Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

"Os?"

Latios only spoke after Xia Yan had completely fooled Moltres.

Xia Yan patted its neck and bent down.

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing, and I've prepared a backup plan."

Latios was relieved to hear this.

It folded its wings and, like a jet engine, soared straight out.

It left a pure white trail of clouds in the sky.

...

...

An island on the vast ocean.

Inside a cave.

Several people dressed in black cloaks stopped in front of the ancient altar.

"This place has been occupied. When is the time you said you would arrive?" one of the men asked in a hoarse, deep voice.

"almost."

The voice that answered him was a woman's, carrying a sense of ease and certainty.

An aged voice, hunched over in black robes, slowly drifted out, "I never imagined that a divine beast would be in this state."

"Tch—They're just three divine birds. They're one of the few divine beasts that have a clan, but only those three truly hold the divine titles of 'God of Fire,' 'God of Thunder,' and 'God of Ice.'" someone sneered.

The hunched, black-robed man wasn't angry. "I just never imagined that their divine authority came about in this way."

The woman who had spoken so casually before chuckled again.

"Everyone is qualified for a divine position, so why can't it be my Zapdos?"

"Then what are you waiting for?" the person leaning against the wall asked.

"Waiting for one..."

It seemed as if one could sense her blinking eyes beneath the black robe.

"competitor."

Chapter 256 The Crouching Dragon and the Young Phoenix Cannot Be Acquired Alone

"Is this the place?"

A figure slowly emerged from the sea.

As they approached their destination, Xia Yan decided against flying directly there, as it would be too conspicuous.

So he chose to approach from underwater and then come ashore.

What catches the eye.

It is a vast and lush forest. Compared to the forests outside, the plants here are not only more abundant, but there are also many more primitive trees.

Obviously.

This is an undeveloped island.

It may not even have been an island that others could approach at will before.

After all, based on the map that the Firebird had drawn for Xia Yan, and comparing it with the Alliance's sea chart, he was unaware that an island existed there...

If we say...

The legendary firebird, and even the entire firebird clan, inhabits this island, so it's understandable that no one can get close.

"But I seem to remember that the three islands of the Three Divine Birds should be near Asia Island in the Orange Islands, right? That's their territory, and that's where they have the means to summon Lugia," Xia Yan muttered to himself.

With the superpowers removed, many of the water stains also came off.

I took out my phone and glanced at it.

There is absolutely no signal here.

This further confirmed his conjecture.

"No signal is a good thing, I can hide in the shadows better."

Xia Yan pondered to himself.

He walked out of the beach, but instead of heading straight into the depths of the forest, he sat under a tree and pondered what to do next.

Professor Oak told him to find some help.

But sometimes, the more people involved, the more difficult it is to handle these kinds of situations.

Furthermore, if the enemy is indeed the Hunter's Guild, then he can also manipulate the situation by deciding what identity to adopt when facing them.

Xia Yan pondered his situation and analyzed the circumstances.

"First of all, it's 90% certain that the Hunter Guild is behind it, and it can even be pinpointed to Miss T Tom Ruoqi."

"Secondly, Moltres's attitude, as well as the attitude of Articuno that we encountered in Mt. Coronet, shows that Beedrill, the 'Chosen One' they refer to, is one of their own. So I'm not without any allies; the three legendary birds are all allies."

"Furthermore, Team Rocket won't get involved; they won't help me or Tom Ruchi. Judging from Giovanni's reaction and Team Rocket's reaction, Mewtwo is about to be born, and all their attention is on Mewtwo. Otherwise, Bishas wouldn't dare to be so bold. Perhaps one of Giovanni's purposes in giving me 'Silver Feather' was to use me to disrupt things."

"Finally, I remember the reason why Moltres became so agitated and dazed: the Dark Spheres and Dark Energy used by Bishas had the same effect. So, the researcher who created the original Mewtwo was connected to Tom Rukki?"

Bishas is dead, but the researcher he released is missing.

"Perhaps Bishkek's bold move against Dream was intended to attract the attention of the Rockets and the league, but we inadvertently ruined it."

He casually picked up a twig from the side.

Several points were written on the ground.

First, determine what a "Chosen One" is, figure out the secrets of Beedrill, and judge whether it is profitable based on the situation.

Second, determine what the Hunter's Guild wants to do, and then act accordingly based on your capabilities, whether to sabotage or obstruct it.

Third, determine the origins of the three legendary birds. Moltres said Articuno was definitely not in Mt. Coronet, and there must be a reason for its certainty.

Fourth, the second and third points may point to the same goal.

Fifth, Tom Rukki has a Zapdos.

I glanced at it from top to bottom.

Xia Yan quickly identified the key to it.

What are the three divine birds' clan trying to do?

"Therefore, while we are still in the shadows, we should gather information as quickly as possible and obtain more intelligence. Ideally, we should encounter one of the three divine birds."

Moltres has lost its memory.

But Xia Yan didn't think the other three divine birds were like that.

"Then let's start by finding the other three divine birds."

Xia Yan clarified his goal.

He stood up and dusted himself off.

Throw out a Poké Ball to summon a Pokémon.

This forest looks extraordinary; the wild elves inside are probably quite powerful. We should make the most basic preparations.

I looked up at the sky.

Thin, dark clouds gradually spread and enveloped the area.

"Walk."

He greeted them.

Its figure slowly disappeared into the lush vegetation.

"Pokkis, the Apollo missile."

Bang——! !

As the azure wave missile collided with the object, a fiery monkey fell to the ground.

Immediately afterwards, Infernape and Latios stepped forward.

One relied on strength, and the other on superpowers, to restrain the struggling Inferno Monkey.

However, it was badly injured, and the more it struggled, the more it hurt, so the strength of its struggles decreased.

"The Shielded Sword Monster".

Aegislash understood, and separated a shadow from Xia Yan's shadow, which then disappeared into Infernape's shadow.

Two purple ribbons emerged from the shadows and wrapped around Infernape's arms.

all of a sudden.

Infernape looked somewhat dazed, and stopped resisting.

At this point, Xia Yancai used his superpowers to contact it via telepathy.

"Where are the Infernape, Moltres, Zapdos, or Articuno?" Xia Yan asked in a deep voice.

But it was met with a bewildered look from the fiery monkey.

"Buyi!!"

Sylveon puffed out its cheeks and angrily strode towards Prisma.

However, Xia Yan stopped him.

"Never mind, it probably doesn't know."

Having been misled by Aegislash's abilities and in poor condition, Primeape was unable to lie or hide anything from Xia Yan.

This wasn't the first time he had asked about wild elves.

However, Xia Yan was not satisfied with the result.
