To be honest, when parents hear their children talk about their adventures in the Digital World, their first reaction is disbelief. After all, otherworldly adventures only exist in games in this era.

However, upon seeing the live Digimon, the parents immediately believed their children. Then came a wave of fear, terrified that their children had experienced such a dangerous situation.

Even if the children stood perfectly intact in front of them, it couldn't dispel their feelings.

The divorced parents of the brothers A-He and A-Wu even sat down together again to give their children a stern talking-to about their behavior.

The parents were especially outraged when they learned their children planned to return to the digital world. Their reactions were remarkably unanimous:

no way!

This worried the children greatly. When they first got home, they were happy with the comfortable conditions. However, after carefully recalling their previous adventures, the magical and beautiful scenes of the Digital World made them miss it.

Even Myotismon, who once reigned supreme in the Digital World, has fallen to their hands. The children's strength is more than enough to dominate the Digital World.

This time, unlike last time, I don't need to worry about my safety; instead, I can enjoy the wonders of the digital world.

Not to mention, the curiosity and longing for the ultimate form entices the children to return.

But none of this mattered to the parents. Even the wish of a good student like A-Zhu, who "hopes to take advantage of the time difference to study hard and improve his grades," was put second by his parents when it came to his safety.

The only saving grace was that the parents didn't show any aversion to the Digimon. On the contrary, they were very grateful to them for protecting their children and specially prepared a big meal for them to treat them well.

The children tried to persuade their parents all day to no avail, so they finally had to turn to Emu for help. In their view, Emu, who could travel to different worlds, must have some special skills in persuading his parents.

However, they didn't know that Emu only told his mother that he was going out to play, but he didn't say that his "play" was a journey that spanned several worlds.

In other words, the time difference between the worlds is different, and with the Dark Ship able to control it to some extent, the time he was away wouldn't be too long, which is why Emu dared to be so reckless.

Persuade? Not a chance.

The children obviously couldn't be fooled like that. However, Emu had a unique persuasive skill: since the parents were worried about the children's safety, why not just show them the children's strength?

So the children took their parents to the beach and each of them showed off their teamwork.

The power of an Ultimate-level monster is basically on par with a nuclear bomb. For example, MetalGreymon's Pokédex entry states that its attacks are comparable to a nuclear warhead. The only difference is probably that it doesn't suffer from contamination.

After all, the deterrent power of nuclear weapons lies not only in their immense destructive force, but also in the pollution caused by nuclear radiation, which is even more alarming.

The power of the Ultimate level is even greater than that of the Perfect level. In particular, Tai and Yamato, in their great effort to convince their parents, displayed an even more exaggerated level of power.

After witnessing Garurumon split the sea in two with a single slash and BlitzGreymon unleash a blast that sent waves nearly a hundred meters high into the air, the parents were stunned for a long time. Upon returning home, they agreed to their children's requests.

After all, their biggest concern—the safety of the children—had been resolved; everything else was minor. Another world it was, as long as the children were happy.

In the original story, having witnessed the children's courage and growth in fighting against Myotismon, these parents decisively let go. This time, after the children's persistent pleading and witnessing the exaggerated power of Digimon, the parents readily relented.

The problem is that the kids made quite a commotion trying to convince their parents. According to the information Koushiro found, the US military detected huge energy fluctuations from the Digimon, and everyone became tense. They were torn between wondering if their Japanese allies were up to something big and whether China was conducting a secret experiment.

However, none of this concerns the children anymore. While the US military is busy, they are already on their way back to the digital world.

As the digital world drew closer, the children stopped what they were doing. Unlike their initial panic upon their first visit, this time the children were filled with anticipation!

Digital world, here we come again!

Chapter Twenty-Three: Two Arrows

After seeing off Pumpkinmon and Oremon, the children boarded the Dark Ship and arrived at Myotismon's castle.

They didn't have any base in the Digital World, and they didn't intend to bother Gennai, so they simply came to Myotismon's castle.

After all, I've lived here for over three months, so I've gotten used to it. Besides, there aren't many Digimon around, so I don't have to worry about being disturbed during training or research. It's a very convenient place.

"Oh! The dark clouds in the sky have dispersed! Is it because the vampire beast was defeated? How wonderful, this time we can even sunbathe inside the castle!"

When the Vampire Beast's castle came into view, everyone became excited. The dark clouds that had perpetually hung over the castle had actually dispersed. Gentle sunlight shone on the castle, bringing a sense of inexplicable peace.

The original Vampire Beast Castle was shrouded in a gloomy atmosphere due to the ever-present dark clouds. However, the children mostly trained outside, so they didn't pay much attention to it.

Now that the clouds have dispersed and the sun is shining brightly, the children can't help but be happy. Although they don't really care about the atmosphere of the castle, the sunshine is obviously more comfortable than the gloomy feeling.

"Emu, could you please help Hikaru create a training plan? Hmm... Hikaru has always been in poor health, so I hope you can take that into consideration."

Taiichi saw the castle and thought about the arrangements for his younger sister, Hikari.

To verify Koushiro's conjecture, even if Tai and Yamato don't need to take risks, Angemon and Angewomon's "arrows" are still necessary.

Now Takeru can freely evolve Patamon into Angemon; all that's needed is for Hikari to master Mega Evolution.

In this regard, the children all agree that Emu and Lion Cub are the most suitable coaches. They have grown to where they are today under the guidance of this duo.

Therefore, Taiichi asked Emu to help Hikaru develop a training plan and provide guidance to Hikaru.

Emu readily agreed. Aside from the added appeal of the original story, he had gotten along well with Hikari when he lived at Tai's house. He even gave Hikari an arc light machine as a gift.

When his older brother isn't involved, Xiaoguang is always a gentle and kind child who easily wins the favor of others.

However, as Hikari's training was about to begin, Taichi became uneasy. Hikari had always been in poor health; the last time she missed the camping trip with everyone was because she had a cold.

With this kind of physique, can Xiaoguang withstand the special training?

"Taiyi, you don't need to worry. I will take Hikari's health into consideration. In fact, I will only let Hikari do some normal exercises to make her healthier, and I will not do any training that exceeds her limits."

Moreover, Hikari is actually different from everyone else. Her partner, Gatomon, trained and grew to the Champion stage on its own, and the difference between her and the Ultimate stage isn't that great. This greatly reduced Hikari's burden.

In reality, she only needs to master how to use the badge to quickly achieve mega-evolution. Training is merely icing on the cake, not essential.

However, this is a rare opportunity, so let Xiaoguang get more exercise; it will be good for her too.

Emu had met many brothers and understood Taiichi's current dilemma. Without any impatience, he explained it to Taiichi in detail.

Xiao Guang clenched his little fists and puffed out his cheeks, saying:

"Brother, don't worry, I'll be fine!"

She knew that Sora and her brother were teammates on the same team and were quite athletic. Although she wasn't a great athlete due to physical limitations, she couldn't just give up like that!

Sora noticed Hikaru's gaze but didn't say anything. It's good to be able to compete in this area; if Hikaru is healthy, Taichi will be happy too.

After listening to Emu and Hikari's words, Taichi breathed a sigh of relief. He was still a little worried, but since Hikari had expressed her support, he, as her older brother, could only offer his assistance.

…………

As it turns out, Emu wasn't fooling Taichi. Hikari mastered Mega Evolution on the fifth day after arriving in the Digital World, successfully evolving Gatomon into Angewomon.

In fact, in the original story, Hikari easily completed her Mega Evolution. Her personality perfectly embodies the meaning of the Crest of Light, allowing her to easily manipulate its power.

Hikari and Gatomon's bond grew rapidly. Gatomon had endured so much hardship and waited for countless years before finally meeting Hikari. This kind of love, forged after such trials, was the most genuine and passionate, causing Gatomon's feelings for Hikari to surge exponentially.

When both parties are not at odds, and one party takes the initiative to be enthusiastic and unreservedly express their goodwill and affection, it often leads to a significant warming of feelings in the other party. This is the case with Gatomon and Hikari.

This rapidly developing emotional bond is one of the reasons why Xiaoguang was able to quickly master Mega Evolution.

Ten days after Hikari mastered Mega Evolution, Koushiro finally couldn't contain his curiosity and called over the Yagami siblings and the Ishida brothers to prepare for the next step of his research.

The other children also gathered around to watch the excitement. Even A-Zhu, who was completely absorbed in studying, came over with an English textbook to see what was going on.

Koushiro opened his notebook, typed away furiously, and then said to Takeru and Hikaru:

"Alright, now please evolve."

Takeru and Hikari exchanged a glance, then extended their right hands, tightly grasping the Holy Plan that shimmered with white light. The Emblem of Light hanging on Hikari's chest also lit up.

"Patamon evolves into Angemon!"

"Gatomon Mega Evolution - Angewomon!"

Snow-white feathers drifted down, and Angemon and Angewomon spread their wings, floating in mid-air behind their partner.

"Alright! The next step is to condense the arrow. This is the most important part! Don't worry about how to do it, just follow your instincts!"

Without even looking up, Koushiro continued typing on the keyboard, shouting loudly.

Upon hearing this, Angemon and Angewomon made a drawing motion as if to draw their bows. At that moment, the crests on Takeru and Hikari's chests shone brightly, suddenly transforming into two solid arrows that appeared in Angemon and Angewomon's hands.

"Great! That's it! Hold on, hold on! Give me two minutes! I'll scan the program right away!"

Koushiro became even more excited, typing faster with both hands. Rows of data flowed across the laptop screen.

Although Koushiro hasn't gotten the final result yet, he has a premonition that he's going to succeed!

Chapter Twenty-Four: The New Ultimate Evolution

Angemon and Angewomon maintained their archery stance with difficulty. The arrows formed from the Crest of Hope and the Crest of Light seemed to possess their own consciousness, absorbing the energy of the two angel-type Digimon while following Taichi and Yamato's direction, full of eagerness to be released.

Tai and Yamato had a creepy feeling. After fusing and evolving with Agumon and Gabumon, their intuition had become much sharper. Not to mention how obvious those two arrows were.

Both of them took two steps back, their Arc Light Machines already gripped in their hands. Agumon and Gabumon also stood before them with serious expressions, ready to use their Ultimate Evolution to save the day should anything go wrong.

"Koushiro... are you done yet... I can't hold on much longer..."

"Me too... I'm about to lose my grip..."

Angemon and Angewomon gritted their teeth, trying their best to control the two unruly arrows.

"Almost there...almost there...ready! That's it!"

As Koushiro muttered to himself, his hands suddenly stopped typing on the keyboard, and he shouted loudly.

Hearing Koushiro's call, Angemon and Angewomon breathed a sigh of relief and stopped drawing their bows and channeling energy into the arrows. However, the arrows had already absorbed a lot of energy, making them difficult to control.

It took another ten minutes or so for Angemon and Angewomon to finally retrieve the arrows. Reluctantly, the two arrows transformed into two beams of light and returned to Takeru and Hikari's crests.

Angemon and Angewomon landed on the ground, panting heavily, and immediately reverted back to Patamon and Gatomon. This time, they were exhausted. Not only was their energy depleted, but their mental state was also severely strained.

However, judging from Koushiro's satisfied expression, this operation was clearly very successful.

However, Koushiro was still engrossed in processing the program, and although the children were curious, they did not urge him, waiting for Koushiro to give them the results.

More than an hour passed, and the children, bored, chatted quietly to each other. Aju stopped memorizing his English and chatted animatedly with Emu about how to study efficiently.

Aju's dream is to become a doctor. Doctors are a highly respected profession in Japan, but they also require a high level of education, making it difficult for ordinary people to get into relevant universities.

Emu's original goal was also to become a doctor, and she and Joe had a lot in common. Joe sometimes does some strange things because of his somewhat rigid personality, but he is indeed an honest and trustworthy person, and is worth getting to know better.

"Okay! I got it done!"

Suddenly, Koushiro shouted and jumped up, holding his notebook.

He had been sitting for too long, and his legs were starting to go numb. He stumbled and almost fell. Luckily, the beetle beast helped him up, preventing a fall.

However, Koushiro didn't care about any of that. After thanking Tentomon, he excitedly told everyone:

"Listen to me, everyone. I have deciphered the program in the arrow and simulated the results of the program interacting with the badges of courage and friendship."

Sure enough, I found a new program within it. After testing, I discovered that it was indeed a program for secondary amplification! I modified it, and theoretically, it can now become our universal program and achieve ultimate evolution!

"Wow, Koushiro is amazing!"
