Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

A lifeless Weavile, surrounded by wisps of black mist.

Even though the rank hasn't been officially conferred yet, his words carry significant weight.

"And this one too."

Xia Yan's face turned very gloomy as he looked at the Weavile.

"This energy emanated from its body, and since there was no damage on its exterior, it indicates that the death did not originate from the outside, but rather from within."

It solidifies but doesn't seem to possess any corrosive properties. 1

"It is filled with the same energy as the inside of this Poké Ball, but dozens of times more concentrated."

Daigo understood why Natsuhiko's expression was so bad, and he gritted his teeth and squeezed out a sentence.

This completely treats elves as tools that can be used or discarded at any time.

If I'm not mistaken, its internal organs have already begun to be corroded by this energy.

"Trying this to an elf!"

"what?"

Xiaochun looked at Du with a puzzled expression. He had already analyzed it so thoroughly, what was there that Du didn't know?

After Wataru and Natsuhiko each offered their interpretation and analysis of the scene, the people present gradually understood what had just happened.

"Actually, there's something else I'm curious about," Watari suddenly said.

"Is it the Pokémon they captured?"

"Yes!" Lance said indignantly, "With Weavile infused with special energy and its already considerable strength, I'm very curious about what Pokémon Team Rocket is trying to catch."

Du didn't speak, but just glanced at Xia Yan.

Xia Yan sighed silently.

Is it a dream?

Xia Yan already had more or less the answer.

All eyes were on Xia Yan.

Xia Yan, however, placed a hand on Alakazam's head to comfort him, while looking at Lucario, who was already standing on the roof of a building, gazing at the distant mountains.

Second.

The Rockets' research on the Mewtwo gene should be nearing its conclusion.

He was just strange.

Although Giovanni is very passionate about Mew, he would never treat Pokémon as something to be discarded at will. While Giovanni may seem cold, he is actually very fond of his Pokémon. 5

Moreover, the Rockets have been relatively quiet lately, so there's no reason for them to be involved in something the league is paying close attention to.

But the identities of the Rockets players cannot be faked.

Given Giovanni's personality, even though Mew is strong, he would definitely care more about Mewtwo, which is hailed as "far superior to Mew".

For him, once Mewtwo is created, it doesn't matter whether Mew catches it or not.

At this crucial moment when Mewtwo is about to be born, did Giovanni still make a move against Mew?

It seems that this is the only possible outcome.

Because Watari even recognized one of them.

so......

"Keep your voice down!"

Xia Yan glared at him, annoyed.

Xia Yan took a slight breath. "It's a dream."

"A dreamlike vision?!" Wataru exclaimed in surprise.

But he still turned to the guests who followed behind and said:

"I apologize to everyone for what happened. Our city of Orudron will definitely give you a satisfactory answer. But for now, please go back and rest. My guards will protect your safety."

Then he looked at Queen Irene.

Eileen's expression became somewhat complicated after Xia Yan uttered the name "Dream".

After the crowd dispersed, Queen Eileen looked at Xia Yan with weariness in her eyes, "Mr. Xia Yan."

Xia Yan nodded.

Bang! Bang!

The heavily armored guards, led by their captain Beers, dispersed the crowd or escorted them to the hotel.

"Mew has the ability to change its appearance at will. The Ho-Oh we saw today is actually Mew."

After he said that, everyone looked thoughtful.

Then he slowly explained:

"The Tree of Origin and Dream are one, or it is not unreasonable to say that Dream is the Tree of Origin and the Tree of Origin is Dream."

“Then the dream is now…” Xiaochun couldn’t help but ask.

Xia Yan shook his head. "It failed."

after all.

The Rockets' pursuit of the Dream Team was no secret to Wataru and his teammates.

If the Rockets actually capture Dream, nobody knows what they'll do with him.

But Xia Yan could only manage a helpless twitch at the corner of his mouth.

Upon hearing this, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

It's okay to fail.

"With the Tree of Origin there, Dream will recover quickly from its injuries," Queen Irene said, relieved.

"Different."

"Although Mew wasn't captured, I estimate it was seriously injured."

You mean?

He stepped forward.

Although Xia Yan didn't want to discourage her, he still said:

“This time it’s different,” Lucario said. “It sensed a very powerful aura, and that aura was filled with intense malice.”

A chill ran through everyone.

"It's terrible, Lady Eileen!"

"It's just a guess, but I suspect that Mew is very likely infected by the same energy as Weavile."

The thought of Manneken Pis's death...

So the group went to the rooftop balcony of the castle.

The deep blue crystal that Daigo admired yesterday has now changed.

A guard rushed over.

"Crystal, crystal, it..."

"The World Tree!"

Queen Eileen's expression changed instantly.

Wisps of black energy spread upwards from the center of the crystal, like the veins of a leaf, spreading outwards.

Furthermore, the black aura seemed to be growing even stronger.

His expression grew increasingly grave.

After a long while, its voice rang in Xia Yan's mind again.

Lucario stepped onto the balcony railing, gazing at the World Tree shrouded in mist in the distance.

With eyes closed.

"really."

Xia Yan shook his head inwardly.

"It's angry."

It's unclear whether what they're referring to is the Tree of Origin or the Dream.

It starts in the evening.

Or perhaps it's true that Alakazam's emotions started to become somewhat abnormal after Mew was attacked.

"Mew was indeed infected by Team Rocket's energy, and the Tree of Beginning, which is one with Mew, was also affected as a result."

He glanced at Hudi beside him again.

Those hopeful eyes looked at Xia Yan.

"The crystal that can conduct waveguides is also slowly emitting a waveguide filled with malice. If it is not stopped, not only the elves in the Tree of Beginning, but all the elves in these mountains will be affected by the power of the waveguide and become irritable."

It just stared blankly at the Tree of Origin in the distance, lost in thought.

“If the Tree of Origin is destroyed, all the elves living in it will be affected, and even the entire continent and the whole world will be affected,” Queen Irene said.

Dreams can also use this to radiate waveguide power.

A thousand years ago, after absorbing Aaron's Aura, Dream used these crystals to spread Aura filled with goodwill and soothing, which calmed the outbreak of war.

Lucario pointed at the crystal and said to Xia Yan.

Such crystals are almost ubiquitous in the mountains surrounding the Tree of Origin.

Because the Tree of Origin is located deep in the mountains, the number of wild spirits in the surrounding mountains is quite large.
