Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

“Dals said that the radicals might launch a large-scale probing attack….”

Lusamine's pretty face darkened.

"You're only telling me this now?!"

...

...

"Don't worry, Ono is not in danger for now; she's just missing. If there is danger, 'Infinite Crystal' will issue a warning. What we need to do is find her before the danger befalls her."

Xia Yan comforted Latios.

“Os…”

Latios nodded; it understood Xia Yan's meaning, but it was a little worried.

"Besides, even if Ono really does enter the Ultimate Space, there's no need to worry too much. Have you forgotten where we met Ono?"

Hearing this, Latios finally began to feel relieved.

Yes.

Ono lives alone in the extremely dangerous alternate dimension of Rayquaza. Facing powerful wild spirits, she not only handles them with ease, but also lives a pretty good life.

What she lacks is simply some basic knowledge and communication skills.

However, Xia Yan had already filled in all these gaps for Ono before he allowed her to travel on her own.

It was precisely because of her strong survival skills in the wild, which were even comparable to Xia Yan's, that Xia Yan felt at ease letting her go on her own trip.

If we say...

Ono was kidnapped, and Natsuhiko might still be worried.

However, if he only enters the ultimate space, given Ono's survival skills in the wild, he could probably live quite comfortably there.

Latios is letting his concern cloud his judgment.

soon.

Latios then carried Xia Yan to the research institute of Naruto and Oki on Melemele Island.

It has now become the research institute for Kukui and his childhood friend Banette.

Previously, the research institute served as the temporary headquarters of the UB countermeasures department, and the current UB countermeasures department is located next to the research institute.

"King Xia Yan, uh, Inspector, you've arrived?"

As soon as he landed, Xia Yan ran into his old colleague, a handsome guy, at the door.

"What are you doing?"

Xia Yan glanced around and found that many people from the UB countermeasures department were organizing their equipment, looking like they could be deployed at any moment.

Upon hearing this, the handsome man's expression turned serious, and he quickly replied:

"Dr. Barnett has discovered an extremely large-scale anomaly in Ultimate Energy on Bonney Island, which he suspects may be a large-scale uprising by Ultra Beasts. For safety reasons, we must arrive and establish a presence there as soon as possible, just in case."

"A large-scale anomaly in ultimate energy?" Xia Yan pursed his lips.

What a coincidence.

I encountered this situation as soon as I arrived.

"Where is Minister Lila?" Xia Yan asked.

"this......"

Upon hearing this question, the handsome man's eyes darted away, and he stammered.

Seeing his appearance, Xia Yan frowned.

"Something big has happened?"

The handsome man gritted his teeth, leaned closer to Xia Yan, and whispered, "Inspector Lila forbade me to say this, but not long ago... she entered the Ultimate Hole."

"Goodness."

Xia Yan cursed in annoyance.

He strode inside.

The handsome guy looked at Xia Yan's back and scratched the back of his head.

Although Inspector Lila is not very old, she is still Xia Yan's superior.

but......

It seems that Xia Yan's position in the league is now about the same as Lila's, right?

It might even be half a level higher?

Anyway, it's at least about the same.

However, in the entire UB countermeasures department, only Natsuhiko was able to oppose some of Lila's decisions.

Chapter Sixty-Four: I am, the Heavenly King!

Pony Island.

Sun and Moon Altar.

Amidst the endless yellow sand, an ancient altar has stood here for who knows how long.

And on this day...

In the midst of this overwhelming yellow sand, the presence of a military tent seems somewhat out of place.

in the tent.

Xia Yan looked speechlessly at Lila, who was sitting at the head of the temporary conference table, her face slightly pale.

However, Lila, the head of the UB countermeasures department, had a smile on her face.

"Don't complain. You're the vice president of the UB countermeasures department, after all, and you've been away for months. It's time for you to take responsibility," Lila said with a smile.

Xia Yan waved his hand.

"That's not what I meant. Of course I will take responsibility for what I should take."

As a vice minister with real power, it's really unreasonable for him to have shirked his responsibilities and not participate for so long.

Therefore, he felt somewhat embarrassed when facing Lila, or even the other ordinary members of the UB countermeasures department.

"What I wanted to say was..."

After a brief pause, Xia Yan continued, "You're the head of the UB countermeasures department, after all. If you're always so impulsive, what will happen to the members of the department if something unexpected really happens?"

"Isn't there still you?"

Lila, on the other hand, was quite unfazed.

Xia Yan was speechless for a moment.

In short.

In these few exchanges, Xia Yan was in the wrong because she had been missing for several months, and she couldn't win the argument with her.

“However, I wasn’t acting impulsively; it’s because I discovered something,” Lila added.

"Hmm?" Xia Yan raised an eyebrow.

Lila leaned over.

"I've noticed that there have been quite a few instances of figures appearing in the Ultimate Cave that has been opened. Last time, I was confident enough to go in and take a look."

in fact.

During the last "Island Tournament," Xia Yan had already seen someone trying to open the Ultimate Hole by controlling an Ultra Beast.

He kept quiet simply because he knew it was being operated by people inside the Ultimate Hole.

"What was discovered?"

“There are indeed people there.” Lila seemed slightly excited.

Xia Yan understood why she was so agitated.

Because Lila has always lacked memories of the period before the handsome man found her, she knows nothing about her own background.

The ultimate energy in the ultimate dimension will cause enormous damage to unprotected humans and will mark them.

Lila has always wanted to find out about her origins.

Of course, I also want to figure out what Ultra Beasts and Ultra Hole are all about.

“You don’t seem very surprised?” Lila looked at him.

Xia Yan shook his head. "No, there were some unexpected events, but it seems to be a reasonable explanation. After all, no one knows what the situation is inside the Ultimate Cave."

Lila nodded thoughtfully.

"Too."

Then he continued:

"However, it is also possible that my impulsive behavior last time alerted the humans inside the Ultimate Cave, which is why there was such a large-scale fluctuation of ultimate energy this time."

Of course, such a planned attack and probing also proves the existence of humans inside the Ultimate Cave.

"Very likely."

Xia Yan agreed with Lila's guess.

"Something's up."

While Barnett was hunched over her computer analyzing the area near the Sun and Moon Altar, she suddenly looked up and reminded her.

Xia Yan and Lila's communication ended there.

"I gonna go see."

After saying that, Xia Yan strode out.

"King Xia Yan."
