Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

A beam of light shot straight up from the ground.

Seeing this, Xia Yan, who was standing next to her, squinted as she pressed her hat down. The chaotic wind made Cynthia's golden waterfall fly, but her eyes were fixed on the center of the collision, full of surprise.

The fact that a Farfetch'd could unleash such fighting power was somewhat beyond her expectations.

It must be admitted that...

Cynthia developed a strong interest in this green onion soldier.

The most excited one was undoubtedly Tokis.

Amidst the raging winds, Pokkis shouted with exhilaration.

"Cheap cheesy!! (Such tough scallions!)"

As the impact of the collision gradually subsided, Infernape slid backwards across the ground, leaving two scorched plow marks.

Onion Soldiers also staggered out, carrying a long onion with a blackened tip.

"Were you unaffected by the 'spell recovery animation'?"

Xia Yan was finally somewhat surprised.

This green onion soldier showed little sign of becoming sluggish or unable to move after using "Meteor Assault".

The "Meteor Assault" move is very powerful, and currently only Sirfetch'd can use it. However, like moves such as "Destruction Beam" and "Ultimate Impact", it has a severe "casting delay".

That is, after casting the spell, the body will be stiff for a certain period of time.

But it seems this scallion soldier has undergone special training, greatly shortening the time of its stun.

Simultaneously.

This Onion Soldier also demonstrated its impressive combat capabilities.

"Infernape, close combat!" Xia Yan, holding his hat, decided to check again to see if Sirfetch'd was truly unaffected.

Then I saw it.

Once it regained its footing, Infernape launched itself forward again, its fist swirling with ferocious energy and scorching flames.

In the blink of an eye, he appeared in front of Cong Youbing.

It turns out.

The Onion Soldier wasn't unaffected by the aftershock of "Meteor Strike," but it managed to break free from it to the greatest extent possible with its willpower.

Faced with the Infernape so close at hand, Sirfetch'd had no choice but to raise his shield and calm down.

A crimson tinge appeared in his eyes.

Double the amount back!

bang bang bang-

Fists rained down like bullets, but Cong Youbing gritted his teeth and persevered.

But with each heavy slam of his fist against the shield, the dark red fighting energy accumulated on Onion Shallot's body surged ever more powerfully.

Transforming the opponent's attack into one's own power, and then unleashing it all at once, is what is meant by "double the return."

however.

There is actually a very practical tactic to counter the "double payback" strategy.

When Infernape landed its final punch in close combat, the pristine white Farfetch'd was already tinged with dark red.

"Gah!"

With a roar of rage after enduring the attack, all the attacks it had endured erupted.

Xia Yan waved his hand.

"Infernape, we'll pay you back double!"

Then Infernape crossed its arms over its head, welcoming Sirfetch'd's "double payback".

This is the classic tactic.

Double the return!

Matryoshka doll tactic.

Bang! ! !

A terrifying force pressed down on Infernape's arm, the explosive power making it hard to breathe, and the intense pain stretched Infernape's will to the limit, like a string that could snap at any moment.

but.

Infernape blocked it!

Then.

Facing Sirfetch'd will be Infernape's "double payback" after it has already defended against "double payback"!

boom!!!

Farfetch'd stared wide-eyed, his face filled with disbelief as he was sent flying by the terrifying force emanating from Infernape.

One fruit tree after another was uncontrollably broken by it, and a tidal wave of pain instantly overwhelmed its consciousness.

The Infernape, now in position, shook its paws slightly.

This Onion Soldier's strength has already earned its recognition.

"This scallion... no, this scallion soldier is very strong."

Even Cynthia gave it extremely high praise.

Xia Yan knew her Infernape well; its strength was definitely no weaker than that of a top-tier Elite Four Pokémon.

For a wild Sirfetch'd to fight Infernape to this extent, it is clear that it is quite strong.

The fact that a wild Pokémon possesses such combat awareness and experience shows that it has gone through countless battles, both large and small.

"Gah!"

just.

Despite having lost the ability to fight, Onion Soldier, leaning on his longsword, staggered to his feet again from the bushes in the distance.

His eyes were half-closed, and he looked very tired, but his posture was ramrod straight.

The shield in his hand was already shattered.

But the raised hand still beckoned to Infernape.

This scene filled Infernape with awe.

"Such tenacious willpower," Xia Yan couldn't help but exclaim.

Since we are facing such an opponent, we must give him/her the utmost respect.

"Infernape".

Having understood Xia Yan's meaning, the Infernape nodded silently.

As the fist clenched again, the flames above his head rapidly rose, reaching a height of tens of meters, even piercing through the dense forest foliage.

He clenched his fist and threw a punch.

With a swing of his fist, all the flames gathered in his fist and slammed it hard into the ground.

In an instant.

A pillar of fire rapidly spread from the Infernape's fist across the ground, heading straight for the Shallot.

boom!!!

The moment the flames touched the Shallot, they shot up from the ground, and the intense pillar of fire, accompanied by a sky full of flames, instantly engulfed the Shallot.

Explosion and flames!

This is also Infernape's strongest Fire-type move right now.

Just like "Meteor Assault," "Explosive Flame" will deplete Infernape's flames after being used, causing it to become briefly stunned.

However, this move is also the main focus of Xia Yan's recent intensive training of Infernape.

Xia Yan plans to incorporate this move into Infernape's "Small Cliff Sword" and make it Infernape's last resort.

boom--

When the firelight faded and the flames disappeared.

Onion Soldiers fell straight to the ground, completely losing their ability to fight.

Around it, everything had been burned to ashes by the flames, reduced to charred nothingness.

After doing all that, Infernape felt a little weak.

Xia Yan quickly fed it some energy cubes.

He then approached the incapacitated Onion Soldier and gave it some basic treatment for its injuries.

Such an opponent is still worthy of respect.

"Gugu~~"

Cosmogu happily ate the pendant that Xia Yan had taken from Cong Youbing's neck.

Having regained its former energy, Cosmog appears fuller and more robust, and the starlight within the nebula shines even brighter.

The tiny stars within were exceptionally bright, emitting a faint halo, as if they were nurturing something.

After finishing his meal, Cosmogu let out a burp and snuggled back into Xia Yan's arms.

"Things are going much more smoothly than I expected," Xia Yan said slowly.

Cynthia nodded slightly.

Looking at the onion soldier on the ground, "What are you going to do with it?"

Xia Yan smiled and shook his head.

"This Sirfetch'd is very strong, but it has its own battle rhythm and habits, and its position clashes with Beedrill and Infernape..."

In addition, he still has so many elves to train.
