Chapter Sixty VS. the Apocalyptic Beast (Part Two)

In the third movie, *Battle of the Adventurers*, Apocalymon and Omegamon are mortal enemies. However, this is only the first movie, and Apocalymon and Omegamon haven't had much interaction yet.

However, when Apocalypsemon saw Emu using the Omegamon Gashat, it felt a strange sense of disgust, and its hatred for the children was pulled away.

Apocalymon waved its tentacles, blocking Emu's cold air blast. The tentacle was instantly encased in a thick layer of ice. Apocalymon, however, seemed unconcealed, instead venting its undisguised jealousy and hatred towards Emu. Its other tentacles transformed into the head of MetalSeadramon, spewing flames and melting the ice.

"I'm not some Digimon, I'm just a Kamen Rider who's passing by... Remember that!"

Emu didn't think he could defeat Apocalypse Beast with just one Cold Air Bomb. While casually borrowing a classic quote from Xiaoming, he charged towards Apocalypse Beast, the Tyrannosaurus Sword in his left hand emitting an orange-yellow light as he slashed down at it.

"Kamen Rider... You think you can fool me?! It's just a new Digimon! Do you think I can't tell the power you're using?! This disgusting, luminous power!"

Apocalymon roared, its two tentacles transforming into Piedmon's longswords to meet Emu's descending Tyrannosaurus Sword. Several other tentacles silently circled behind Emu, their five-pronged forms opening, their iron claws, bound by dark power, poised to strike.

Piedmon's longsword was no match for Tyrannosaurus Rex's. After Emu's sword struck down, it snapped in two, and the pentagonal pyramids on its two tentacles fell off, leaving only two bare, DNA-like spiral tentacles.

At that moment, several tentacles of the Apocalymon, which had been lying in ambush, shot out instantly. Emu sensed something was wrong and skillfully dodged most of the attacks, but was still grabbed by the waist by one of the tentacles. Then, several more tentacles followed, locking all of Emu's limbs in place.

This was, after all, territory created by Apocalypsemon, and Emu's senses were greatly weakened, allowing Apocalypsemon to seize this opportunity.

The Apocalymon burst into laughter, and its two previously bald tentacles rapidly grew two pentagonal pyramids, which it proudly waved in front of Emu, showing off its regenerative abilities:

Its extraordinary regenerative abilities also mean it doesn't need to worry about the damage caused by frequently using its special attacks. It can be said to be the Digimon most suited for endless barrages of attacks.

Emu also had some guesses about Apocalymon's tactics. Three of the Four Heavenly Kings had used this method before, and if their bodies weren't too weak, they could have kept going for ages.
