Bottom-tier trainers in the Pokémon world

With a bloodcurdling scream, the Sand King fell to the ground, losing its ability to fight.

But this shout seemed to be a command, and the panicked pangolins around them all ran away, digging holes to escape.

However, their reckless behavior has brought about extremely negative changes.

Rumbling--

The ground suddenly cracked, and thick cracks burst forth.

Xia Yan's expression suddenly changed, and he shouted to Daigo and Cynthia, "Watch out! This place is going to collapse!"

Chapter Thirty-Seven: Rapid Rescue

Rumbling--

With a tremendous roar and the ground constantly cracking, the second level of the entire ruins began to shake violently.

When Xia Yan first entered the ruins and saw the swarms of pangolins, he considered the possibility of this situation and even reminded Cynthia about it.

In fact, the Alliance should send people to maintain these ancient ruins.

Even for ruins that have already been excavated, there will definitely be people stationed there.

It serves both to protect trainers who venture into the area and to safeguard the historical treasures of ancient ruins.

However, due to the unrest caused by wild Pokémon around Goldenrod City during this period, the League had no choice but to recall the people stationed at the ruins.

The presence of such a sizable group of pangolins here might destabilize some structures within the ruins.

Pangolins are different from ground squirrels.

Groundhogs will fill in their burrows, but pangolins obviously won't.

The large hole that had just appeared in front of them had already given Xia Yan a bad feeling.

With the three pangolins defeated one after another, the panicked pangolin rats dug holes everywhere, becoming the last straw that broke the yak's back.

Sensing something amiss, the giant bee immediately flew towards Xia Yan.

A building can collapse in an instant, and Casey was so frightened that she clung tightly to Xia Yan's pants.

Lacking sufficient experience, it showed signs of panic at this moment.

Suddenly, the ground beneath Xia Yan's feet trembled violently, and he lost control of his body, falling downwards along with the collapsing rocks.

"Hiss!"

The giant bee cried out in alarm, dodging the falling rocks from above while chasing after Xia Yan as he descended.

"Casey!"

Xia Yan couldn't help but feel flustered.

But the more panicked you are at this time, the worse things are likely to get.

With rocks collapsing and falling continuously from above, summoning Pidgey at this time might not only fail to provide assistance but could also create more chaos.

"Ugh... *sigh*..."

Upon hearing Xia Yan's voice, Casey trembled and slowly opened her eyes, which had been tightly closed in fear.

"Casey, don't panic, listen to me, teleport!"

Casey trembled, her fear slowly being infected by Xia Yan's calm voice.

Superpowers kept emerging, slowly enveloping it and Xia Yan.

"Hiss!"

Suddenly, Xia Yan heard the sound of a Beedrill, and saw it dodging falling rocks and chasing after him as he fell.

Casey's teleportation was also interrupted by Beedrill's cry, causing her to pause briefly.

If it leaves with Xia Yan now, what will happen to Beedrill?

However, before it could hesitate, Xia Yan's voice reached its ears.

"Superpowers enveloped us, and we floated up."

"Kashi!"

Casey's light blue eyes were instantly filled with a rich azure blue, instantly enveloping Xia Yan, and the downward trend was obviously relieved.

However, while their descent stopped, the rocks falling from above showed no sign of stopping.

A rock the size of five people came hurtling towards them.

"Kashi!!"

Having overcome her initial fears, Casey also achieved rapid spiritual growth in such a short period of time.

Raising his hand, a deep blue superpower barrier appeared above Xia Yan's head, attempting to withstand the falling rock.

Xia Yan knew that with Casey's current abilities, he might be able to withstand one, but he definitely couldn't withstand a second.

A decision was made in an instant.

"Casey, abandon hovering, let's go down!"

"Ke Xi?"

A hint of doubt flashed in Casey's eyes, but she did as Xia Yan instructed. They descended again, but the huge rock was getting closer and closer to them, though not as fast.

There was no other way; Casey could only unleash her superpowers as much as possible.

Just then.

"Hiss!"

boom!!

A roar, accompanied by a golden figure piercing through.

It's a Beedrill!

Sensing Xia Yan's danger, and with the effects of the Deadly Sting still lingering, it withstood several smaller falling rocks before appearing on a large rock above Xia Yan's head and forcefully splitting it into pieces with a single cross-cut attack.

"Kashi!!"

A look of surprise appeared in Casey's eyes; she had never longed to see Beedrill so much.

The large rocks were shattered, but Casey could still withstand the smaller ones.

bang bang bang-

Rocks of varying sizes rained down on Casey's superpower barrier, causing it to tremble briefly with each one, as if it were about to break under the strain.

But Casey persevered.

This finally gave Beedrill the opportunity to get close to Natsuhiko.

With a series of flaps of its wings, it caught up with Xia Yan and Casey as they fell.

"Hiss!"

Beedrill called out to Xia Yan with a hint of guilt, blaming itself for not appearing by Xia Yan's side in time.

But it was indeed because the change came so suddenly, and the constant falling rocks from above greatly hindered its ability to move.

Xia Yan loosened his grip on the Poké Ball at his waist.

He had already prepared for the worst and was ready to summon Pidgey at any time to see if he could find a way out.

But now that Beedrill has arrived, there's no need for Pidgeotto to fight off the densely packed falling rocks.

"Casey, slow down our descent."

Casey kept her mouth shut and didn't say anything, but a thin layer of superpower appeared under Xia Yan and her feet.

It was already exhausted; the sudden burst of superpowers had taken a heavy toll on it.

The speed of the descent was significantly reduced.

"Beedrill, smash the nearby rocks."

"Hiss!"

Beedrill nodded and appeared above Xia Yan's head.

It's responsible for breaking large rocks, while Casey's superpower barrier avoids smaller rocks.

The scale and depth of the ruins far exceeded Xia Yan's imagination. He estimated that he had been falling for at least ten seconds, yet he still hadn't reached the bottom.

Of course, this was also because Casey used his superpowers multiple times to slow his descent.

Suddenly.

In the pitch-black space, Xia Yan vaguely saw an even darker and deeper place, which appeared on the cliff not far away.

"Beedrill, let's go there!"

The giant bee instantly understood and landed close to Xia Yan.

Xia Yan didn't hesitate. He grabbed one of Beedrill's legs with one hand and held Casey tightly with the other, who seemed to be running out of psychic powers.

This tiny creature unleashed all its superpowers to protect Xia Yan.

Fortunately, it can still barely maintain its consciousness; otherwise, given Beedrill's abilities and size, it wouldn't be able to carry them at all.

After dodging several falling rocks of varying sizes, Beedrill finally dragged Xia Yan and Casey to the dark spot he had mentioned.

It's a cave!

boom--

After several struggles, the Beedrill finally dragged Xia Yan and Casey into the cave.

Finally, Xia Yan touched the ground again and let out a long breath.

The bee lay on the ground nearby, panting heavily.

"Kashi..."

Casey swayed unsteadily, and after confirming that she was temporarily safe, she fell into Xia Yan's arms, her even breathing soon returning to normal.

"You've worked hard, Casey. Take a good rest." Xia Yan took out a Poké Ball and put Casey away.
