pokémon Association and involving companies such as the Bellritz family, Devon Corporation, and Mauville Holdings, successfully captured Rayquaza inside the Burial Tower.

At that time, they were using a tool called a "flower".

at this point.

Xia Yan kept it in mind.

Chapter 108 Old man, do you need a son?

Are you kidding me?

On a certain stretch of sea, riding on Latios's back and gazing at the Hoenn region he was about to reach, Xia Yan shouted into the phone, slightly losing his composure.

"Bu-ee~~Bu-ee-bu-ee~~"

Seeing this, Sylveon quickly coiled her ribbon into the shape of a fan, stood at the other end of Latios, and fanned Xia Yan, signaling him not to act rashly.

Xia Yan realized his lapse in composure and waved to Sylveon to indicate that he was alright.

It was just a bit of a surprise.

On the other end of the phone.

Sachi's respectful voice rang out, and he made no comment despite Xia Yan's loss of composure, simply continuing:

"Leader, according to our Team Rocket spies in the Hoenn region, the Hoenn region is not peaceful right now. Team Magma and Team Aqua's Sedum and Archie have summoned Groudon and Kyogre."

Although the two ancient mythical beasts have temporarily disappeared.

But that doesn't mean they've been completely quelled.

Is the Hoenn disaster still not over?

"Then how did you get those three gems?" Xia Yan frowned.

The red and blue gemstones were probably polished after the vermilion and indigo gemstones were broken, right?

Then the Rockets took advantage of the chaos to get their hands on it.

"This was a deal between Chief Giovanni and Crimson Pine. He was the first to find the gem. Chief Giovanni didn't tell anyone the specifics of the deal. My job at the time was to seize the meteorites amidst the chaos, including... that emerald."

However, it is said that the two gems were originally found in meteorites and then polished, otherwise the Hoenn League would not have thought of imitating and creating another green gem.

Since it's a meteorite, there must be fragments, right?

Sachi did not hide anything from Xia Yan.

In other words...

Xia Yan gazed at the seemingly calm sea outside the Hoenn region.

One of his guesses was correct.

This world, which is based on characters from the special episode, does not follow the timeline of the special episode entirely.

Come to think of it.

Where is there a place where a major event happens first, then a few years later another major event happens in a different place, and then a few years later yet another major event happens in a different place?

If that's really the case.

Each region cannot fight its own battle.

Although some mythical beasts and magical beasts are difficult to deal with.

But if we can integrate all the power of the entire alliance, no, even just half of it, it won't be difficult to quell the unrest in a region.

Therefore, it would have been impossible for Steven to have fought Kyogre and Groudon for 22 days.

As a result, apart from Wallace and the Hoenn Elite Four, no other regional champions came to lend a hand.

It fought for 22 days against a flightless fish and a fathead fish, finally dying from exhaustion.

Xia Yan shuddered just thinking about it.

It is precisely because of the frequent occurrence of such major events that regional alliances have been forced to fight their own battles.

The Kanto and Johto regions are in a state of chaos because of Team Rocket and Masked Man.

The Hoenn region is in turmoil due to the resurgence of Groudon and Kyogre.

So, in the Sinnoh region... Team Galactic might be up to something?

Could major events be happening, or are brewing, in other regions as well?

Xia Yan couldn't help but take a deep breath.

"According to some information I collected while stealing the meteorites and gems, a few years ago, the Hoenn League, in conjunction with various companies, carried out a secret mission. They seem to have... successfully captured a certain Pokémon. The creation of the gems was also to control it."

That operation was naturally the "Rathalos Capture Project".

The special gem that the Hoenn League wants to forge is the "Grass Green Gem".

Xia Yan was well aware of this.

One of his purposes in going to Hoenn was to investigate in depth the weapon called "Flower" that had weakened Rayquaza.

This refers to the "∞ energy" remaining after the "ultimate weapon" of the Carlos region was used.

Xia Yan had a premonition.

The weapon "Flower" must be related to the small white flowers embroidered on the bodies of the people in his original world.

But the current Hoenn...

Should I go?

No wonder the Hoenn Rainbow Tournament had to be canceled.

All the Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, and even the Champions have all rushed off to deal with the awakening of Kyogre and Groudon. Who has the mind to hold a Rainbow Conference?

Although dangerous.

But Xia Yan also had to admit that this was an opportunity.

otherwise.

No matter how good your relationship with Daigo is, it's impossible for you to access such confidential documents. After all, it was an operation involving multiple parties, and the Hoenn League was the mastermind.

However, now is indeed a good opportunity.

If things don't look good, be prepared to retreat at any time.

Then he said to Sachi, "I understand the details. Continue to monitor the League's activities. Notify me immediately of any major events that occur in the Hoenn or Sinnoh regions."

"Yes, Chief."

End communication.

Xia Yan patted Latios and continued to approach the Hoenn region.

As the distance gets closer.

Xia Yan finally saw the devastation that the Hoenn region was in now.

The vast Hoenn region is almost divided in two by Mt. Chimney.

On one side was scorched earth, as if the land had been parched.

On the other side, there was a continuous downpour that seemed poised to completely submerge large areas.

"Why does it feel like... the Flying-in-the-Sky and the Fathead Fish in the special episode seem stronger? On the contrary, Rayquaza's prestige has been lowered a lot."

He shook his head to himself.

First, regardless of how the investigation is conducted, the specific situation in the Hoenn region at this time must be determined.

Have the flying fish and the fathead fish started fighting? How far have they gotten?

Or perhaps...

Daigo and those two have been fighting for days, but he hasn't managed to awaken Rayquaza yet.

These ones.

Everything needs to be confirmed.

Otherwise, acting blindly will only put you in a dangerous situation.

...

...

Kaina City.

The port, shipyard, and beaches of Kayna.

The once most beautiful and bustling beaches in the Hoenn region are now a scene of devastation.

but.

However, there are also all sorts of people who are managing and restoring the beach.
