Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

It was originally intended by Cynthia to restrain Draco.

Cynthia hadn't expected this.

It was Xia Yan's Alakazam that brought about changes to the entire team and strategy after Mega Evolution.

This is a completely different feeling from what Beedrill's Mega Evolution previously presented.

But I have to admit.

Mega Alakazam has brought about a huge change to the entire team.

Xia Yan's overall team composition is much smoother, making the Pokémon in the system feel much more comfortable.

But for Cynthia's elves...

The rhythmic pressure was suffocating.

Is this the real 'switch-everything' defense?

Three Pokémon were lost.

But that didn't make the stubborn Cynthia give up.

She gritted her teeth and raised her right hand.

"Cynthia!"

Seeing Cynthia's actions, Xia Yan quickly spoke up.

This crazy woman.

Mega Evolution and Z-Moves.

Is it something her body can handle?

Do you really think she has that abnormal constitution?

As he spoke, Xia Yan raised his right hand as a gesture.

On his wrist, a pink "Super Z" logo was embedded in the "Z bracelet".

Tell her.

Even if he uses Z-Move, he has a countermeasure; don't go crazy.

Fortunately.

His response was a smile as bright as a blooming flower.

"Okay, I give up."

Cynthia smiled and said softly.

He seemed quite at ease.

Unlike Watari and Daigo, she didn't have such a strong desire to defeat Natsuhiko.

Rather than saying she wanted to defeat Xia Yan.

Rather, she wanted to see how big the gap was between her and Xia Yan now.

Xia Yan, who possesses Dorambaruto, knows she can't win.

Having witnessed the battle between Daigo and Wataru, she was certain that she and the two were evenly matched.

But she really wanted to try it.

and so.

Regillechi was chosen to limit Draco Baruto.

A 5v5 all-player battle mode against Xia Yan.

Therefore, it doesn't matter whether Xia Yan is informed before the match or not.

Even if they tell them, the plan will still proceed as scheduled once the battle begins.

after all.

Reggie Ellery and she didn't have enough chemistry yet.

It is also different from Daigo's Seadra.

Heatran and Daigo's systems are well-suited, and even if they don't mesh well enough, they can still be used, even if their performance isn't particularly outstanding.

Therefore, the moment Regillechi was defeated and Dramberto was released, the battle was already over.

perhaps.

She can still make one last desperate attempt by unleashing a Z-Move with Mega Garchomp.

I wouldn't say it's a complete comeback.

But at least it can replace some of Xia Yan's Pokémon.

She still has that much confidence.

But there's really no need to go that far.

Xia Yan also had a way to deal with it.

Using Mega Evolution plus Z-Moves would benefit none of them.

Let Xia Yan rest up and move on to the next round.

The subsequent semi-finals.

None of them are easy to deal with.

and so.

Cynthia gracefully chose to end it.

The referee confirmed the information several times before announcing:

"Since Cynthia has chosen to forfeit, the winner is... Xia Yan!"

Wow!!

The audience still cheered enthusiastically.

Although we didn't see the intense head-on clash between Mega Evolution Pokémon, Xia Yan and Cynthia still managed to deliver a thrilling performance.

As for admitting defeat...

This is actually quite common in Masters tournaments.

Just like Qianli before, he chose to admit defeat.

Because this is a team battle, a 6v6 mode.

Losing a single Pokémon means a loss in the team composition, which puts them at a significant disadvantage.

In a 5v6 situation, winning against overwhelming odds is no easy feat.

Everyone here is a top-notch trainer; they wouldn't make such a mistake.

When two Pokémon are lost, the battle is basically over.

All-player battles are the type of competition where the number of Pokémon on each side is most likely to differ.

This is different from the 6v6 rotating match.

If one or two Pokémon are lost in a battle, the coordination between Pokémon will be weakened, making it too easy for the team to exploit weaknesses and defeat them one by one.

and so.

After the three Pokémon lost their ability to battle, Cynthia chose to stop, which, in the eyes of the audience, was the most normal ending.

And this match.

What is presented to the audience is the suffocating sense of pressure brought about by Xia Yan's fighting rhythm.

If the battle against Daigo showcased Xia Yan's raw strength, and the battle against Lance demonstrated the potential of Xia Yan's strategy, then the battle against Cynthia showcased his rhythm.

But in the previous matches, the most outstanding performance was undoubtedly Xia Yan's Super Beedrill.

This time, however, it was a diverse display of talent, with the Mega Alakazam bringing out the best in every Pokémon.

The two put away the elf.

Under the spotlight, I walked to the center of the venue.

They smiled and shook hands.

Cynthia said not to release water, but Xia Yan did not.

Xia Yan said to stop, and Shirona stopped too.

As two of the Sinnoh's Elite Four, they have a pretty good understanding of each other.

"The rhythm is suffocating."

Cynthia praised it.

Compared to Du being disgusted by Xia Yan's "hat trick," she felt lucky.

At least, they were all defeated head-on.

Xia Yan scratched the back of his head.

"If your Regilleki could also be integrated into the system, perhaps the outcome of the battle would be different."

Cynthia smiled and shook her head.

The result is the same.

She knew.

Even if Reggie Elegy can integrate into her lineup, Xia Yan's Doron Balto will be released.

At that time.

However, it turned into a battle between Mega Garchomp and Dragapult, and between Regie and Mega Beedrill.

But in terms of system, Xia Yan is undoubtedly much stronger.

"Here, take this."
