Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

“Red Lotus Island?!” Xia Yan’s eyes widened slightly.

"you know?"

"do not know."

Xia Yan categorically denied it.

Kikuko, unsuspecting, continued:

"The situation here at Baiyin Mountain is unstable, and no one knows exactly how bad it will get, so many people can't leave."

However, something significant also happened on Crimson Lotus Island, which some experts speculate is most likely due to the sea god Lugia.

"Didn't you have contact with Lugia? The Alliance wants you to find out more about the situation."

"us?"

Kikuko's gaze swept across the room, and she nodded, saying, "That's right, you also have Lance, Lorelei, Steven, and Cynthia, the five of you. Natsuhiko, you lead the team."

Xia Yan wanted to cry but had no tears.

Red Lotus Island?

He was a little unsure before, but now he is 100% sure.

The events on Cinnabar Island were definitely caused by the birth of Mewtwo.

Alakazam's unusual psychic abilities these past few days are also due to this.

Are we heading to Crimson Lotus Island now?

Are we going to go head-to-head with the Rockets?

These so-called experts are utter rubbish!

But then I thought about it again.

With Giovanni and the Rockets' abilities.

I bet they've already transferred their Fantasy Westward Journey accounts by now?

They should have already been settled in Tokiwa City.

Moreover, the alliance's request was merely to conduct an investigation, without specifying what they were to do.

The investigation task is actually quite easy to handle.

It's probably to let them clean up the mess, appease the residents of Crimson Lotus Island, and suppress the wild elves in the surrounding area.

just.

He has connections with Lugia, so his going there is understandable.

The others...

Seeing Kikuko's expression, Natsuhiko seemed to realize something.

Understood.

The road paving has begun.

After the Masters tournament ends, are you going to arrange for these guys to challenge the Four Heavenly Kings?

Establish achievements in advance.

Xia Yan had to admit it.

With the backing of powerful forces, these guys not only have to improve their own strength, but the step-by-step support and paving the way by their families and other forces also make things very comfortable.

"Teacher, cough, well... Lugia isn't easy to get along with..." Xia Yan said with an awkward smile.

Kikuko glanced at him sideways.

"Isn't that guy in your shadow coming to find you because of this?"

Upon hearing this, Xia Yan's expression froze.

Darkrai peeked out slightly.

He looked at Kikuko with some surprise.

Kikuko may not know much about other things, but when it comes to the four-dimensional space of shadows, there are few in the entire league who are more powerful than her.

Then Kikuko leaned down slightly, and with the help of Gengar's power, her voice rang in Xia Yan's mind.

"This incident at Baiyin Mountain could have been orchestrated by the Rockets, or it could have been caused by some people within the league."

"The five of you here are attracting too much attention. Get out of here quickly and draw some attention away; I'll see if I can find anything out about them."

Xia Yan's pupils contracted, and he looked at Kikuko with some surprise.

So, is Kikuko's current state also a facade?

No wonder he's such a cunning old fox.

"Teacher, can you handle this?" Xia Yan asked back.

Kikuko sat up straight.

“It might not have worked before, but now, well…besides, Uncle Liu is here too.”

Xia Yan suddenly realized.

Great, that's wonderful!

The two ended their telepathic communication.

Xia Yan smacked his lips and whispered, "Then, teacher, what about the reward for this mission..."

Kikuko stood up.

He walked towards the door.

"I knew you were the type; I managed to get this for you guys. Along with the rewards from this Masters Tournament, each of you will receive one item from the Alliance's secret vault."

Then he added to Xia Yan, "Two for you."

after all.

They were at least in the semifinals of the Masters tournament.

The Grand Alliance's secret vault?!

The people in the room exchanged glances, and they all saw surprise and delight in each other's eyes.

The things inside can't be bought with money.

It is the foundation that the alliance has accumulated over so long, encompassing so many regions.

This is considered an upgrade as a reward for their Masters Tournament performance.

Originally, the Masters Tournament was organized by the Kanto Alliance, and the rewards were also provided by the Kanto Alliance. Now that the tournament is being organized by the Allied Alliance, the rewards have been upgraded.

This also illustrates the point.

Their mission this time was assigned by the General Alliance in conjunction with the regional alliances.

Chapter Forty-Eight: The Crimson Lotus Island Catastrophe

Heading south from Mount Shirogane, you will reach Crimson Lotus Island.

just.

However, Xia Yan and his group had to stop their operations in the waters just before reaching Crimson Lotus Island.

Sitting on Latios's back, holding the "Philosopher's Stone" given to him by Kikuko, Natsuhiko slowly opened his eyes. His face was still a little pale, but his spirits had improved a lot.

The Philosopher's Stone contains mostly techniques for using superpowers, but it also incidentally enhances Xia Yan's superpowers to some extent.

Although the League is not very old, the tradition of superpowered individuals in the Pokémon world has a long history.

Various techniques and methods for using superpowers have also become more sophisticated.

People like Xia Yan, who are self-taught, lack the skills in this area the most.

Fortunately.

After chewing on the two precious "philosopher's stones".

This did make up for his lack of expertise in this area.

but.

When he awoke from his meditation and saw the scene before him, he couldn't help but pause for a moment in surprise.

Red Lotus Island.

It is an island located at the southernmost part of the Kanto region, and its area is not small.

The island is circular in shape and covered with many ancient trees, which resemble unfolding petals. Combined with the active volcano in the center of the island, it is known as "Red Lotus".

Its main function is to serve as a coastal resort island in the southern part of the Kanto region. You can quickly enter the Orange Islands area by taking a boat from Guren Island.

But on Crimson Island, there is actually a fairly large dojo, the Crimson Dojo.

The master of the Crimson Lotus Dojo is named Xia Bo.

He is not only a very powerful Fire-type Pokémon trainer, but also a well-known Pokémon researcher whose research focuses on Pokémon fossils.

However, Xia Yan also knew that Xia Bo had another identity.

That is one of the Rockets' top executives, and also one of the main people in charge of the Rockets' most important project recently, "Project Dream".

Some of Chaper's research findings not only had the support of the league, but also the shadow of the Rockets.

However, this identity is not known to anyone.

After the unrest on Cinnabar Island, Blaine, the leader of the Cinnabar Gym, went missing.

This is one of the reasons why Xia Yan and his group were sent by the Alliance to investigate the situation on Crimson Lotus Island.

just.

What appears before everyone now is nothing like a seaside resort island.

The towering volcano continued to spew flames, and the falling lava caused widespread forest fires. The constantly billowing black smoke painted the entire sky dark and gloomy, as if it might collapse at any moment.
