A Young Woman's Heart

"I bumped into a pillar," Li Wanyan replied with the same excuse.
"I see. Be careful when you walk." Ye Wen nodded and didn't ask any more questions.
But judging from her expression, she didn't really believe it.
Then she gently tapped Gao Yuan's forehead.
The latter immediately covered her forehead and cried out with a wronged expression, "Wow—Awen! I didn't do anything today, why did you hit my head!"
"You call me A-Wen?" Ye Wen glanced at Gao Yuan sideways. "Yeah, I just typed this out today. I'll have to type it out later anyway. Did you not do your homework again?"
"I wrote it all, I copied it all... I wrote it all!" Gao Yuan blurted out in a moment of carelessness.
Ye Wen narrowed her eyes and stared intently at Gao Yuan: "Oh? Did you write it yourself, or did you plagiarize it? Tell the truth!"
"I wrote it myself, I wrote it myself, really!" Gao Yuan looked at Ye Wen with a particularly innocent and naive gaze.
However, given his consistent behavior, it's really hard to believe.
"Wanyan, did this kid copy it or write it himself?" So, Ye Wen chose to ask the class monitor she trusted.
Li Wanyan glanced at Gao Yuan expressionlessly, which made the latter feel uneasy, but he still forced a calm smile.
"He didn't do it."
Gao Yuan's heart skipped a beat.
"He came over this morning to finish it; it wasn't copied, he wrote it himself." But what followed sent Gao Yuan back to heaven once again.
"Oh? Is that so? It's better to do your homework at home next time." Ye Wen flicked Gao Yuan's forehead again. "Alright, now get back to your morning reading."
"Yes Yes Yes……"

Chapter Thirty-Three: Blackboard Bulletin
Yukong High School was as noisy as ever at noon.
The playground and the corridors were packed with people.
On the contrary, there were not many students in the classroom.
Mo Xueyao had already finished the draft and was now moving a chair over to stand next to the blackboard at the back of the classroom, figuring out where to start drawing.
She had not received any formal training in drawing or layout, so she hesitated a little before putting pen to paper.
"I guess I should start with the hardest one." Mo Xueyao muttered to herself as she opened a box of brand-new colored chalk that Ye Wen had given her and counted the colors inside.
There are only seven colors in total, but not the seven colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and violet. Instead, there are seven colors: dark purple, light orange, light green, light blue, bright red, pale yellow, and pink. As for white chalk, you can just take it from the podium; there are plenty there.
Ye Wen had originally offered her some paint, but Mo Xueyao wasn't very good at mixing colors and didn't want to get paint all over her body that she couldn't wash off, so she refused.
Chalk dust can be washed off easily, but paint dust is a different story...
The theme of the blackboard bulletin was autumn, so she started by drawing a sketch of autumn on the right side of the blackboard.
To be precise, it should be called copying the sketches you drew yourself.
However, the feel of pencil drawing and chalk drawing is so different. Not only is it more laborious to draw, but the results are not necessarily very good.
Mo Xueyao, who originally thought she could complete a blackboard bulletin board with all the content except the text in one noon, finally realized that she had been thinking too much.
"Little Yao~" Mo Xiao's cheerful voice came from behind Mo Xueyao. She touched her slightly yellow hair and asked with a smile, "Need any help?"
"Ah... I, I can manage on my own." Mo Xueyao said with an embarrassed smile, she was still not used to having girls help her with things.
"It's alright, don't be shy. Is there anything you need me to draw? As long as it's simple, I should be fine with it."
"Uh... then draw me a tree, a maple tree with fallen leaves, right in the middle of the blackboard."
"Okay." Mo Xiaoxiao turned to her younger sister and called out, "Youyou, come here, come here, help me!"
"Ugh... Sis, you're such a nuisance." Mo Zhuyou walked over with droopy eyelids, her whole body screaming "I don't want to move."
"Let's draw trees together. We need to draw many maple leaves, one by one."
"So troublesome...?" Mo Zhuyou was already thinking of backing away.
These two are twins, but their personalities are completely different.
"Come on, drawing is a lot of fun." Mo Zhuyou smiled and squinted her eyes.
"...Alright." Seemingly sensing the intimidating aura emanating from her older sister, Mo Zhuyou finally reluctantly agreed.
Mo Xiaoxiao instantly regained her sweet smile.
Although Mo Zhuyou always felt that there was a knife hidden inside...
"Thank you." Mo Xueyao thanked the two of them again. After all, she was the publicity committee member, and drawing the blackboard bulletin was her job, not someone else's. Mo Xiaoxiao and Mo Zhuyou's help was purely voluntary.
"It's alright, it's alright. If no one else was going to be the publicity officer, I would probably be the one anyway." Mo Xiaoxiao picked out a yellow and a green piece of chalk from the chalk, and then smeared them together on the blackboard, trying to make them turn brown by mixing the two colors.
Although the effect wasn't great, it still managed to capture a semblance of... a tree trunk.
Once she gets into the zone, Mo Xueyao automatically blocks out external influences and concentrates fully on completing the task at hand.
So the whole noon seemed to pass by in no time for her.
She even drew during the lunch break, and only finished Qiu Yi's portrait when the bell was about to ring for the first class in the afternoon.
This is the most complex part; once this is completed, the rest becomes simple.
The repetitive work of tending the fallen maple leaves was also handled by the Mo sisters. All that was left was to do was create some decorative borders and draw some horizontal lines for writing articles.
As for what to write in the article... it's either excerpting excellent paragraphs or writing it yourself.
For Mo Xueyao, whose Chinese language scores are fairly good, it seems that writing it herself is more convenient.
"Hoo-hoo—" Mo Xiaoxiao stretched lazily, nodded with satisfaction at the maple tree that took up most of the blackboard, "Not bad, not bad, it really feels like autumn~!"
"I'm exhausted... Sis, my hands are about to break from drawing..." Mo Zhuyou complained weakly.
"Oh, thank you... How about I treat you to snacks after school?" Mo Xueyao said with a touch of heartache.
What hurt wasn't Mo Zhuyou's hands, but the money in his own pocket...
Will the twenty-yuan bill finally come in handy?
"No need, no need, just ignore her, that's just how she is." Mo Xiaoxiao quickly shook her head. "By the way, I didn't see which way Xiaoyao went home after school. I wonder if we're going the same way?"
"Me? I went back from the left, along that small path. My home is quite far away."
"On the left? Xiaoyao rides a bicycle too, right?" Mo Xiao asked with a smile.
"Yes."
"My sister and I also walk on the left!" Mo Xiaoxiao said happily. "How about we go home together after school?"
"Huh... wait?" Going home with a girl?
It is indeed one of my dream things.
Although I feel a little embarrassed, I am indeed looking forward to it.
After all, going home alone is just too boring.
"Is it far for you to get home?" Mo Xueyao asked.
"It's similar to yours... We live near Changmu Bridge."
"Oh—do you guys know the Tesco supermarket nearby?" Mo Xueyao asked, somewhat surprised.
"I know."
"My home is very close to there."
"Oh! Is it Desheng East Village?"
"Yeah, it seems like we were going the same way the whole time."
“That’s right! So we should go home together, right, little sister?” Mo Xiao smiled and pinched Mo Zhuyou’s little face.
Actually, there's a very easy way to tell the two apart: the older sister has two dimples, while the younger sister only has one.
The older sister likes to laugh, while the younger sister doesn't laugh as much.
"I have no objection..." Mo Zhuyou patted the chalk dust off her clothes and muttered, "Sister, you're covered in chalk dust. You're washing clothes today."
"I give up on you, you little lazybones." Mo Xiao laughed, her tone tinged with affection. "Fine, I'll wash it then."
"Yay! We can watch TV tonight!"
"...So that's what you're planning? You're really... pathetic." Mo Xiao laughed and pinched Mo Zhuyou's nose. "Alright, alright, class is starting, go back to your seat."
In that instant, Mo Xueyao inexplicably felt that the two didn't seem like sisters, but rather like lovers...
What was that strange sense of déjà vu I just experienced?
On Tuesdays, the first class in the afternoon is a political science class, officially titled Politics and Society.
Mo Xueyao thought she could get rid of this painful course when she got to high school, but she didn't expect to encounter it again.
To be honest, she wasn't very interested in politics because she always felt that what was said was a mechanical repetition and the answers written were very official statements.
Simply put, the content of political classes is somewhat dry and boring.
She might be quite interested in topics like war, but politics...
I get sleepy just thinking about it.
Perhaps it's because politics is something that's just too far removed from ordinary people like her.
The political science teacher was a man with a small mustache who had a melancholy air about him.
Of course, the moment he opened his mouth to speak, that melancholy air was instantly destroyed.
Hey everyone! Haven't seen me all National Day holiday, did you miss me?
"think--"
"In no mood--"
