Behind the eight-legged horsemon followed a human child, with a bird-shaped Digimon dressed in ninja attire beside him. This was Ikuto Noguchi, the child lost in the Digital World and adopted by Yetimon from the original story. Beside him was his partner, Nighthawkmon.

The eight-legged horse-beast led the child to Emu and the others, asking curiously, "Eight-legged horse-beast, where did you bring another human child from?"

To be honest, without knowing that Gyromon was the evolution of Kusanagimon, Dai was not very familiar with either Gyromon or Gallantmon, but he acted as if he had known an old friend for many years and asked questions very naturally.

Shu Nai tugged at Da's sleeve and said, "Da, don't be rude!"

In this world, Ikuto Noguchi's adoptive mother, Yukimon, still tragically dies. However, the culprit, Kurata, has already been executed and is being tortured by Digimon led by Mercurymon, thus preventing Mercurymon's death.

Furthermore, the truth being revealed ahead of time prevented Noguchi Ikuto's hatred from spreading to all of humanity, instead focusing it on Kurata. He was still grateful to the humans who helped defeat Kurata.

That's why he agreed to the eight-legged horse's request to come to the real world to see his biological parents.

If we consider his thoughts at the same time in the original work, he would have loved to abandon his human identity and would never have wanted to find his biological parents.

Chapter Twenty, Palad's Resolve

The human army arrived shortly after the eight-legged horse-like beast left.

Faced with the research institute's location, which was no longer recognizable, the soldiers were unsure how to proceed. After a moment's hesitation, however, they dispersed and entered the numerous craters to search for something.

Clearly, the higher-ups had already given them the order to search for information.

Even in such ruins, they tried to salvage something from them.

This is what soldiers are like: they always put orders first.

It's easy to imagine that these people returning empty-handed will cause another storm.

However, these things have nothing to do with Emu; let Captain Satsuma worry about them.

After so many battles, the sun had already set, leaving only a sliver of its afterglow on the earth.

He was so arrogant, constantly warning Palad not to participate in the main battlefield.

Aren't I just as incapable of joining that level of combat?

If I had known this would happen, I wouldn't have hidden away a bunch of Gundam cartridges.

Wouldn't it have been better to use the Gundam cartridge to quickly sweep away the Gizmon army and protect Parad when the Bio-Spinosaurus attacked?

Ultimately, Palad's serious injury was inextricably linked to his own arrogance.

Emu takes himself too seriously.
